That is correct. The Truma Aventa 13.5 BTU AC requires a 3000W gen. Presently per the Truma rep I spoke with a soft start is not available. The rep also said Truma is supposedly looking at a soft start solution.

@Geronimo John There is no longer a For Sale or Classifieds section allowing an owner to sell an Oliver on this forum. It was recently shut down by Oliver Admin on Oct 20. Here - https://olivertraveltrailers.com/forums/19-classifieds/ Patriot🇺🇸

I learned the 2024’s will not have touch lights they will have lights that use an on off switch to operate the light per OTT service. Patriot🇺🇸

The only challenge I see with the shade installation is when you need to replace the touch lights (and you will) you are likely going to have to remove the shade and re-tape and reinstall. Other than that it looks like a nice mod. I would go with white PVC. 👍🏻

Hi John, I will chime in here. Back on Oct 20, I asked Jason about torquing my SS lugs he advised they were torqued to 110 foot lbs. I checked the torque on my lugs upon returning home from OTT (all good) and they were at 110 foot lbs. Hope this helps. Safe Travels!

When I had my Oliver serviced on Oct 20th, Oliver had no concerns about the SS lugs I mentioned I was using. I feel sure if there was a safety issue or concern service would have thrown a caution flag. All good. All said its just nice to have options. I prefer SS over chrome plated. Glad to hear your results and hopefully you will never have an issue with the OEM set cracking/peeling off. 👍🏻

Very well done! A very clean looking install! 👍🏻👍🏻

Same here, zero issues. 👍🏻

Per a previous post and very solid recommendation by @ScubaRx I ordered and installed these SS lugs last June. I carry a torque wrench and I too check torque specs while traveling. On our most recent 42 day 6000 mile trip out west all lugs maintained their proper torque setting. https://www.ebay.com/itm/144965685434

On our recent 6000 mile 42 day trip this Atlas served us extremely well along with our Garmin 890RV.

@Geronimo John I do not have the black tank valve in my 2020, I believe it was discontinued by Oliver it in in 2020. 5 pumps of antifreeze and done. Patriot🇺🇸 -
Looks great Max! Sano install! 👍🏻

No apologies necessary. Yes, you can, in a pinch. Simply unconnect the wires and reconnect the wires to the new detector. It’s a straight forward 12 volt connection.

Newbies taking the plunge - Are we missing anything
Patriot replied to Dennis and Melissa's topic in General Discussion
In our recent 6000 mile trip camping our way through 12 states and a month in the Colorado Rockies we used a fair amount of propane and never had any issues finding a place to top off our 30# tanks. Infact many if not most RV parks and CGs have LP refilling stations right on site and will gladly top off your tanks. If you do any cold weather camping and you use your cook top or a propane grill or frig on LP while camping, I would highly recommend the 30# tanks. Patriot🇺🇸 -
Best Tire and Wheel Sizes on your HD Tow Vehicles?
Patriot replied to jd1923's topic in Towing an Oliver
@gatorewc A really nice write up by your son! Very cool! We just completed a 6000 mile 42 day epic trip out west and are running the 35” Nitto Ridge Grapplers on our 2021 F350 6.7 liter Tremor. I am very pleased with how these tires performed towing our Ollie. I have them balanced and rotated every 5k. Based on your sons write up, I may consider the Nitto Recon Grapplers when it comes time for a new set on the Beast. Thanks for your post! -
Thanks, we caught plenty..😊 it’s been an absolutely amazing stay and visit here at Bull Shoals white water SP to say the least. The visitors center is top shelf. Onward!! Patriot🇺🇸

Interesting you should ask. We each caught our limit today on trout here today and we completely filled our Truma freezer. My Bride landed her first big 19” Rainbow, she is a great student and a quick learner! 😊. A gorgeous day fishing here on the Bull Shoals White River! It’s a destination CG for sure! A blessed day for sure! Onward!!!🇺🇸🇺🇸

A little trout fishing in Bull Shoals White River SP in Arkansas. All (5) Rainbows were keepers. This is a very nice SP, nice large sites, super clean, we highly recommend it! The fishing is great too! More trout fishing tomorrow. Onward!!🇺🇸

Left Oklahoma yesterday and spent the night in Fayetteville, Arkansas last night. Arrived at Bull Shoals White River SP this afternoon. What a beautiful SP, a destination CG for sure. We may even try and get a little trout fishing in.

We are meeting up with friends here in Arkansas near Bull Shoals lake. Rural Arkansas is a pretty area. We are slowly making our way east to enjoy fall again. 😊

We are in base camped in Fayetteville, Arkansas and it was cloudy, so a no go here. Patriot🇺🇸

On our way from Santa Rosa, NM to Amarillo this morning we just had to stop at the Cadillac Ranch and rattle can paint a Caddie. We then had a great Texas style steak dinner at the Big Texan…the steaks were excellent. I highly recommend the Big Texan for dinner if you are ever in east Amarillo. It was nice to be back in Texas if only for a brief time. Onward east to Oklahoma tomorrow. Patriot🇺🇸 Spot our Oliver.
