  1. Here is my new cutting board, it is lovely and it really brightens the interior. I got this in a very roundabout and unexpected way. DavidS won it at the Oliver Rally, and unfortunately for him it is square and intended for the later (large) sink. He arranged for another narrow one to be shipped from Foy, who told him to find another Oliver owner to give this one to. David reached out to me by PM and told me he wanted me to have it. I offered to pay for the shipping and he would not even let me do that. It is a beautiful accessory, and I am unexpectedly touched by both Foy and David’s actions. Thank you both, I will take care of this board and enjoy its beauty for many years. This Forum really is becoming a large extended family. I enjoy participating, sharing and learning here. Thanks again. John Davies Spokane WA

  2. This thread won't have much How To info, mostly pictures. The two aluminum arms were installed using the same methods described in this thread - refer to that if you have questions. ... http://olivertraveltrailers.com/topic/how-to-stone-stomper-gravel-guard/ Note: The steel subframe should be electrically isolated from the aluminum arms as much as practical. I used stainless hardware and bedded the two parts in a thick layer of 3M 4000 Adhesive Sealant. The flaps are universal ones, 12 inch by 18 inch, that I found at a local ranch supply for $18. The size was perfect, all I had to do was notch the inside to clear the hull. They are this same brand but the embossed pattern is a little different: ... https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B0002MA68M/?coliid=I1N0SYMJAAHKPN&colid=1X5H11EH41351&psc=0&ref_=lv_ov_lig_dp_it I mocked up a flap using cardboard to mark the cutout.

  3. Anyone see theirs? Sixteen behind the factory. Three outside the sales office (300, 302, 333, not pictured). One more Elite just rolled out on the way to the sales office I think.

  4. I like the fittings. But one came off in my hand while setting up in the dark one evening. And most Allen wrench sets don’t have the 1/2 inch size. I tightened mine up and put a tool in my box to tighten them up should it happen again. I’d rather have a tool and not need it than need it and not have it.

  5. First, a big thanks to John E Davies for helping me think about this problem. Our 2017 Elite II, Hull #227 was one of the first to get the larger rims and tires standard which are great but, when I added on the E-Z Flex Suspension System as an option, the geometry of the wheel fender changed and is off-center now. It's worth checking your clearance if you have not noticed this before. Or as John points out it might just be my Trailer. [attachment file=Oliver Fender.jpg] The bigger rims & tries with the E-Z Flex push the entire wheel assembly forward and out of center in the fender wells. What this does is put the tire less then 2″ from the fiberglass. I have already had to replace one fender do to the tire hitting it and tearing the whole fender off. [attachment file=Tire and Fender.jpg] At the time, Oliver thought I must have picked up something from the road that caused the damage. They did replace it and charged me their cost. It was not until I was clean the rims that I noticed the clearance issue. In pointing this out to Jason with photos, he agreed and refunded my money. Solid customer service! Got to say I love Oliver and how they stand behind their work. Jason told me they were working on a new fender and would let me know. While I have not heard back on this, I showed this to Scott Oliver at the Rally and he had not seen it before. The trip to Lake Guntersville has this starting to happen again on both sides. I am going to Hohenwald in June and will see if I can get them to address it. Hope this is helpful to others.

  7. In keeping with the "tools you may not necessarily think of" theme, I'm adding a 1/2" Allen wrench to the list. http://olivertraveltrailers.com/topic/check-your-hose-attachment-fittings/#post-134672 I have an Allen set that goes that large but was definitely not planning on adding it to the Ollie toolbox until I read that thread.

  8. You are correct we have LT225/75R16. Some that rules out tires. Maybe the location on the frame where the axel assembly was mounted?

  9. Sharp eyes on the E lock. I didn't notice that until now. Yes we did order those options as well.

  10. Foy, Looks like tires in your photos (using thick reading glasses) are LT225/75R16, same as our Ollie. One difference with our Ollie, Hull #75 has 5200lb axles with 5 leaf springs. I installed our EZ flex system.

  11. Same size on Hull #75 LT225/75R16 BF Goodrich Commercial TA tires with EZ flex. Here's a calculator for tire size comparison: https://tiresize.com/comparison/

  12. Our 2014 (hull # 050) came with Michelin XPS RIB LT225/75R16’s. What is the current standard tire size?

  13. These are the same fittings that Oliver has been using since 2008. The fitting is designed to come apart apparently so you can replace the outer assembly without removing the entire fitting.

  14. Thanks for this info Bill! I was not aware these came apart. Guess I will need to carry a bolt now on top of everything else. :-)

  15. Looking at the EZ Flex I don't understand how it changed the geometry. The front mounting point is the same. I see how the larger tires are a problem if things are not centered.
