Even without any details of how this occurred, its clear Olivers are built pretty tough. Interesting to see that it appears that even the windows survived. Any other SOB stick built would likely be just a trailer frame left. 🤔 Our hopes are that no one was injured.5 points

If you are ever in the area, do not miss out on the breakfast at the Sea Shop/Gull Diner right next to the Pemaquid Lighthouse. We had to try their blueberry short stack. The eggs Benedict and cornbeef hash was also excellent. Amazing eats for sure! We got to XPLOR one of the few sandy beaches on the coast of Maine. (Pemaquid Beach) We love the shoulder months for traveling. The large crowds are gone and it’s like having campground or beach all to ourselves. Peaceful and quiet. IMG_4072.mov4 points

Fairly simple - left click on the person's avatar that you want the private message (PM) to go to. That person's Forum personal page will come up on your screen - look for the "message" blue button in the center of the page (hint - it is in the photo if they have one). left click on that "message" button and type your message. Don't forget to left click on the "send" button at the bottom of the message page. You are done.2 points

Surprising to hear of 3 of these incidents when they have only made ~1700. Still only a .17% rate but they tow so well. Context on why is helpful, as reaching down for a phone while towing and losing control has very little to do with the trailer.2 points

A new contender in the fiberglass RV market for the US: Awaken RV -https://share.google/Zzpg4orVpsEvoSdpL Nice looking exterior. Good call Steve! I found the spec on this unit at 1760 watts. We run our 1500W Emeril Air Fryer all the time (installed in place of the OEM microwave). With a 3KW inverter and ample LiFePO4 SOC you're good. @Dennis and Melissa My only issue with cookers like this is storage space. At 17" L x 14" W x 11" H it will take up the entire space under the front dinette seat or more room in your TV once you store it in a case. Chris keeps a pressure cooker under the front dinette seat. A wonderful device, pot roast in a half hour, yet only about 8" dia and 10" tall. She also keeps dog food down there and several other cooking accessories.1 point

If you want to help prevent gel coat in the wheel well area, consider a white truck bedliner 'paint'. That stuff is almost indestructable1 point

We have 2 different TVs with our current first choice a 2023 F150 with a max tow factory package rated at 14K tow/1400 tongue (over 500 use WD hitch). I added air lift at the rear for minor leveling and have had no issues with this set for 2 years. When I had a 3/4T F250, did not use WD hitch. WD is anderson (2 5/16 ball). I try to not to exceed 50% of tow rating of equipped vehicle.1 point

Sorry in the delay getting back we have been crazy busy and haven’t had a chance to reply. We were also thinking of using the basement for the litter box. We plan to do a one night camping trip soon and bring him along he is only 7 weeks and is just starting to use his litter box with less accidents. We have been driving him around in the car to get him used to it and so far he seems to like going for a ride. Thanks for all you help. Bill Nancy and Eli1 point

Green Lakes State Park near Syracuse. Home base when visiting our son and his family. They have a range of different site types, hookups or not. The lakes are the big draw. They're actually green in color because "they are meromictic lakes, meaning their waters don't mix, and high concentrations of calcium carbonate suspended in the water column reflect green light wavelengths."1 point

We're about 15 minutes from Cave Creek Regional park. Great area and close to downtown Cave Creek which is fun. I just paid for the 5k axels from Alcan, so my name will be on a pair and I scheduled a stay about an hour away for the night before my install. My wife will be out of town the days I drive up to Grand Junction, so it'll be myself and my little buddy Benny (our Maltese). I'll have to take a couple days off work to do this trip, but it's the best timing I could come up with. About 9 hours each way. After watching the Truma guy install the water heater, I think the next AC project I'll do myself. The water heater looked pretty simple to install and hook up. Nothing I couldn't have done myself. The Tosot and Greenland seem like good options. Right now the Tosot is about $1000 shipped to my door. The Truma quote was over $3000. I won't be going that route 🙂1 point

When I did my factory tour before buying my Oliver, they had an Elite II that had flipped and was being repaired. They told me the owners had towed it to Oliver for the repairs.1 point

Check out the hitch. Either the stock hitch broke during the accident or it was changed prior. Where is this located?1 point

When we took delivery of our #1403 Elite in mid June of 2023 there was another Elite inside the gates that had been rolled and it was like looking at an absolute disaster. It did not disintegrate as a stick built would have but it was bad. The entire trailer was wrapped up up in plastic. We were told that the guy had dropped his cell phone and was reaching to retrieve it.0 points
