  1. Great info, thanks for posting!
  2. Those chain sleeves really clean up the appearance of the Andersen chains as well. I had the Ollie Andersen WDH on my when towing with my former Tundra and like the sleeves well they looked sano!๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป๐Ÿ˜Š Just a thought Max!
  3. Bill, Yes, and your welcome!
  4. Casablanca really looks great, nice work Max! Consider adding this cable sleeve to your Andersen chains for a super sano look, you will thank me later. ๐Ÿ˜Š https://www.amazon.com/dp/B007VT09LS/?coliid=I105IRZOA4AD9&colid=28S7M1ANYVGFK&ref_=list_c_wl_lv_ov_lig_dp_it&th=1
  5. Review as promised: Mission Darkness I just received and tested this faraday keyfob shield/pouch, it works as advertised. I could not unlock my truck or car door with each of the respective fobs in the pouch. The pouch appears durable and very well made from a ballistic nylon. It also has a robust nylon loop which allows for a key ring to be attached. When I lock my door on my TV or our car from the inside door armrest console I donโ€™t use the fob. When unlocking my truck I can use the push button code on the door pillar by passing the fob. On our car we can use the physical key and not the fob to unlock the door keeping the fob signal protected. I guess at the end of the day its only $15 to protect the fob signal. I am all in for risk mitigation. ๐Ÿ˜Š For times such as these. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01H1C21O2?SubscriptionId=AKIAIBX4MGJBG42TO3NQ&tag=productsbestrv144763-20&asc_source=google&asc_campaign=077&asc_refurl=https%3A%2F%2Fbestreviews.com%2Fbest-key-fob-faraday-bag&#customerReviews
  6. ๐Ÿ’ฏon point Chris, I agree.
  7. Bill, I have a locker down console vault and when I placed my spare key fob inside the vault, the truck started normally. I post this to only point out the console vault will not ghost the RF signal. My faraday pouches should arrive today. I will post up my review.
  8. I have heard the empty altoid peppermint boxes last longer than the cinnamon.๐Ÿ˜„ Please post up your findings.
  9. Bill, I will be interested to hear your review. David
  10. With most of us having a substantial amount of money wrapped up in our TVs, I thought this gentlemanโ€™s testimony in his short YouTube vid might be of interest. If anyone is using a faraday pouch for your fob or iPhones please post up with what youโ€™re using. Due to the larger size of my TV fob I opted for this pouch. I will post up my review when I receive it. I am interested in our groups thoughts, suggestions and ideas. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01H1C21O2?SubscriptionId=AKIAIBX4MGJBG42TO3NQ&tag=productsbestrv144763-20&asc_source=google&asc_campaign=077&asc_refurl=https%3A%2F%2Fbestreviews.com%2Fbest-key-fob-faraday-bag&#customerReviews
  11. Bill, Here are a few very concerning open source reviews of Good Sam RSA coverage. As one Good Samโ€™s coverage owner said. โ€œIt sounds great when you sign up, but in the real world not so muchโ€. Hopefully you will never have this type of experience for the cash laid out for RSA from Good Samโ€™s. I considered GS RSA until I read several reviews. I realize that GS is relying and at the mercy of contract towing and mobile Rv techs. Sadly it appears GS is falling short of customer expectations in many ways. I hope you never need to use GS RSA and if you do your experience is better than the below reviews. https://www.consumeraffairs.com/automotive/good-sam-roadside-assistance.html https://www.bbb.org/us/co/englewood/profile/roadside-assistance/good-sam-enterprises-llc-1296-75000910/complaints https://www.irv2.com/forums/f59/good-sam-roadside-assistance-597037.html
  12. @MAX Burner Thanks for your reply! ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป I just called USAA about RSA on our car and two trucks and also spoke to Progressive about our RSA coverage for our Oliver. I was informed by both providers that a claim for Roadside Assistance would not cause our premiums to increase for the type of policies we have. USAA also said we would not loose our long standing policy discounts. cheers!
  13. You bet Dave! Just passing it forward. ๐Ÿ˜Š
  14. Here is a little interesting information on car insurance and what can happen if you use your roadside assistance. It might be worth asking your provider what happens if you decide to use your roadside assistance? Is it considered a claim under your current auto policy? The devil is certainly in the details. https://clark.com/insurance/car-insurance/roadside-assistance/?fbclid=IwAR02oGvp3QfVch9vp8Ys8dvzKWH30fZ3Pr1XWSsBS9H-BwGeVFd-fSxeYas
  15. Gerry, Wishing you all the best with your new rig! And glad your going to still hang out here on the forum. What did you decide to roll with in a new rig? Patriot๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ
  16. Here ya go..and thanks for compiling the list.
  17. @MAX Burner @Wandering Sagebrush Thanks gents. My bride aka navigator and I are happy with how it turned out. Your kind words are appreciated!
  18. Awesome feed back and report on your install. All very helpful should we decide to move forward with SL. I am looking forward to your further updates. I like your idea of a lower profile on really windy days. And no apologies, I felt sure you wanted a little more field experience before posting up. Great mod and thanks Max Burner! Patriot๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ
  19. After some thought of how little we used our 3200i generator in the cargo tray on our last 42 day trip out west, we decided to move forward with a custom all aluminum cargo/storage box from Sea Biscuit metal fabrication shop. My wife and I took a 3 hr drive up to Johnson City, Tenn and visited the Sea Biscuit metal fabrication shop. We met David and Kristine Hess the owners. Some of the nicest folks you will ever meet, and they are campers as well. After seeing the high quality of the Oliver storage boxes that David and his team craft we decided to purchase one. The fit and finish is excellent. We like supporting small companies and their products made right here in the USA ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ. We know we will get a lot more use from our cargo box each time we set up camp. It has lots of room for all things for initial set up. Our gen will be secured in the truck bed. I custom ordered and installed the XPLOR metallic silver graphics from https://lettering.com/ another excellent customer service experience. Had a buddy of mine install XPEL PPF on the front and sides of the box as it sits in the road rash blast zone. For questions on custom boxes and pricing reach out to -https://seabiscuitmetaldesigns.com/product/oliver-box/ a few photos - PPF - I bought and trimmed a fatigue mat to fit from HF to line the shelf and bottom. Added graphics- Moose rack holds our cables off the ground. Plenty of storage for all initial set up gear- XPLOR graphics installed-
  20. Great report Bill. I have always had a prompt reply from Oliver Service. Given how busy they can get on any given day I am grateful for the service team Oliver has in place. The service ticket system really works well in my experience.
  21. I will chime in. I believe @MAX Burner is referring to the torque value of the nut that tightens the wet bolt. Comonly referred to as wet bolts due to having a grease zerk on the end. https://www.etrailer.com/Trailer-Leaf-Spring-Suspension/Redline/34007-187-00.html
  22. We attended the Charlotte RV show today and specifically asked the owner of Bumgarner RV who is now selling and servicing Olivers if they would accept a trade in on a new Oliver? Shannon Bumgarner the owner said yes that he would accept a trade in on a new Oliver. We have absolutely have no interest in selling or trading our Oliver. I just thought it was interesting to know that our local Oliver dealer will take a trade in.
  23. My bride and I had the opportunity to attend the Charlotte, NC 2024 RV show. Bumgarner Camping Center based in Lenoir, North Carolina had two 2024 Legacy Elite lls on site. It was really nice to see and talk with Shannon Bumgarner, owner of Bumgarner Camping Center and OTT Sales and Service Director Rodney Lomax. There was a really large crowd in attendance and a lot of people checking out the Olivers. There was not another camper that we had any interest in. So glad we have our Oliver.๐Ÿ˜Š https://olivertraveltrailers.com/events/charlotte-nc-rv-show/?gad_source=1&gclid=CjwKCAiA8NKtBhBtEiwAq5aX2OzzjFR7exvNfjhQVdyiXRKuwXvwV5RBk6Z5DOXEW4PEarfBrcvl5hoCWyEQAvD_BwE A few photos of the Oliver trailers, Rodney, my bride and co pilot Kathy and me. We had a really nice time. A random pic of the Lithionics NeverDie battery configuration.

  24. I like this no drill option bed slide offered by Ford for the Super Duty. Itโ€™s advertised that the slide frame work uses the existing bed mounts to secure the base frame. I may do a deeper info dive on this 1500# capacity slide option. Any forum Super Duty owners using this bed slide? If so please post up your thoughts. https://accessories.ford.com/super-duty-2018-2021-bed-slide-for-6-75-bed-1
