We will be at Hanna Park in 10 days and maybe can recommend some campsites that we see that are good. Would love to have been able to make the Oct 15th, but that is real near peak fall color in the Smokies and we will be at our cabin!. Hanna Park is a great place!2 points

I'd personally use a bit of silicon spray vs wd40, but, yes. Lubing could help. We've never done anything with ours , that I can remember.2 points

Probably too late now but putting a WD-40 or rust remover on the balls and moving thme with a screw driver or other tool would loosen them up so they work fine. Try it and save the pins for spares.2 points

Thanks guys, Good sources. Since my pins were frozen due to corrosion (north west costal salt air) I ordered the hi-grade 18-8 stainless. OUCH!! VERY SPENDY!! they cost more than the pins you had marked. Hopefully getting the good stuff will prove to be a good value long term. They are on order from McMaster-Car.2 points

We really liked our RV Sleep Sack. It is a king size sleeping bag with velcro in sheets. Very comfortable. It has a summer and winter side. It works well if you want to break the bed down. Just fold it up and stick it at the head of the bed and your dinette area is open.2 points

Varies by state and coverage, and like most, you are probably limited to coverage by your primary carrier as most don't want to insure just the trailer by itself...but pretty reasonable rate depending on deductible and whether ACV or Agreed Value coverage. Given the market value of an Oliver, vs Book, I'd be sure you have an Agreed Value clause in the contract in case of a total loss. Would mean the difference between getting $35K and $55K+.1 point

Calling all Oliver owners near and far. We love Katherine Hanna Park. Camping under old-growth live oaks and access to a mile of wonderful beachfront is just a magical camping experience. We are planning the Second Mini Oliver Rally at Hanna Park this October 15th through October 18th. A Fish Fry meet & greet, lunch on the beach, and dinner in town to close it all out. If that sounds fun, we’d love to have you join us. Details to follow... Onward, Foy & Mirna Sperring1 point

Lornie and I have owned our LEII for a year and have traveled quite a bit with our two cats (and our dog). We have the standard floor plan and we ordered the optional inside access hatch to the outside rear storage compartment without really knowing whether we would ever use it. We quickly discovered we could place the cat litter box in the back storage area (i.e., outside the living space of the trailer) and leave the inside access hatch open to the storage area. Cats go in and out to use it and as a bonus, only kick litter into the storage area and not onto the trailer floor. Less odor as well. Works perfect for us. When we ordered our LEII, the inside access hatch option was only available on the standard floor plan but that may have changed.1 point

My 2021 Elite II was equipped with the Zamp Solar Option, wth standard, no extra cost Brightway FLA batteries ( 2), no inverter. I sold them shortly after delivery on FB Marketplace and replaced with 2 BattleBorn 100AH. I don’t think Oliver offers these options for 2022. I’m very pleased with performance of system so far, boondocking most of the time.1 point

Their website is most user-friendly, I think. You can define diameter and useable length/grip. A little more expensive, but definitely easier to use Plus, I trust their specs I've also used fastenal, locally, for hard to find fasteners and hardware.1 point

I attended the Non Rally last week and thought I would list, (not in any order) what I saw/learned from all the Oliver Guys/Gals I met. I made my list, starting on day one of things I thought would be of value to me, maybe others also. I don't have pictures of each of these, but maybe the "Guilty Parties" could follow up. On a personal note, I did experienced a Flat Tire on my TV, which needed a new tire. Also had an Andersen Hitch Link failure, which I'll cover separately. The Gas Shortage wasn't a big deal, but I did see several Stations that limited purchases. My list: 1. Reflective Red/Silver Tape on the lower parts of their Oliver, like you would see on a Semi Trailer, to improve visibility at night. Great Idea! 2. Motion Detector Lights mounted on all 4 sides of the trailer, I liked this idea to improve security. 3.Andersen Hitch Pin Handle, available from Tractor Supply, 8000 lbs capacity. This replaces the "Bat Wing Pin" and greatly assists in pulling the Pin in/out. 4. Mount a Level on the Front Basket or front of the trailer, that is visible in the TV's Back up Camera to assist in leveling (side-side). This tell you when you are level, without having to get out of the TV and checking several times. 5. Umbrella Storage PVC Tube mounted inside the door. 6. Entry Door Clear Window Kit, I go to add this. 7. Bed Mattresses, KTT or Southern or just Cushions, I am still on the fence! 8. Screen Door Towel Bar, of course. 9. Andersen Hitch Chains, Link or Dog Bone connectors? 10. Trailer Jack to change a Flat Tire. 11. Reverse the Window Shades to improve privacy! I've already done this! 12. Extra Back-Up Lights mounted on Back Bumper of the trailer. I likes this idea and plan on adding these. 13. Business Cards, great to exchange when you meet people. 14. LPG, Fire Pit. both Outland and Heiinger offer them. No wet wood to try to get to burn! 15. Apple/Sirius Radio added to the Oliver, must have. 16. Apparently the 2021 Olivers have added an extra 3 way Switch, in the lower Panty Cabinet to turn on/off the Courtesy lights, nice addition. Overall, the Non Rally was a big success, I understand there were 28 Olivers in attendance, very nice time. I look forward to next year's Rally!1 point

Thank you for replying to my question. It really was helpful. I might be able to tweak the sheets, but I am no seamstress. I bet yours are beautiful. The info regarding the memory gel topper is very helpful.1 point

I have this part bookmarked from another thread, but looking at it, this isn’t the right size (mine measure ⅜” dia x 3” usable length). But it might be a good starting point for you - https://www.amazon.com/dp/B002GPHTCO/?coliid=I2Y5QJ660U7Z3K&colid=31WMH4OIBNQFP&psc=1&ref_=lv_ov_lig_dp_it If you do find the right part, please post a link; I need to order a few myself. Edit - this looks like a pretty good source: https://www.mcmaster.com/stainless-steel-quick-release-hitch-pins/ The full stainless ones aren’t at all cheap, but hopefully you’d only have to buy them once.1 point

Arrived safe. Pulling the Daughters 24 ft square as a box trailer home for them in the move back to Tonasket WA and it was a perfect wind storm to remind me of Oliver’s aerodynamic shape. Also got lucky today and saw a very cool graphic on our second Ollie sighting. Hwy 20 it was heading East up Lolo pass heading into the Okanogan Valley. Real cool front logo that was Native in origin. Maybe like a ceremonial mask. Went by fast but effect was cool. Mike1 point
