getting ready to camp after 2 yrs in storage
topgun2 replied to LindaShields's topic in Introduce Yourself
Good luck on that one - since Michelin doesn't make them for a 16 inch wheel anymore. THAT is the reason that Oliver changed tire manufacturers. Bill p.s. please be very careful on tires of that age - they may look perfect on the outside but you really can not see what's going on inside the tire. -

Rough Ride Tolerance? New Ranger?
topgun2 replied to Wandering Sagebrush's topic in Towing an Oliver
No comment on the tow vehicles but I used to own an Equal-I-Zer WTH. I think that you will find that the Andersen WDH is generally easier to work with and is less "dirty". Besides - it is the only WDH that is compatible with the Oliver. Bill -

Water Heater Anode Rod difficult to screw back in
topgun2 replied to Imelda's topic in Mechanical & Technical Tips
Another "trick" that you can use is to put a dab of paint or one of those "smiley faces" on the front of the anode rod BEFORE you take it out of the heater. Then when you replace the rod you simply tighten it back up such that the "smiley face" or dab of paint is at the same orientation as it was before you took it out.🙂 -
