  1. Bill, Isn't that the truth about the service at Oliver? I've never had a bad experience with either the people or the work that they have done. Actually, they have always exceeded what was expected either by the quality or by doing things that were not expected. Really makes one feel good about the decision to purchase the product in the first place. Bill

  2. Canoe, I'll post a picture of the quick disconnect later today. I found a kit at an RV place with the quick disconnect and an 8' hose with the male fitting. I also put on a ball valve to isolate it. I have a Harbor Freight welding table that folds up and an outdoor stove.

  3. Bill, Jason is great to work with on the service side of things. They did a nice job on everything I wanted done and also made improvements free of charge on items I was not aware of. Their service cost is very reasonable, too. Even though we purchased our Ollie used, we have been welcomed into the Oliver Family. We are less than 500 miles from "Mother Ship", is that your term? I normally like to do the majority of the maintenance on stuff we own, but since we are not too far from Oliver, made the decision to let them do more of the maintenance/upgrades I normally do after this last visit. Had a fine discussion with Heather and Anita in Sales, about features non Ollie owners are looking for in a travel trailer that would cause them to consider Oliver. Hats off to Oliver's willingness to make improvements and upgrades based on input from new and experienced camper owners. Couple additional photos taken of OliverTravel Trailers receiving finishing touches on Wednesday earlier this week: Our Ollie is Left and closer unit in this photo:

  4. 200 sounds like a reason to PARTY! I remember hoping that I would NOT get number 113. Bill

  5. I really enjoy the auto cruise that adjusts to the speed of the people ahead of you and then you set the distance behind for yourself. My tv basically drives itself, so if I'm distracted by something, it's making moves on its own to keep me on the road, between the lines or 50' behind the vehicle ahead of me. I've let it stop us at stop lights and then restart again on its own just for fun. It's a little fast at take off from a stop light and I do prefer driving my self but for a car driving itself, it's all good... :)

  9. I still don't see the reason why. If someone joins your Facebook group, then you can contact them. That was supposed to be the point of the group, and you don't need their name to do so. And if someone doesn't want to join the Facebook group, then your having their name and hull number doesn't do anything. You still can't contact them. That is, unless you later ask for their phone number, address, credit card, social security number and name of their first pet. The problem of having private info on Facebook is that (closed group) or not, people you don't know will have access to the info and can repost that info somewhere else or otherwise use it however they want. If someone wants to be mayor of Oliverville, then good for them - go off to Facebook and elect yourself mayor if that's what you need to do. On the other hand, and a bit more charitably, it seems that the people pushing the Facebook group are a few relatively new owners who joined the forum right when it was in the middle of a transition and so maybe got a bad first impression of the place. I'm not an owner yet myself, so count me as one of the scary guests with his (her?) 'complex hidden name'; but I've hung out of the forum for over a year now, and it seems like it does the job it needs to do. So my advice, for what it's worth, is to just chill a bit and if after a while you still feel the need to have your own space, then go for it. But frankly, the fact that you're having to do a little song and dance every few weeks to push for people to join tells me that the need really isn't there.
