One thing really important I would suggest you consider adding to your checklist or maybe I over looked it. Consider adding a check to make sure your TV and Oliver’s electronic brake setting is in sync. How to Adjust Trailer Brake Controller: 6 Steps 1 Step 1: Plug in the Trailer Wiring Harness. ... 2 Step 2: Allow the Brake Controller to Calibrate. ... 3 Step 3: Select Personal Settings. ... 4 Step 4: Set the Maximum Output. ... 5 Step 5: Adjust the Sensitivity Level. ... 6 Step 6: Manually Activate Brakes as Needed. Happy and Safe Travels! Patriot🇺🇸

@Dwain Kitchens I don’t know what TV you are going to be using if you purchase an Oliver or any TT for that matter. I can say that having really large electronically adjustable defrosting featured tow mirrors is one of the nicest visual tools to have when towing. The wonderful feature we enjoy when towing the Oliver is it’s only the width our TV and we do not have to extend our Ford Super Duty mirrors at all. The lower blind spot mirrors are an invaluable tool as well. In my experience larger mirrors are very critical to a safer towing experience. You will find they are a really invaluable and you will come to really appreciate larger tow mirrors when backing into a campsite especially in low light conditions. If you’re open to suggestions, consider going to a truck dealer of your choosing and sit it a truck with large tow mirrors and then compare it to a truck with standard mirrors. It’s a 💯 game changer. Just another thing to consider about when you decide on a TV. Patriot🇺🇸

Interesting… This June 16th we will have our owned our Oliver 3 years. We have not experienced any unusual glue, resin or strange orders in our hull or interior since we took delivery. At delivery we had a very faint odor of resin which dissipated or off gassed pretty quickly within the first few days. Oliver really did an amazing job of cleaning our interior. @Wayfinder I hope you can locate the source of your issue. Patriot🇺🇸

1Up USA also sells the optional license plate relocation kit which I also installed. This allows for our license plate to be legally visible when we cover our bikes during travel. The XXL Yard Stash covers work great in keeping our bikes clean and dry. We have driven through some strong rain storms and they get the job done.

I was on the 1Up USA website and noticed they now sell cargo carriers. So I decided to post up a link in case anyone is considering a cargo carrier for their Ollie. We have the 1Up Super Duty (2) bike rack and are very pleased with the fit, finish and fitment. These cargo carriers look really nice. USA made! 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸 https://www.1up-usa.com/product/60in-hitch-mounted-cargo-carrier/ Patriot🇺🇸

@John Welte Hey John, Sorry to hear about your bike rack failure what brand bike rack was it? It might be helpful for others to know. Here is the rack we are using and are extremely happy with. It is pricey but I think the best made engineered two bike rack for the Oliver. We and other owners have logged several thousand miles with bikes on this rack with zero issues. Our bikes loaded including the rack itself weigh right at 107# well below the Oliver bike rack limit of 150#. A plus with the aluminum finish is looks and blends in well with the Oliver rear bumper. As stated in my previous post it will require a mod to the Oliver factory receiver. https://www.1up-usa.com/product/2in-super-duty-double-bike-rack/ Hope this helps, happy and safe cycling. Patriot🇺🇸

5 pillows…well I suppose that can be a challenge. 😁 Good for you to come up with a solution!

No issues with reaching my drain valve either, then again at 6’3 I have fairly long reach/arms. I usually open the valve at home and just water the yard. Patriot🇺🇸

Gotta love a mini hoist along with the TV where tongue weight is not a concern with the gen basket loaded. Nice work!

Patriot replied to Patriot's topic in Mechanical & Technical Tips
@MobileJoy I agree John Halter was more than helpful when I had a few questions about this install/mod. One of the best most memorable dinners we enjoyed at MB was here - https://www.seacaptains.com The food and dinning area view of the Atlantic was excellent! Enjoy Myrtle Beach. Patriot🇺🇸 -
Need help with propane generator setup

Craig, Nice write up! Hope to see you both at this years Oliver Rally! David -
Chris, Our sales rep coordinated closely with us on the details of delivery day. Yours should as well. As you get closer to your delivery day your sales rep will email you confirming your delivery date other details and and hopefully info on a reservations at DCSP. Oliver usually has a few campsites set aside at David Crocket SP solely for new owners. Hopefully they are still doing this but you may want to ask your sales rep and confirm. We took delivery June 16, 2020 and we stayed at DCSP. We enjoyed this park. I believe our first night at David Crockett was compliments of Oliver. You can add a few extra days on your dime. Think hard about staying a few extra days at DCSP (highly recommended) this will give you time to give your Ollie a really good systems shakedown, push every button! If you have any “shake down” issues you can head right back to Oliver Service and get them addressed before heading home or beyond. Your special day is right around the corner and approaching fast! The team at a Oliver will go to great strides to get you taken care of, that I can tell you. - David

After each trip when returning home we empty our fresh tank. We refill again with home tap water the day we depart on our next trip. We sanitize usually once a season. We do not drink water from our fresh tank. We carry plenty of bottled water. Patriot🇺🇸

Gas Regulator Spare Part - Available GR-9994XF
Patriot replied to Galway Girl's topic in Mechanical & Technical Tips
A spare is always a good thing. I plan on bumping up to a little larger LP regulator like @GraniteStaters mentioned in another post. This is to avoid having any issues with running other LP appliances while running the generator. I will keep the old as a spare. They are easily found on Amazon or other vendors with a quick google search. Patriot🇺🇸 -
Protective Edge Strip for Spare Tire Cover
Patriot replied to MAX Burner's topic in Ollie Modifications
Hi John, It’s been awhile since I did this mod, I think I ordered 20 or 25’. I did not put this edging on the rear spare tire cover only the bed rail edges and dog house. It would seem that 30’ would get the job done. Partriot🇺🇸 -

You won’t need adhesive, this trim grips extremely well. No issues with it coming loose at all. -

Nice job! Here is a where you can ordered the edging off Amazon. 😊I used this on the edge of the dog house aka propane tank hood as well. And decided to use it on the fiberglass edges of the twin beds. -
