While ours was used when purchased, therefore no ability to choose options, I will say our street side awning is used quite a bit. A lot of people will say they'd never use it and that may be the case, but having it and not having to worry about which way your parking to enjoy covered seating is quite nice. I myself wonder about the front basket, don't get me wrong I like it and you know how you camp, but between the solar and AGM batteries, if it's just for a generator you might find it actually becomes for a cooler. Good list otherwise, we've got the cell booster and have used it a lot, also have the wifi and have never used it once. Truma is good if you do hookups, so if your water is endless then it might as well be hot too. Personal preference - AC/DC fridge, no propane.

I would second Leisure Travel, in Canada, until deciding on going the trailer route, these to me seemed the most well built after all the research, they are pricy and are a wait to get if looking at new. Although I'm not familiar with Born Free.

The humor here, is that while reading Oliver's post that was exactly the same paragraph I was going to quote and comment on, pretty much the same way. So consider it seconded.

Reed, when trying to do those​ photos my trick is to do video, review, pause, screen capture, it's not like your trying to print 16x20s. What I don't understand is the need to side extract the water. You mention installing a pick up tube, why Oliver doesn't just install one in that top corner, cut a 35°angle on the end and insert it until it hits the bottom, they can then put a 90° where it exits the tank, there is plenty of clearance above the tank at this location. This is a power draw system, not a gravity feed, so there is no reason to try to get it from it's lowest point and as you demonstrate unless you can get the tongue up over your head and shake it out your never going to gravity drain the tank for winterizing.

Reed, are the new units coming with translucent windows? I'll have to check but I'm pretty sure ours is black, I don't remember noticing light through it.

Sitting Bull, I've had no trouble napping mid day, in the summer desert. It's just a recommendation, depending upon what your preferred level of darkness is. To me the only, not completely dark enough, area is the overhead fan. The night shades keep the interior pretty dark.

If they came out with one of these for an RV application, that would seriously interest me, if the fridge can run on propane why can't the Loo too. Seems like the next evolution..

As for the magnets, depending on whether the edge of the door is close enough to the wall, decides whether you would use one or two magnets. For two horizontal surfaces, attach one magnet to the fixed surface and stick the strike plate to it, then attach the other magnet to the back of the door as close to the pull hole as possible, so that it contacts the other side of the strike plate. You may want to crazy glue the strike plate to the fixed magnet. Attaching the magnets to the surface can be accomplished using VHB tape on the back. When selecting the magnets, these being sliding doors, you'd want the weakest possible. Ahhh..... Growing pains... The grass is always greener... I know let's try THIS... Maybe they have an early warning system and it went off that a "BUG" was trying to get into the system, so they made it more difficult..(so no one gets bitten)???? I do miss the side bar, other than that the rest looks the same. The login is still in the same place and brings you to the same area. My bookmark to get here goes straight to recent topics, which covers all areas, and I have the keep me logged in checked so I never have to redo it, unless I log out of clear cookies for some reason. I did notice that JWamsley was logged in a lot over the weekend, when I'd come in to read, maybe he recoded and didn't notice it wiped out the side bar and will be nice enough to put it back, don't really see a reason to have removed it purposefully, especially after they had recoded it to be smaller in actual threads. But I guess as long as Oliver controls their own forum, it's theirs to toy with. FiberglassRV is always an option, in that case.

When it comes to mods, Steve is the king. Here is his thread, page 2 had the bed riser. http://olivertraveltrailers.com/topic/mods-of-the-outlaw-oliver/ As Sherry points out, having it set up for solar, without the expense of components, would be the way to go, even more so in terms of resale value, with new equipment coming out all the time, you'd be doing everything possible to future proof it.

Interesting that the hull numbers are so close, as this would be an Oliver install item, I wonder if they maybe had a new hard charging enthusiastic employee installing them, hopefully they slowed him down a little since then. Seems anyone around those hull numbers might benefit a closer inspection, if concerned.

Pretty sure you meant Bill here But now the plot thickens, turn signal faults and rain... you mean you get these fault indicators from the trailer? If so, to me that would indicate more than just a single ground issue. Did they happen in conjunction with the disconnect message or completely by themselves with nothing else? If the latter, then I might be more inclined to have Ford check the back/underside condition of the wiring harness to the 7 pin on the truck. If in conjunction with the disconnect it may just be acting as an early warning system to the ground issue. Generally I would tend to think that if it isn't a constant sort of problem, the LED harness adapter would be my last step as I wouldn't think the truck would ever like the LEDs not just intermittently. I love a good puzzle..

This is the single best accessory I've seen on this forum, got one shortly after it was mentioned and it went up about a month ago and hasn't come down yet, sitting in it now actually. Thanks to whomever first brought it up.

Not having a 150, I will not speak to their electronics, but having the same issue and correcting it 9000 miles ago, I will speak to the ground. This is especially the case if your using an Andersen, the sleeve in it seperates the metal parts and causes an intermittent ground situation, one of the things to pay attention to is timing, when you crest a rise or are in a down hill situation and there is a negative pressure situation on the coupler. The easiest test for this fix is about $8 in parts from Home Depot, two alligator clips and a piece of wire 6', clip one end to the hitch frame on the truck and the other to the bottom of the bulldog where it curves together and there's a gap. This is how mine has been since last June and I've never had another problem. When not towing it's just wrapped around and clipped to back to the bumper. Oh, the first 1200 miles of towing I never had a problem, it was a naked hitch, then I found I need a WDH and got the Andersen. Let us know.

Brandi, Welcome and no question is ever bother here. I'm sorry I can't help you, mine is an Elite II, hopefully someone with an original will chime in. Make sure to post some pictures, someone who likes things colorful should be able to do wonders with a RED Oliver (if not mistaken) I don't believe a search would help as I cannot recall anyone mentioning fabric measurements in the past.
