They don't. I asked Hannah about it during delivery, and she said it was a deliberate choice to leave the screen off so that the window can be opened quickly in an emergency.

I camped under some trees this weekend and discovered that the Girard awning, although really nice, is a bit difficult to clean prior to retracting. Most of the awnings I have had previously were easy to clean. Anyone have a hack for this?

In other words, the racks are cheaply built and will not survive the torture from excessive bounce. I can only imagine what would happen in an offroad situation. Ok. So, I will need one that is trailer compatible, has a 1 1/4 hitch, fat-tire, fender and e-bike rated. All under about $600. Great.

This back window is really nice and clear. Opening it is actually easier than any of the sliders. However, I doubt I will ever open it because of bugs in east Texas. The other windows, as you mentioned, and door screen will provide amazing cross ventilation, especially combined with the Maxx air. I imagine a frame could be made to leave the handles out but would need quite a bit of metals fab and foam to keep the pests out.

Why do bike rack manufacturers limit these on trailers? Are they expecting the trailer to have a stiffer suspension causing some shear forces at the hitch?

That looks like a good idea. Does it stay in place like a phone screen protector?

I was like this too, but now I leave it in auto and just check the tank when I know one is getting low. Then I’ll pull it and have it filled. I have the optional 30 gallon tanks on mine.

I guess the vents allow moisture and heat to move easily from the cabin to the closet. Plus, if you leave the light on, then vents glow.

Apparently they decided it didn’t need to be there anymore.

That would be great if there was an electrical outlet in the cabinet. I guess maybe a small Mr. Heater would also work with the vent left open.

This might also provide a good nightlight for those who need it.

I got some photos of the rear window. It is double paned. Looks like the track where a screen could go here: But it is blocked by the handles. The removal of the screen is obviously a safety feature providing access to the big red handles.

Mine is a full pane hinged at the top with no screen ither than the shade that pulls up and down. Im fairly certain it is dual pane but i will check tomorrow.

This is exactly what im doing. The door would stay closed all the time except the bathroom seems to get much colder thannthe rest of the camper. The heat vent doesn’t put out as much air back there.

What is causing the sag? The hinge, the frame or the door itself?

Funny thing about that door. When the light is on in the bathroom, and dark in the camper, the door emits light and glows. The mirror doesn’t allow light through, so it looks like a glowing ring.

That’s a saying I’ve often used. Unfortunately, I have always been an oddball.

I will definitely be keeping an eye on this. Last thing I want is to come back from a nice mountain bike ride and see my tic tac melted into slag.

Mine still has the latch and I haven't noticed the magnets. It doesn't catch or vibrate. The large stainless piano hinge goes from the top to the bottom guaranteeing a long life, and the mirror is full length. Funny thing though, when the light is on in the bathroom and it is dark in the trailer, the door glows around the mirror. Like a halo, or an opening into the multiverse. Don't want to go into that one unannounced though.

They offered it to me when I showed up, but it was too expensive.
