I have towed our 2022 Ell with a 2014 and now 2019 3.5L eco boost. Both trucks XLT with tow package. The 2014 had a 6.5' bed and the 2019 has a 5.5' bed. Both tow the Oliver easily. We live in Ohio and have towed it to Alabama (rally), Miss, Tenn, KY and WV camping and have had zero issues. Payload was a learning curve at first but after loading and unloading stuff we never "used" vs stuff we take "in case" it became easier. I think the only issue with the Powerboost and some other options would be less payload capacity. We are looking to move to a 3/4 or 1 ton truck this year to accommodate more extended trips. Getting away from the Anderson Hitch is a bonus for me, lol. Scott

On the Oliver home page under the "resources" drop down is the "annual rally". It has the address, dates, and when registration will open or if it is open you can register. Scott

2025 Rocky Mountain Fiberglass Rendezvous
Shawna and Scott replied to bill s.'s topic in Events & Rallies
Not sure I can make it this year but it is definitely something we want to attend. If not this year then in 2026. -
This link is an old link but something similar just not as "techy" was tried. Maybe something this simple to start? https://olivertraveltrailers.com/forums/topic/2235-third-party-maintenance-facilities/

Alternative Front Storage Basket
Shawna and Scott replied to Just Joe's topic in Ollie Modifications
I don't have a generator box, just a rubber maid container to put my chocks and stuff in that goes into the front tray/box Oliver provided. I was just putting an option out for others who visit this thread as I mentioned I know several who have the products from Sea Biscuit. Everyone's needs and budgets are different. -

Sea Biscuit Metal Designs has generator boxes that are enclosed specifically designed for Oliver TT along with other accessories. I know a lot of owners have them. -
Congrats on all the promotions and welcome to the new folks!! Look forward to meeting everyone. I did meet the "new" Jason (lol) when we had some work completed recently at the mothership.

We purchased an Ignik Refillable propane tank THIS a few years back and just love it. We use it alot on the blackstone, portable firepit etc. Takes up almost no room and is refillable. Other options are out there and many are more economical but this one has been one of our best additions,

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone !!

Prayers go out to everyone impacted by this awful storm. I'm thankful that folks on here are ok and safe. We will be praying for those in NC/TN/VA/GA I just returned from Augusta Georgia where they felt the fury of this storm also. It is hard to describe what it looks like and the amount of damage. This is a link to a story CNN did about Augusta and it happens to be my daughters family. https://www.cnn.com/2024/10/03/us/augusta-family-hunkers-in-bathtub/index.htm Our family is safe thankfully, it could have been worse and I know it was worse for other families in this storm.

Winston and Brandi had the Red Oliver at the 2023 Rally.

Ohio usually has electric or non-electric sites with places through out the park that you can get water. Also there are usually sites with no electric hookups if that is what you are looking for.

Congrats and welcome. Safe Travels

There are several folks and some threads on here about adding additional fans for the Norcold to help with cooling. That mod is not very expensive (under $100) and has helped considerably for the cooling problems. I have purchased some fans and will e installing them before we head out soon for some trips.

Tested my head bumper out the first trip out - Oliver campground 1st night... lol I have to say I remember it every time now when exiting.

Power Stations - Worthwhile?
Shawna and Scott replied to Wandering Sagebrush's topic in General Discussion
We have a Jackery explorer 1000 and plan to use it with our Truma portable refrigerator along with running some items during any power outages we might have at home. I have yet to use it camping but it has been handy around the farm. -
Not what I was hoping to hear. We live in a rural area and have been using a line of sight solution where a Cooperative put dishes on cell towers. They installed one on my barn and works very well, only $60 a month, unlimited and I see speeds in the 80-90 GB down and 8-10DB up. Hate to have to use at home to make use of the mini.

@Patriot This is very interesting and probably made us wait on more information. We were ready to pull trigger on Gen 3 but will wait a little longer now. Thanks for the update!! Scott

Are there any modifications needed to attach to the Oliver? When I questioned about upgrading to the Truma I was told that it needed a platform to sit on, available thru Oliver. Other fiberglass work was involved.
