  1. We purchased our OLEll in June of 2020, it’s pretty exciting nice to see how well Olivers are holding their value. 👍🏻
  2. Carl, A great report and thank you for posting up your use and mileage stats. Hopefully this puts any concerns about removing the 1.25 core and using the Oliver aluminum 2” sleeve finally to rest. Simply staying under the weight limit is key. We really like our 1Up double bike rack. Patriot🇺🇸
  3. As is everything. For times such as these.
  4. Rene, Ultimately the choice of what new TV you buy is yours. Regardless of what brand truck you decide to purchase you may really want to factor in how long your warranty is post sale. All trucks now are what I call rolling IPads jam packed full of very sensitive electronics. Like you have pointed out, purchase a truck that fits your needs and most of all your budget. I think everyone would agree, the price of new trucks and cars has really gone up. All the more important to do your homework and not feel rushed to buy. It will all work out. Patriot🇺🇸

  6. @Rene, Very wise, good for you! Patriot🇺🇸
  7. @Rivernerd,💯 truth. I felt the same way about our 2014 Toyota Tundra Platinum 5.7. We sold it and bumped up to a 1 ton diesel F350. What a difference in ridiculous power, much more cargo capacity, better mpgs, amazing engine braking, superior handling and a huge difference in comfort on long trips. No Andersen WDH to be concerned with. There is really no comparison. 👍🏻 Patriot🇺🇸
  8. @Big CatYou have not really said why you want to secure your propane tank cover. If it’s to secure your LP tanks you may want to consider this mod. No guarantees that your tanks won’t get stolen, but it is better than no lock and is an easy and inexpensive mod. Please add your Oliver hull# and TV information to your signature line so that members can more readily help you with questions. Patriot🇺🇸
  9. Nice work! However it would have been an ideal time to install this! This is one of my top (5) favorite mods that I am really glad I did. You will see there are no screws used to secure the frame on the new model Ollies just a small clip to insert. Also the newer frames come with the sealant already attached to the frame. A thanks to @topgun2 for suggesting this mod!
  10. @Big Cat From your profile it appears you own an OLEll Hull#330. If you can give a better description on how you plan to mount your gps it may generate some cool ideas from other forum members on securing it. Just a thought; securing the tank cover may generate more curiosity from a thief. In other words “prying eyes” are drawn to the locked cabinet. Maybe securing the GPS device inside the LP tank storage area (with no visible lock on the exterior tank compartment) on its own might work better. I am interested hearing more about your mod. Patriot🇺🇸
  11. Sounds like you’re onto a good shop! It’s amazing what can be done with a fiberglass repair! All the best with your repair. Patriot 🇺🇸
  12. If it’s worth repairing, take it to Oliver and they will get you fixed up. They really know fiberglass and can do amazing repairs to fiberglass/gelcoat. It would look like nothing ever happened when they are finished. I would never take it to a marine boat repair shop, just my 02 cents. I hope it all works out for you. Patriot🇺🇸
  13. @Katjo @topgun2 I sent Phil Andrews an email so that he can make the change to consultant….or “consoling consultant”. 😄
  14. @angler Glad that your Ollie has been recovered and you at least you can now work on getting it back ship shape. Naturally you will want to go through ALL your systems and determine the extent of ALL damage done. As for additional security measures you could consider high end security cameras along with your motion sensor lighting. If a thief wants anything bad enough they will likely succeed. Short of removing the wheels during storage there are no 💯 guarantees that it won’t be stolen again. Possibly find a local indoor storage garage? Out of sight out of mind. Again glad to hear your happy ending with your Ollie recovery. I hope that your insurance company does everything in their power to make you whole again.👍🏻 Patriot🇺🇸
  15. “Sales Consoltant” sorta jumped out at me. Maybe edit that title for spelling Phil.
  16. Shall we ask how you know? 😄
  17. I think it would be well worth the time spent Steve! You will meet a lot of really nice Oliver owners! 👍🏻
  18. Steve, Welcome and congrats on your order! It will be here before you know it! Now is a great time to hit the books in Oliver University. You will be much better off on delivery day! Lots of great info on here as well. The search bar is your friend! 😊 Patriot🇺🇸
  19. I have this same Rubbermaid container and unfortunately mine is not water proof at all. I even attempted using a foam seal on the lid with no success. It only holds my Andersen plastic chocks and blocks so it’s not a show stopper. I drilled small water drain holes in the bottom rear corners to allow water to drain out. It works for what I need it to do.
  20. It’s nice to not have to think about pay load or travel comfort on a long trip…a great choice in TV’s! 👍🏻
  21. 65 mph is the sweet spot for my bride and I. We spent many years in the “hammer lane” during our long careers commuting. So now at this stage in our lives we just enjoy the journey and set the cruise and let the 8 wheels roll! David
  22. 💯agree with all the above! Especially no WDH and no concerns about payload or tongue weights while towing a ready to camp OLEll. 👍🏻 David
  23. Welcome to the forum Rene. A great place to learn more about Oliver TT. Now is a good time to read as much as you can in Oliver University. It will really come in handy when you get ready to place your final order. How exciting! Take your time when considering a new tow vehicle. No one ever said I have too much or too large of a tow vehicle. Think cargo capacity when selecting a TV and how much time you will be actually driving. We started out with a half ton Tundra and it was not long after we bumped up to an 1 ton diesel, by far a much higher comfort level on longer trips, ridiculous amount of power, better mileage, engine braking, and much more cargo capacity. There are many options out there. Best of luck with your choices! Patriot🇺🇸
  24. Interesting..something does not sound right. I can run the Dometic AC with an easy start and micro wave without any issues with my Honda. The new Truma Aventa we are having Oliver install in May will require the power of our eu3000is. As of right now the Truma Aventa can not be installed with an easy start as it will void the Truma warranty. We’ll learn more in May once we get the Truma installed,
  25. I have the TST system as well and have never experienced any issues. A call to their customer service might be in order. Hope you get it resolved. Patriot🇺🇸
