  1. We really enjoy bluegrass and Tom Adamโ€™s is a favorite of ours.
  2. We endured 35-45 mph winds with a lot of hard rain and wind gusts in our Ollie camping up in Floyd County in SW Virginia a few years ago. It was a real doozy of a storm that lasted well into the next day at noon. Other than a little periodic rocking from high wind gusts our Ollie handled the conditions well and we had no issues with water intrusion. Our Ollie was not coupled to our TV at the time of this storm. It truly was the closest thing to being in an automatic brushless car wash we had ever experienced. We hope all goes well and you stay safe! -Patriot ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ
  3. All good points Bill. And when all else fails my eyelids pull the good night curtain when itโ€™s time to hit the hay.. ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜ด
  4. Great question Steve. Does the tinted window and Zarcor blind block all light? I would say not ๐Ÿ’ฏ. The blind might still may allow a real tiny seam of light to enter around the perimeter of the blind kinda similar to a home blind. When we see yโ€™all at this years rally you are more than welcome to come by and have a look at it and see what you think. From a privacy aspect as when the blind is quickly opened it does help to see who is unexpectedly knocking at the door. Itโ€™s also allows for another window to be looked through when the blind is open. The Zarcor tinted window does match up well with the other Oliver windows. -David @topgun2 shared this mod with us and may have some input. ๐Ÿ˜Š
  5. Yes, safe travels Mike and Carol! David and Kathy
  6. Wayfinder, Nice job on the replacements gas lines! I always like a really clean looking fit and finish. Itโ€™s all in the little details for sure! ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป -Patriot ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ
  7. The Zarcor window shade is a game changing mod! Highly recommend! Patriot ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ
  8. Happy New Year! Wishing everyone many safe miles and smiles for 2023!! ๐Ÿฅณ -Patriot ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ
  9. Knowing we owed zero sales tax in Tenn on the purchase, we went over to our local DMV and got an estimate on our approximate sales tax, and registration and property tax fees. This allowed us to have our payment to the DMV ready once we returned home to register our Ollie.
  10. Tank you Bill, actually Tanks a lot! ๐Ÿ˜‚
  11. John, Thank you it took a little time for it to all finally come together. We sure are very grateful to have a place at home to park our Oliver. Those lights are solar powered and we purchased them off Amazon. -Patriot ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ
  12. @SeaDawg Thank you. ๐Ÿ˜Š We are located in Western NC and we rarely get very much snow at all. And not having any frost in the ground during winter what little snow we do get does not last long. Our roof on the Ollie Hangar is snowload certified/rated for 35# per square foot. We sure hope itโ€™s never tested.
  13. We kept it fairly simple 13โ€™w 11โ€™h 25โ€™L and no doors just an all steel building. Having a (3) car garage upper attached and a lower basement garage we just did not need another garage. So we had an โ€œOllie Hangarโ€ built 6 months ago. Lead time from when we ordered was two weeks. In a day and a half we had our Ollie under cover. The concrete pad is 13x55. This has worked perfectly for our needs. From this - . To this-
  14. Thanks for a the report. Have you considered 30# LP tanks for winter camping? Patriot ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ
  15. Youโ€™re on to something now! ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป๐Ÿ˜Š
  16. Coming soon the HM LP conversion kit for the 3200. https://www.hutchmountain.com/collections/propane-natural-gas-conversions/products/honda-eu3200i-propane-natural-gas-gasoline-generator-tri-fuel-kit
  17. A pretty neat promo vid on the EU3200i.
  18. The devil is in all the details for sure. ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป
  19. Welcome back and glad you had minimal damage from Ian and your Oliver was not damaged. I feel sure that our great Moderators are working closely with Matt and Jason on a solution to the registration vetting. It sure is a wonderful cause helping others recover! Merry Christmas! Patriot ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ
  20. The TST TPMS we use monitors the tire pressure and tire heat and does not require the tire to be in rotation for a reading. It also works fine on the stationary spare. Patriot ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ
  21. John, I have the TST TPMS and I replace the batteries in the sensors once per year. I also remove all batteries on any Ollie remotes when we winterize. Just replace with fresh in the Spring. Old batteries can weep and become a mess if left too long in any device. Patriot๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ
  22. Sounds great Bill, look forward to seeing that install! ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป Merry Christmas to you and Debbie! - David & Kathy
  23. @topgun2 Maybe we can combine this duplicate thread with RideandFlys? And Merry Christmas ๐ŸŽ„ again! ๐Ÿ˜Š
  24. @John Welte Oliver actually calls the aluminum basket a โ€œstorage basketโ€. ๐Ÿ˜‰ I personally donโ€™t have any concerns about running our (LP fueled) Honda in the storage basket. When we do run it, it will be for a short duration to cool the interior down, recharge bats, and not for an extended period of time such as sleeping. Gotta use extreme care. Other owners may chime in and share a different point of view and their experiences. - David
  25. Ralph, I sent you a PM with a few questions regarding your Oliver service experience. David
