  1. This works for us too.
  2. When my Xantrex 2K inverter was acting up a few years ago the Xantrex tech had me do a few things which did not solve the issue. Then he said to do a hard reboot. I left it overnight and when I reconnected the issue was gone. Mike
  3. When we had a gray water leak that left water on the lower hull, we had a slight odor in the trailer. I opened the hatches and placed a fan under the bath side dinette seat and blew air all day, first toward the back of the trailer then toward the front. It dried everything out well and the odor went away too. Stick your head in the seat opening and see if that is what you are smelling. Also, put some water in your black tank with your toilet additive to see if your surprises will loosen up over time. Mike
  4. Nice install! How bright is the LED? Which model did you order, I see several maxxair vent fans that are similar. Thanks! Mike
  5. My brother bought a similar Oliver. He keeps it on his back porch.
  6. US Army 1972-2016. All over the world. Mike
  7. Congratulations!
  8. Let him know there are more Oliver owners very interested in what he says! Mike
  9. I’m interested in your install and review, too. Our current Dometic noise machine needs to go. So, we have to choose between the Truma, Houghton or Freshjet. Thanks for posting this information! Mike
  10. This is an interesting product from Dometic. From their literature it seems that they understand their current AC’s have issues! I’d be interested in pricing. Mike
  11. Your lights are 12v and run off the batteries, even when you are on shore power. The inverter changes 12v from your batteries to 110v for your 110v outlets, it does not power your lights. Solar charges your batteries and doesn’t directly run anything. I don’t know what could be causing your issue, I’m not sure I hear it in your video. I’m sure someone will have an idea. Mike
  12. It was a good rally. Time to learn stuff and time to socialize and meet new friends. See you next year!
  13. I was too! There may other, more elegant ways to mount it. I figured it wasn’t coming off and if it did I’d replace it with something so the holes won’t show.
  14. I posted some pictures years ago when I installed my box but I can’t find the thread. Part of my box is on the fiberglass and part is over the aluminum tongue. I used a piece of a workout mat (square puzzle like pieces) on top of the aluminum to make the mounting surface even. Then, I simply drilled three holes through the box and through the fiberglass and used some stainless steel bolts to secure the box. I have a piece of yoga mat on the bottom of the box to cover the bolt heads. I’ll try to find some pictures. Here’s a shot of the bolts, the placement was determined by the configuration of the tongue underneath. A blurry shot from underneath the tongue. It doesn’t look like much but it has been very stable over the last 5 years or so.
  15. You’d have been welcomed to do more than ogle! I’ve been surprised at how durable it’s been, especially considering the price. Will be interested in what you do. Mike
  16. Great rally this year! Thanks to Scott Oliver and his staff and the great folks at Lake Guntersville State Park. If you have pictures this is the place to post them! Here’s the sunset from the lodge after Wednesday’s dinner. One of the best rally activities, sitting around talking! Right to left - Scott Oliver, Ken Cvacho, Lee Slusher and Terry Slusher. This group grew as the evening progressed! Trailers with a view of the lake.
  17. Mileage seems about the same, but it sure does feel slick. I’m sure washing will be easier too.
  18. We’ve been through several hail storms. No damage. Even the solar panels withstood the crashing balls of ice. Mike
  19. Yep, that looks like what I have. Thin aluminum and lightweight. You can lock it, but I never do since I don’t carry anything of value in it. I’ve had it longer than I thought, just checked my Amazon orders and I got it in October 2017. It still works fine, no dents or damage, does exactly what I got it for. Mike
  20. I’ve had this on my tongue for 4 or 5 years. Holds all my chocks, blocks, gloves, some tools and 20 big yellow legos. I got it on Amazon, there were several to choose from. It was a little over $100 then.
  21. We didn’t see any other Ollies, so it must have been us!
  22. We’ve been using the AB Lifestyles Oliver sheets for 5 or 6 years now. They have held up very well. They do get softer the more we wash them. We consider it a good investment. Mike
  23. On our way to the rally. We stopped overnight at Rocky Creek COE Campground near Burton, TX. It’s on Somerville Lake, typical COE campground. Sites are nicely spaced. It seems to be popular with boaters, there is a ramp and parking at most sites for a boat and trailer.
