  1. This company might be worth calling. I have not used them so I cannot endorse their products or customer service. https://www.headlightrevolution.com I see you own a 6.7 power stroke. I do use this on line distributor for OEM filters and have been very happy with their prices and shipping. https://www.dieselfiltersonline.com Just passing it forward.
  2. @Wolfepack thanks for sharing all those important details. The more we learn and share the better it gets. ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป Patriot๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ
  3. You bet and you are welcome! I think it does give a peace of mind should cell service not be available. ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป
  4. We recently had to retire our iPhone 7โ€™s as Apple is no longer going to push IOS updates out for our older phones and our phones could not be updated. Our phones kept getting โ€œNo serviceโ€ icons and Apple could not fix the issue. Planned obsolescence?? (We learned this icon signaled a failure of an iPhone component.) So, the dreaded and costly update to new phones had to happen. We decided to bite the bullet and purchase outright (2) new iPhone 14โ€™s and continue with our Verizon plan. I attached a tutorial video of the new iPhone 14 SOS feature. There maybe other better tutorials out there, but this pretty much covers the basics. The SOS feature is provided โ€œfree of chargeโ€ for the first two years and itโ€™s a subscription after that. It will be interesting to see what Apple charges for the subscription service. Needless to say the SOS feature could really come in handy in an emergency situation where no cell service is available and we need emergency services. Just passing this info forward in the event anyone is looking at purchasing a new iPhone. Naturally we hope we never need the SOS feature, however it is a peace of mind to know that we have it available in an emergency. Happy and Safe Travels! Patriot๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ

  6. Bill, One could spend the entire year camping in NC, gotta love our state! ๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ Thanks for your post! Patriot๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ
  7. Your nasty toxic negative posts are really getting old. If you donโ€™t like a particular post I would encourage you to just simply take a breath and keep right on scrolling. Itโ€™s pretty simple to do. There is absolutely nothing wrong with being decent, kind and respectful, as words really do matter. Maybe just give it a try. -Patriot๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ
  8. Great photos, Great news! Beautiful family! Glad you are hanging on to your Ollie! Keep those fun family camping memories going! ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป๐Ÿ˜Š -Patriot ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ
  9. For anyone interested and to โ€œwet your info appetiteโ€ pun intended. ๐Ÿ˜… Here is a little info about Lake Guntersville. Looking forward to seeing everyone! https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Guntersville_Lake Patriot ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ

  11. Matt, Thank you for all of this information. We have a better understanding of the tier reward system with your example given. David
  12. โ€œThere was a thread on FB wherefeedback was also lukewarm but it was quickly deleted as it seems any criticism of Oliver is not allowed there anymoreโ€. TexasGuy, I agree with your observation. I have noticed the same with regard to the admin overreach on the Facebook Oliver page. Deleting posts or content because โ€œadminโ€ does not particularly like or agree with the content or a reply by members mehโ€ฆnot so much. Silencing, muzzling, or deleting posts is not a way to facilitate good discussion or honest feedback by owners. The FB Oliver admin would do well to really just lighten up just a bit. Hopefully they will do better and not remain heavy handed. I also think the administrators should be rotated out often. As for the rewards program and card, we have little interest at best. 14. We really enjoy bluegrass and Tom Adamโ€™s is a favorite of ours.
  15. We endured 35-45 mph winds with a lot of hard rain and wind gusts in our Ollie camping up in Floyd County in SW Virginia a few years ago. It was a real doozy of a storm that lasted well into the next day at noon. Other than a little periodic rocking from high wind gusts our Ollie handled the conditions well and we had no issues with water intrusion. Our Ollie was not coupled to our TV at the time of this storm. It truly was the closest thing to being in an automatic brushless car wash we had ever experienced. We hope all goes well and you stay safe! -Patriot ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ
  16. All good points Bill. And when all else fails my eyelids pull the good night curtain when itโ€™s time to hit the hay.. ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜ด
  17. Great question Steve. Does the tinted window and Zarcor blind block all light? I would say not ๐Ÿ’ฏ. The blind might still may allow a real tiny seam of light to enter around the perimeter of the blind kinda similar to a home blind. When we see yโ€™all at this years rally you are more than welcome to come by and have a look at it and see what you think. From a privacy aspect as when the blind is quickly opened it does help to see who is unexpectedly knocking at the door. Itโ€™s also allows for another window to be looked through when the blind is open. The Zarcor tinted window does match up well with the other Oliver windows. -David @topgun2 shared this mod with us and may have some input. ๐Ÿ˜Š
  18. Yes, safe travels Mike and Carol! David and Kathy
  19. Wayfinder, Nice job on the replacements gas lines! I always like a really clean looking fit and finish. Itโ€™s all in the little details for sure! ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป -Patriot ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ

  22. Knowing we owed zero sales tax in Tenn on the purchase, we went over to our local DMV and got an estimate on our approximate sales tax, and registration and property tax fees. This allowed us to have our payment to the DMV ready once we returned home to register our Ollie.
  23. Tank you Bill, actually Tanks a lot! ๐Ÿ˜‚
  24. John, Thank you it took a little time for it to all finally come together. We sure are very grateful to have a place at home to park our Oliver. Those lights are solar powered and we purchased them off Amazon. -Patriot ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ
  25. @SeaDawg Thank you. ๐Ÿ˜Š We are located in Western NC and we rarely get very much snow at all. And not having any frost in the ground during winter what little snow we do get does not last long. Our roof on the Ollie Hangar is snowload certified/rated for 35# per square foot. We sure hope itโ€™s never tested.
