A very creative idea for sure and please post up on how it works out long term. The only initial concern I would have with this mod is does this invalidate a new Truma furnace warranty? For those out of the Truma warranty period certainly not a warranty claim concern any longer. Interesting mod!👍🏻 here- https://www.manualslib.com/manual/1357660/Truma-Varioheat-Eco-Au.html?page=12 Patriot🇺🇸

Trailer Length vs "pretty" campsite
Patriot replied to Dennis and Melissa's topic in General Discussion
@dennis Glad you got to tour an LEll! In the summer of 2021 we traveled from our home in Western NC to Gulf Shores Alabama, then back home to restock. We then left on a trip to New England and camped in NY, NH, Vt, and Me reserving campgrounds along our route. In total we visited 16 states and 22 CG’s and were never turned away do to the size/length of our Oliver. So it really depends on what your travel and camping needs are going to be. We are totally fine with the wet bath vs a dry bath. Based on our experience and we are not experts by any stretch, the Oliver LEll works great for our needs. And as @johnwen mentioned the resale of an Oliver vs a stick built is worthy of consideration. All the best in your decision, Patriot 🇺🇸 -
@johnwen that is great news! We are scheduled on the books at Oliver service for the retrofit in May. PM sent! 😊 Patriot 🇺🇸

Dwain, Great first step in scheduling to see an Oliver. Hopefully someday you will make it out to Oliver to Hohenwald, Tenn and take the factory tour. I strongly recommend it. 💯 totally worth the time and effort seeing in what goes into building an Oliver from start to finish. Total wow factor! 😊. Give sales rep Anita Johnston a call at Oliver and she will get you scheduled when your ready for a factory tour. There are a lot of apps out there for sure. One in particular that we like and use a lot is this one for vetting CGs. We use the free app. https://www.campendium.com This one as well - https://campgrounds.rvlife.com Patriot 🇺🇸

We always carry a Road Atlas and paper maps as a back up for use in combination with our Garmin 890 GPS. The paper maps can really come in handy on those roads less traveled. Lucky me, my bride and “navigator” is an excellent map reader. We dropped our land line and answering machine several years ago after retiring. Zero regrets as we really don’t miss any of the silly random political and marketing calls at especially dinner time or worse in the middle of the night. Only cell phones now. Patriot🇺🇸

Truma Six Short Two Long EPS Error
Patriot replied to DunnYet's topic in Mechanical & Technical Tips
DunnYet, Thanks for posting your update even though you never found out exactly what the cause of your issue was. It’s good to hear Truma did take care of you and that their customer service was great and as you say they were willing to get involved. 👍🏻 Patriot🇺🇸 -
Jason, Thank you for the updates on the new model Olivers changes and how some of these updates can be retrofit on older models as well. We look forward to seeing you in May when we swap out our Dometic AC for the Truma Aventa, Patriot 🇺🇸

💯 Agree, something was definitely not right with this rig in this accident.

We have been to Zion NP and it’s an amazing place! Now we want to go back with our Oliver in tow! Thanks for the reminder and write up! Patriot🇺🇸

@Caddymvyou bet! Necessity was the mother of invention on this mod. -
Looking for solution for charging multiple devices
Patriot replied to Kathy Tewart's topic in General Discussion
There are no outlets flanking the night stand, hence the mod. On the newer model Olivers the number of outlets has been reduced. And a few inches of cord visible at that location is really not a distraction at all. At least for us! 😊 Patriot🇺🇸 -

We use this “cube” and like it so much we purchased a second one. We have it mounted at the rear of our night stand with a small piece of clear Velcro. We just use the plug at the top left hand side of ceiling. And neatly hide the charger cord behind self adhesive cable race way. -
Like @Frank C we also changed our zerk fittings. Adding the zerk caps seems to make greasing a much easier task to ✅. Thanks @topgun2 for the suggestion at the time on the caps. -Patriot 🇺🇸

Brian, Yes I am aware of the Warn winch, it’s a nice really well designed option. I have not added yet. And thank you for the link of the much cheaper price than most dealers offer. And as an fyi Brian no OEM headlight recalls that I am aware of on my 2021. 😉 Patriot🇺🇸 -
For some reason whenever I hear stories about anyone falling off a ladder this movie comes to mind. chevy chade falling off a ladder

Agreed BL, The OEM LED head lights on my 21 F350 are blindingly bright. In fact the brightest lights I have ever owned on any vehicle. A total game changer and I highly recommend. Patriot🇺🇸 -
Welcome back and stick with your PT. It sounds like you are well on your way to full recovery. I agree with @ScubaRx I really try to avoid ladders as much as possible. Wishing you many happy and safe travels! Patriot 🇺🇸

This company might be worth calling. I have not used them so I cannot endorse their products or customer service. https://www.headlightrevolution.com I see you own a 6.7 power stroke. I do use this on line distributor for OEM filters and have been very happy with their prices and shipping. https://www.dieselfiltersonline.com Just passing it forward.
