All good points Max. Just maybe if Alcan gets more orders and sales on board of the Oliver 5 spring pack they will consider increasing their warranty past 90 days. ๐๐ป๐ Based on the very low number of leaf spring failures a spare is likely the way forward for us. Especially that we recently had Oliver install the new 5200# never lube axles and all new shocks, springs and EZ flex installed last Oct. The good news is the 2 owners I know of older OLE2s with original Oliver installed 5 leaf packs have never had a failure. You gotta do you! ๐ Cheers and Onward! Patriot๐บ๐ธ

A beauty Max, Nice work.

If anyoneโs custom shop is that good there should be no reason why they canโt stand behind their product ๐ฏ% with a very solid 3-5 year warranty. Mike at Alcan told me he has been in business 40 years and they have never had a broken leaf spring returned. A 90 day warranty is honestly laughable on custom suspension leaf springs costing over $700.00. Agree with @CRM stand behind your product if itโs as good as stated. Gotta have some skin in the game and up the warranty. Just an observation.

You sir are on point ๐ฏ.

@CRM yes, I agree. Mike seems like a super nice guy while speaking with him on the phone yesterday. He is proud of his company and products. Per my notes from yesterday, Mike quoted me $742.68 plus a $75.00 shipping (estimate) to my zip code via UPS. Seems a little bit of a price increase from what @MAX Burner buyers order/receipt quote shows. I presently have a 5 yr or 100k warranty on my new 5200# axles and leaf springs through dexter. I think I will stay in a holding pattern for now.

Hey Max, I spoke to Mike at Alcan yesterday and asked him several questions and also what his warranty is on these leaf packs? He said 90 days. Just passing this along for anyone interested in these leaf packs.

In looking at this and keeping all things in perspective, Oliver has now produced 1500 plus trailers and a smaller percentage of these being Elite 1 models. If my quick math is correct it tells me that the leaf spring failure rate of letโs say (10 trailers) as noted by @ScubaRx is approximately less than 1% or 0.67%. Of course no one wants this type of failure ever. I will wait and see what Oliver recommends or if they put out a safety bulletin. I feel sure Oliver will address this issue given the safety concerns. Following.

Well done super clean finish and install! ๐๐ป -
Agree Max! I use the rings and installed custom cut 1/4โ rubber mat on the tank floor to keep it looking purdy.๐๐ป

John, haha! Love your plan, we are on the same plan! ๐ I agree and use pretty much the same plan. On our 42 day 6000 mile trip last fall out west we topped off one tank 3X during the trip and again when we arrived home. Never a concern of being out of LP. We have 30# tanks and never ran into any issues getting a refill. We donโt swap tanks on refills for many reasons. We also never got into our second tank. We donโt use tank sensors. Based on our use, I donโt see the need for LP sensors along with the added frustration of reading about the failures and complaints. Hang On to your hat in Amarillo, thatโs a windy place. You and Wendy go enjoy a big steak at the Big Texan! Safe travels and hope to see you both at the rally! David & Kathy

Just some feedback on this faraday fob pouch I recently purchased. It works as described. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01H1C21O2?SubscriptionId=AKIAIBX4MGJBG42TO3NQ&tag=productsbestrv144763-20&asc_source=google&asc_campaign=077&asc_refurl=https%3A%2F%2Fbestreviews.com%2Fbest-key-fob-faraday-bag&#customerReviews

This surely is a milestone. Great work Oliver!

An interesting and neat looking storage area. How much does the new storage box and mounting system weigh and how much weight will you be able to safely carry in the box? Thanks!
-
Yes, gotta remove those speakers. ๐๐ป

@NomadLife thanks for posting, let us know how your shake down of that mod works out. It appears to be a very solid mounting set up.

Those chain sleeves really clean up the appearance of the Andersen chains as well. I had the Ollie Andersen WDH on my when towing with my former Tundra and like the sleeves well they looked sano!๐๐ป๐ Just a thought Max!
