  1. Nope - insulation and/or "stuffing" (as in for furniture) of some sort. Nothing organic. Bill
  2. Yep - still there for me too. I'm using Google Chrome on a home "tower" at the moment. Bill
  3. My 2017 Ford F-150 only has 31,000 miles on it. But, I decided that it was time to replace the cabin air filter and with temperatures in the mid to high 70 yesterday it was just about the perfect day to do this small job. After watching several YouTube videos on the subject, I got out my automobile trim removal tools and a 7mm socket and got to work. Perhaps because this was the first time various parts of the dashboard had been removed it seemed to take a bit more force than I expected to get the trim to "pop" loose. But all went as planned until I removed the old air filter and found this: My first thought was that a rodent was building a nest. But there are no signs of droppings, chew marks or any other of the usual rodent calling cards. In addition, there is no sign of any of this type of "insulation" material anywhere near the dash. My best guess is that it has been there since the truck was built. Given the dirt roads I've been down and the general environments I've camped in, I'm a bit surprised that this filter wasn't even dirtier, but, I'm still very glad that I replaced it. Bill
  4. When you change your last name to Oliver?๐Ÿ˜
  5. I'm guessing that the difference here in the countertops is that one has Fibergranite and Moonlight's does not have fibergranite. If there is no fibergranite then there is nothing held on by Velcro. Bill
  6. In reverse order - I'm not too surprised with your adjustments on your brake controller. Now that things in this regard have "settled down" it is likely that little (if any) further adjustment will be necessary. I'd still keep a strong eye on that Andersen. I've never experienced ANY "settling in" of the bushings (the red things) and really don't see how these would ever "settle in". The only times when I've experienced one chain being slack is when the TV and the Ollie are not in a straight line. However, even a slight deviation from straight can produce a difference in the tension. When you have the Oliver disconnected, can you move the Andersen hitch ball manually? You can usually test this by either reconnecting the whale tail without the chains or by taking the lug wrench that Oliver provided and placing the end of it into the "pin hole" at the bottom of the hitch ball and rotate the hitch ball from side to side - it should be reasonably smooth during this movement. For what its worth - my procedure with my Andersen is exactly as Mike described above. The only times I mess with the large screws under the trailer is when I'm in a situation where I simply can not back the tow vehicle anywhere near the same angle as it was when I unhitched. Even then, I normally will use the lug wrench to manually adjust the whale tail to the proper alignment versus messing with the chain adjustments. Bill
  7. Stranded - Good - apparently it does take a bit of practice in order to get that spin-weld done correctly. If Service doesn't return your call by tomorrow (assuming that you called them on Monday) then I'd call them again or click on Service at the top of this page and submit a Service request via that route. Bill
  8. Stranded - You might want to contact Oliver Service in regards to that fresh water pickup issue. This is a known issue on these campers that were manufactured prior to a change in the plumbing system and Oliver was "repairing" these "older" units at no cost to the owner. Bill
  9. If those legs are not secured to the ground in some manner there will be NO additional "support" for the awning in the event of any wind. Also, if the legs are NOT secured in the fixtures on the side of the trailer when they are in that position then there will be no additional "support" for the awning in the event of wind. Bill
  10. Please let us know what the results are when YOU test this! ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ™ˆ๐Ÿงป
  11. Good to hear that all is going well for the three of you. I got one of those rocking chairs last year and love it - good choice! Bill
  12. That depends - Apparently since the words "we" and "our" were used it appears as though the intended use will be for a couple. If that is the case then in many situations a rug of 6'x9' would be too small. However, for a person that travels solo most of the time a 6'x9' rug is more than enough and is a bunch easier to handle and store. Bill
