The 2020 Oliver Travel Trailer Owners’ Rally will be held Thursday, May 14 thru Sunday, May 17, 2020. Once again, the Oliver Travel Trailer Owners’ Rally will be held at Lake Guntersville State Park, located in Guntersville, AL The cost for the 2020 rally will be in two parts: the rally registration costs (mostly rally meals), and the campground registration costs. At this time, we are working to lower the rally registration costs. We will announce the costs after we have adaquate sponsorship. We will be working with Oliver and the vendors to have rally sponsorship to reduce attendee costs. We do, however, know that campground cost is going to be $24.00/night (or $14.00/night for a boon docking spot). Camping Reservations –(256) 571-5455 For the 2020 rally, all the Oliver Travel Trailer Owners will need to call the campground and reserve their campsites for the dates that you want. They will ask for a one-night deposit of $24.00 (or $14.00 for boon docking). When you arrive at the campground for the 2020 rally, you will pay for your remaining nights in the campground. And then in a few weeks, when we finalize the rally costs, we will all need to call the Lodge to make rally reservations and pay for the rally costs. We will give you the exact rally costs as soon as we know. Thanks to everyone that attended the 2019 Rally. A big THANKS to all of the great volunteers. Fun was had by all, we learned much from each other and we are now better campers as a result of our rally. I look forward to seeing you next year. One had to be impressed with Ritchie and his team, the Oliver support staff, and others, working from customer to customer, repairing, fixing, explaining - looking for people to please - I am not aware of ANY other RV manufacturer that supports the customer at this high level. I appreciate the Oliver community - my rv is just one part of my ownership experience/ And while I am at it - Bill the tech from Dexter, not only put on a good, informative presentation, but could be seen working hours later - actually assisting Oliver owners with their axle issues. Truly impressive. For the unfortunate folks that were not able to attend the event, you just had to be there - oh - and some of you were - in our thoughts-------all on good measure. But I doubt a rally held in any other venue - say a western or far northern local - could be supported to such a high level as the Guntersville event. Doesn't mean it wouldn't be fun and worthwhile, just - almost impossible to achieve. And lastly - to the folks who put in the many hours planning and then executing a well run rally - JOB WELL DONE! And just think, not an ounce of liability was incurred. That's what helping family (be it personal or extended) is all about. Never turn your back on a person in need, for it may well be you sometime down some lonely forest road...8 points

And that is what makes being an Oliver owner feel special - a cut above. Oliver and its customers understand and value each other - all to rare in our current cultural environment.6 points

Update: Our fellow Forum member has been discharged from the hospital, they have obtained a campsite in Chattanooga and are presently resting in their Ollie. A huge THANKS goes out to Rick & Vickie, KountryKamper, and, Oliver Service Department for all the help in marshalling resources and generating options for this situation. It truly is a great "Oliver Family" we all belong to. Bill6 points

We also want to thank all the Oliver staff and other volunteers for the extraordinary efforts put forth at the Rally. We had a terrific time and learned a TON! Wishing everyone continued safe travels....we're getting closer to our home in Montana...here's a pic of a quick stop at a rest area on I-90 near Badlands National Park in South Dakota (Brrrr!! It's cold out here right now....we were getting used to the mid-80's at Lake Guntersville!!!)4 points

I am so glad the owner is doing better and recouping in their Ollie Home. I am also so happy to hear that help was available and many stepped up to give aid. Oliver does indeed go above and beyond for their family. Well done to all those who helped an "Ollie sibling".4 points

Point taken Overland. lol I'm sure that some other name will come to mind. Regardless, this shakedown has really impressed me. I used to take Olivers claim to 4 season camping with a grain of salt but now I can hit my "I believe" button. This unit is a great platform for full timing as a couple as long as you adopt a minimalist mindset and lifestyle.2 points

Well, it certainly would not fit in most of the places I go, and it needs better graphics......2 points

Try changing the Furrion stero input to AV IN and turn up the volume and it should work.2 points

Thank you Townesw for starting this post. My Chevy 2500 could stand one of these. I suppose they can be made in different lengths. I have a toolbox/60gal fuel tank in my bed. I also carry 50gal of fresh water with me so knowing that these drawers can support a load is very important to me. Additional storage is a plus.2 points

OOPS! In my post above I failed to mention a couple of VERY important people that that never seemed to fail to stop and listen or shake a hand. They seemed to be everywhere and always had a smile of their faces. Thanks to Scott and his son Shane for both your financial and moral support to the Rally and all of the Owners of your fine camper. Everything looks to be going well. Going to have a local semi-truck axle, trailer outfit fix the axles and, just like you suggest, it is most likely going back to Oliver to be gone over. Jason and the Oliver crew have been good in this matter, just a bit delayed insurance (normal) and being occupied by the rally, which is just a timing thing. I look forward to it being back to mint condition and am glad that it looks like Oliver will do the fiberglass work and check over any other work. Appreciate all the good advice from everyone.2 points

Fellow Oliver Owners: Interested in camping outside Yellowstone at the Yellowstone Edge RV Park? It's a premium park, 30 miles outside Yellowstone NP on the Yellowstone River. There is an open spot from 30 May to 6 June if you call pretty quick. I booked these about 11 months ago, so it may be a good opportunity for ya'all. Due to the left two wheels flying off my Ollie and subsequent repairs, etc., the trailer won't be repaired for a few weeks, minimum. So, this lovely RV park, comes highly recommended from my awesome Aunt Linda, has openings. One closed door may open some camping opportunities for one of ya'all. I have cancelled my reservation 30 minutes ago and got a partial refund, so i'm just offering this up, as camping around Yellowstone this quickly, at such a nice RV park is kinda rare. The opening may fill up quickly, I don't know. They have full hook-ups and super nice bathrooms and laundry. Cool, thanks, Lanham2 points
