  1. Ordered a set thanks FrankC! Between the rubber mat and the rings I believe I got it covered. 😊
  2. Here is a pic of our battery tray in our 2020 LEll. No issues to date. It appears quite robust and solid.
  3. Good idea on additional weep holes…I will see how this works out and add if necessary. 👍🏻👍🏻 I was thinking about just removing the shelf and having it shot with Rhino bed liner. The $4 mat won. 😁
  4. Another good option - posted by Frank C on the Oliver FB page. I just prefer the $4 rubber mat.
  5. After recently upgrading to new 30 gallon LP tanks I decided to add a thin piece of rubber door mat to the shelf that the bottom tank rings sit on. I simply patterned it and cut it to fit the shelf. $4 for the mat at Wally World and 15-20 minutes to install. This should help prevent metal on metal corrosion from forming between the bottom of the LP tank ring and the metal shelf. I lightly sanded and cleaned the shelf, taped it off, and shot it with a rattle can coat of flat black rust preventive paint. Happy Camping!
  6. Take a moment to remember those that gave the ultimate sacrifice for the freedoms we still enjoy and hopefully will enjoy forever. I lowered our flag this morning as I do every year in remembrance of my brothers and sisters in Arms.
  7. We make it practice to always try and just be patient and just decent. Cooler heads will always prevail. We had a situation last year at a CG where we pulled up to a site we reserved and it was occupied. The couple had just completely set up unfortunately at our site. We greeted them both nicely and showed them our res on our iPhone. He checked his res and said…you are right. The guy was super nice and apologized and I offered to help him move which he declined. We just patiently waited for them to move to their site and actually got to know them a little and really we enjoyed each other’s company. I mentioned to him later that was the quickest most efficient move I had ever seen. We both got a chuckle. I don’t think his wife was very happy with him at first, but it all worked out. I don’t always have the unrealistic expectation that things will always go super smooth, but decency and respect go a long way in my experience.
  8. Looks like a beautiful area! Great photos and thank you for posting up!
  9. Bill, Looks like a nice place to camp. We are so glad y’all had a great trip and thanks for sharing fun photos and info! David & Kathy
  10. Month #11 with our Ollie stored here in our back yard on a 12X55’ pad we had poured. We have had zero issues with any critters entering or making a home inside our Ollie. We always remove any food source if we know we are not going to be traveling. I have installed S/S fine mesh screens over exterior appliance inlets and exhaust vents. I also cover our AC unit after every trip to preclude and Carolina Wrens from building their dream home. 😄
  11. So glad you got to experience the Oliver tour! It’s really amazing to see how Oliver creates their unique Travel Trailers. The new show room floor is like glass and Oliver has done an amazing job sparing little expense to show off their best. We were there just a few weeks ago and spent a fair amount of time with Anita she is a very special gal. We also had a wonderful conversation with Sales & Service Manager Rodney Lomax who is a great listener. A really down to earth good guy. Jason Essary and Mike Sharpe go above and beyond in service in our experience. Valentines Day will be here before you know it! Welcome to the forum and now is a great time to hit the books at Oliver University. -Patriot
  12. A contaminated diesel fuel tank with a hole poked in it is a lot cheaper to replace than a contaminated fuel system and engine. Sadly there are bad actors out there who like easy targets for vandalism. Just another point of view. What’s interesting is a friend of mine who just purchased a new 2021 GMC 2500 gasser has no gas cap at all, just a fill port.
  13. Such a great time with Bill and Debbie at Bandits Roost! It’s just great when a plan comes together!
  14. Looks like the rubber ring grommet where you secure the hook in the loop area is missing or maybe it did not have one. The rubber ring offers a little cushion or shock absorption when hooked. My SWAG.
  15. Ollie in the Wild! Bandits Roost CG in our beautiful home state of North Carolina. Nice large sites and clean facilities. Highly recommend this CG.
  16. Ralph Mawyer, I simply just replaced the light. I ordered two new replacement touch lights from Oliver. One for my galley sink and one over our burners is acting like it may need replacing as well. It does not work as consistently as the new replacement does. Contacted Mike at service and he shipped them to us USPS. The new light over the galley was easily replaced and I am waiting for the one over the burner to quit before replacing it. I spliced the wires and used electrical tape and heat shrink tubing to secure the connections. The new light works perfect. Stating the obvious here, it was a quick and straight forward fix. We’ll see how long these replacements last. -Patriot
  17. Best place to be, the sound of silence in the woods is perfect. 👍🏻
  18. We topped off the car with unleaded and topped off the Tremor with diesel. All is well for now.
  19. Most if not all of the fuel stations in our area are completely out including diesel. Bags are on pumps everywhere. We saw one tanker this morning as we had a few errands to run. Topgun2, I agree it may take a few weeks before we see fuel in our area with all these stations out. An upside world we live in.🙃
  20. The spare medeco key I believe was $14 shipped and it took several days as they actually have to cut another the key.
  21. Another update in this local link - NC Governor signs executive order for state of emergency. https://www.wcnc.com/article/traffic/gas-prices/colonial-pipeline-shutdown-cyber-attack-rising-gas-prices/275-4e9b318d-662a-4eb2-8f25-7877b34d2a6d
  22. I guess we’ll just stay home and camp on Blueberry Hill be grateful and let the world go right on by. Life is good!
  23. Such vulnerable times we live…in more news - https://www.bbc.com/news/business-57050690 Atlanta is now running out of fuel due to panic buying. 🙄
