  1. We had a very similar issue last year, and took it to Oliver Service and they discovered the condensate drain tube was kinked like mentioned above by Seadawg. Oliver fixed the kinked drain tube and our AC has worked fine since. Hope you get it resolved quickly.
  2. @Fargoman, I considered installing a few short narrow Velcro strips as well to remove the bow in the panel, and may still have to even after installing the new vent frame and panel. I looked at a few Ollies at the Rally and did not see the bowing panel issue. Hopefully a new panel will correct the fit and finished look. Good mod hack repair/suggestion if any one is out of warranty and does not want to purchase another frame and panel I say Velcro On! 😊 -Patriot
  3. dhaig - IF THERE WAS AN “OLLIE MOD OF THE MONTH” AWARD YOU WIN!! 🏆 🏆 Another option at a cost - a little spendy.
  4. I thought I would bump this post since I was asked about the Zarcor window shade while at this years Rally by a few new owners. It’s a nice mod passed on to me by TopGun and naturally allows us to see who is knocking at the door. As mentioned we ordered tinted glass to match the Oliver tinted windows. A top five mod of ours. Hope this helps those that asked about it at the Rally. Happy Camping!
  5. Here you go LorL - Foy does amazing woodworking and we have a few of his crafts in our Ollie. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1xYYE_R9dKxbNapgWqzYcaaDYCtEj_m6v/view
  6. Cameron, Your welcome, just passing it forward. 👍🏻🇺🇸
  7. Yes, Oliver still installs Cooper tires. We have been very happy with our 10 ply E rated Cooper truck tires and see absolutely no need to change out.
  8. An interesting video with info on how thieves will use apple air tags to track and steal property. Stay Safe!
  9. Update - Mike Sharpe let me know he is having the parts department ship me a replacement vent frame tomorrow. Yet again, awesome Customer Service by Oliver Service Center Staff. I will post up a few pics after I install the new vent. -David
  10. I just submitted a work ticket on this same issue. We are still under warranty. I have requested service send me a new frame and refrigerator vent panel which I will install. I sent a video and these pictures to Mike Sharpe along with the work ticket. Add/edit - here is the left side of the vent which sits flush -
  11. Welcome to the forum! As Bill said really try and take the factory tour. You will see Ollies being assembled from start to finish and it is truly amazing. All the best with your choice! David
  12. Glad Jason got you squared away. Happy Camping!
  13. I use the cover Bill mentioned above. We have a cute little bird called a Carolina Wren that will build a nest 🪹 in short order. As soon as we bring our Ollie home from a trip I place the cover over the air conditioner shroud to keep the wrens out. It has worked great.
  14. Agree with Bill. We had a 2014 Tundra and eventually bumped up to a F350 6.7 diesel one ton. Our 14 Tundra ran much higher RPMs in the mountains and never really felt as planted as our Super Duty. Quite honestly no comparison between the two trucks. We looked hard at the new 2022 Toyota, unfortunately with a cargo capacity of only 1400 lbs we knew this was not adequate for cargo our needs and we would be quickly close or over legal weight limits. We always pull our Ollie with a full fresh water tank and plenty of camping gear, and a generator in the bed which quickly eats up 1400 lb limit. With the F350 we are well within our safety margin of cargo weight which eliminates that concern. Also the larger Super Duty Cab we find so much more comfortable and we feel safer on long trips than we did with the Tundra for many reasons. We sold our Andersen hitch after we sold our Tundra as it is not needed with our Super Duty. The Super Duty also has a longer bed than our former Tundra which again helps accommodate all of our gear, tools, etc. Good luck with your choice!
  15. We have stayed at Bear Den CG and also Mountain River Family CG in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Both privately owned in cooler elevations, clean bath houses, and very well run and secure. Both have full hook ups. Mountain River Family CG is bordered by the Toe River which also has great trout fishing. We simply prefer the privately owned CG’s over Federal Parks. The cost is a little more but you get what you pay for at least at these two I listed. Not at all campground snobs here, we just prefer privately owned CGs for all the amenities that go along with it. It really depends on how long you want to stay, your budget, and what type of camping you plan on doing. We try and book at least 4-5 day stays at most CGs locally. Happy Camping! https://www.beardenmountainresort.com https://www.mtnriverwnc.com Mountain River Family CG - Toe River
  16. Yes, even for the 2020 OLEll we received (2) 10’ sections. Our salesperson provided us a list of what we would receive on delivery day. We also upgraded to the Rhino Flex hose the day of delivery. Happy Camping!
  17. 100% total recovery! 👍🏻 😅
  18. Nan, Oliver Service sells those screens. I saw a recently purchased Ollie and service installed the screens for the new owner. Maybe give them a call. - David
  19. Congratulations! Wishing you many safe miles and adventures!
  20. A Memorial Day Salute to those service members that served and sacrificed everything. Let us never forget, Freedom is not Free.
  21. If you listen to the words it is obvious that it is about mother nature and the eventual demise of the human race by our own ignorance. We think that we are somehow more powerful than the earth and that we ultimately determine it's destiny. When in reality she can take it back at any time and we will be the only cost. Her love rains down on me easy as the breeze I listen to her breathing it sounds like the waves on the sea I was thinking all about her, burning with rage and desire We were spinning into darkness the earth was on fire She could take it back, she might take it back some day So I spy on her, I lie to her, I make promises I cannot keep Then I hear her laughter rising, rising from the deep And I make her prove her love for me, I take all that I can take I push her to the limit to see if she will break She might take it back, she could take it back some day Now I have seen the warnings, screaming from all sides It's easy to ignore them, God knows I've tried All of this temptation, you know it turned my faith to lies Until I couldn't see the danger or hear the rising tide She can take it back, she will take it back some day She can take it back, she will take it back some day She will take it back, she will take it back some day
  22. My Rock Stoppers have worked excellent on all gravel roads. In fact most if not all the CGs we visited last season had gravel roads and I can’t imagine towing without them. With the install of the 10 mil XPEL PPF I feel like I have done all I can do to keep the front of our Ollie looking decent. See a recent photo of our Ollie above.
  23. We have on demand hot water Rinnai at home, love it. We are very happy with the Truma and have never looked back. Super easy to winterize and easy to clean and very efficient. The new 2023 Olivers will have Truma furnaces, Truma AC, and the option for the Truma water heater. Just something to think about.
  24. I had zero issues during an amazing long Western NC to Maine and back trip even with the random diesel regen heat. So my answer is no exhaust heat issue on these flaps. They worked great and would absolutely purchase again. I ordered a set of the rock tamers, but returned them. I just prefer the custom clean look, solid fit and finish and simplicity of the install of “Rock Stoppers” instead. Plenty of clearance for exhaust heat.
