Ah, twofootitis... Luckily, I got a vaccine. I would be surprised, while all businesses are about making money, part of that is supply and demand, their demand is good and they would have learned the first time around about the ability to shut down depending on circumstances. I suppose if they stopped doing the single axle, because there was no demand, so they still only produced two sizes. As for airstreamers saying that, very few would actually do it, the majority of them buy their trailer "because of the spectacular view out ALL the windows" and I don't see a molded fiberglass trailer incorporating that kind of window setup, so that would become the next excuse... "If only they had more windows" in fact some say that now. My 2¢

I wonder if they were even aware that those wheels were only rated for 60psi when they switched to them, I would tend to think they weren't.

They started incorporating the access hatch when more people asked about it to reach just the gravity drain valve easily for breakdown, so I believe it is now standard, asking for anything else just gets you more in addition.

Looking at Reed's picture, having mine seperated in half would not work with his storage, it needs every bit of space to squeeze in and with that rear propane connection, on the right, it wouldn't be able to slide in. That's a nice self protection wrench you have there.

I would have to guess that an individual owner would likely buy a product on a basis of how it looks or how much lower the price is than another, whereas an OEM would be more inclined to follow regulations and engineering standards to ensure proper setup and use, at least in the beginning before it is bastardized for nothing more than appearance

The older trailers had Pacer 162, I think that's the right model with brushed look, 16x7 with the "rivet heads" From Yvonne's picture they've changed to something else, no more rivets. Sendel makes a similar looking wheel, could be those. Edit-upon further review it seems they are more than likely the Sendel as theirs are 16x6 which her sticker picture specifies. Reed, I had that happen about a week ago. I had tried typing a response like three times, I finally said screw it and put it away for the night, figured I just wasn't meant to respond. When I came back the next day I didn't have any issues, I didn't however try to go back to that thread either. I haven't had another issue since. Maybe fate was just trying to watch out for you, were you trying to write about diesels again ; )

I'm very tempted, but being that we don't get to completely boondock enough, I wonder about how quickly it is storable, that being cooled off enough. For that money, I would be most worried about that walking off than anything else, in any kind of visible site.

Seems more than capable, a nice alternative. I like a vehicle that provides wading depth info (33.4"), it will be interesting to see what they end up with for fuel economy.

The new rack will certainly be more stable, not having that single hitch pivot point. It doesn't look like there would be any flex or bounce whatsoever. Two concerns, license plate visibility and tank dumping access. What are they pricing the new mount for, coming with the Thule?

The floor in the fridge area is solid front to back, there is no access to below area. So I would not recommend dismantling how well sealed that area is for proper fridge heat venting and isolation. You can cut an access hole in the bottom of the kitchen drawer area all the way to the left about 6" back. This is actually a good idea as that is where everything under there passes by water, heat, propane, electrical, etc.

So are you going to cut all the way across the plate or just cut a portion out? When you do the fabulous, huge, beautiful, greatest wall ever, oh wait that's a different wall.. keep in mind that the guts of the Oliver were designed so that they could be slid out the back if necessary. Maybe you want your ... wall to be hinged or at least removable, just in case.

Just to be clear, you are only speaking about the T-105 batteries that are "flooded" and not AGM, correct?
