Since I didn’t do the installation, I don’t have any background on what Victron recommended for the mount. It is mounted horizontally under the driver side bunk, along the aisle. BTW, ours is a 2000W.

Oliver Dealership Network Expands

Today it was reported that defamation cost a well known person $148,000,000. Sometimes there are consequences to untrue statements. -
John, we spent close to 30 years in Canby prior to moving to NE Oregon.

It’s always camping season. Some months the weather may not be to your liking, but it’s always camping season.🥶

I’m gunna guess it’s on McLaughlin Blvd, west side of the road…. maybe a bit north of the Oak Grove area. Time will tell

Certainly, doesn’t everyone?

The Xantrex inverter in our 2018 LEII failed, and was replaced with a Victron by the previous owner. I mentioned this to the RV tech who is readying our new truck to also carry our Northern Lite TC, and he mentioned that they no longer recommended Xantrex because of a high (10%) failure rate.

I don’t see an escalator, how can you camp without an escalator?

Unbearable! 😂😂😂😂 -
John, what are the reasons you want to change to an Anderson connector? Is there an advantage to doing so?

I received a 15’ extension for my Zamp portable solar system, and the invoice header had the word “Dometic” beside Zamp. I don’t know if it really is bad news, but I’m not a fan of large companies buying out the smaller folks.🤷♂️

While I doubt I will ever have another Airstream, I do believe they’re far better than most American RVs. The obvious exception is the Oliver Trailer, in my opinion there is nothing that is a better made trailer.

Bill, thanks! We love it, too. The RV side saves us about $400/mo in storage fees. -

“Boondocking is very appealing to me, not so much for my wife, but she is coming around to it. The composting toilet would be fine for me as well, but my wife would never go for it. She has a tremendous sense of smell which gives her migraine headaches from time to time. ” Jason, I was truly surprised at the lack of smell emanating from our composting toilet. We use coconut coar in the base of the toilet, and the only odor we detect is a slight earthy coconut smell. The toilet fan does a good job of minimizing all odors. Being free of the need (and mess) to dump a black water tank when leaving a campground is a gift. -
Dusty, congratulations on finding your Oliver, and welcome to the clan! Like you we purchased a used Ollie and couldn’t be happier.
