  1. Amen Steve!! πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ˜Š
  2. Steve, You sure got your monies worth out of those AGMs! πŸ‘πŸ»
  3. Interesting shoe rack! Necessity is the mother of invention and now making your Ollie yours.πŸ‘πŸ» We typically don’t travel with a lot of footwear (usually 3 pair ea) for the two of us. We carry a pair of Merrell walking shoes, reliable crocks, and our old hiking boots. These are kept outside of our Oliver usually in the bed of our truck in a small plastic tub. We just make it a practice to not wear or store our shoes inside our Oliver. Germaphobes? πŸ˜… hahaha…well yes I guess you could say that. Some CGs can be pretty nasty places to walk around, not to mention the some of the bath houses. We don’t wear shoes inside our brick and motor home so we don’t in our Ollie. Our quick slip on pair of pretty much weather proof campsite crocks are usually stored under the steps for quick and easy access. Just different view point on shoe storage or as it’s been said not one size fits all. 😊
  4. Good catch AZ Wonderer! πŸ‘πŸ»
  5. I feel sure you will get it resolved John! πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ»
  6. I would remove those leaves soonest. Some can leave discoloration or tea stains on your gelcoat that can require a lot of elbow grease to remove if left to long. David πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ
  7. John, Yes, as previously mentioned they very store well on their sides and the deep sleeping on a β€œcloud comfort” is perfect for us. Certainly memory foam is not for everyone. We had southern mattresses initially and quickly decided the discomfort of coil spring mattresses was not working. Coil spring mattresses for some reason just create too many wake up in the middle of the night pressure points for us. Agreed what works for some may or may not work for others.
  8. Thanks for posting Mike, Great info. We plan to let our AGMs run the course and maybe consider Lithium batteries someday. David
  9. Ollie-Haus We opted to have Oliver run the wiring and install the their components and swap out and upgrade later. As I did have a rear camera water intrusion issue which was replaced under warranty by the original manufacturer not Oliver. Looking back, a very wise choice IMHO. If you and you wife enjoy really authentic Mexican food I highly recommend Casa Grande located in a strip mall next to Walmart 5 min from the Oliver Sales office. It’s the best Mexican food we have had since we lived in San Antonio, Tx years ago. Josh will know exactly where it is. Hope you enjoy your day finalizing your Ollie build. 😊 Enjoy that Tremor! Cheers, Patriot πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ
  10. Yes two rubber plugs per wheel. So order I ordered 2 boxes.
  11. We use X-chocks as well and also added them to our arrival/departure checklists. They do add noticeable stability to the Ollie. We like checklists and yes always use them thanks to my bride/copilot. Forgetting an installed X-chock would not turn out well at all.
  12. Rest assured Rivernerd they do fit. A beautiful sunny 60 degree Western North Carolina day had me outside laying under Hull #634 installing all four sets. I think it took me 10 minutes including me getting up and down and off the concrete slab in the Ollie Hangar. πŸ˜„ Thanks for the post and the link to the caps! Patriot πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ Please excuse the inverted photo 😎. That’s how it landed when I uploaded it. You get the idea, they fit fine. I see a dirty wheel interior wow that won’t pass muster, I better get busy. πŸ˜„
  13. If mine don’t fit Amazon surely gets them back. Thanks for the link irregardless. πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ»
  14. Congratulations on your new Ollie and safe maiden journey back home! Patriot πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ
  15. Thanks for posting this link. Ordered!
  16. Happy Thanksgiving Oliver family! We enjoyed incredible venison tenderloin last evening with a little char, as we gotta have a light crunch πŸ˜‹. Today another feast of deep fried Turkey and sides at our friends farm. We said we would bring desert. So my amazing bride baked up a cast iron skillet apple pie and a blueberry crisp! Who needs dinner? πŸ˜‚
  17. No streaking issues at all with the black window seals. I tossed the white seals in the recycle trash bin. Patriot πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ
  18. All the very best for many safe miles and adventures! Welcome to the family! Patriot πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ
  19. 100% agree with the comfort level and the 6.7 PS diesel 10 speed smooth as butter! πŸ‘πŸ»
  20. We leave our TV in the stored up position, no issues. πŸ‘πŸ» Patriot
  21. Thank you for sharing all of this info. No question there is a lot more involved then just snatching some one out of a ditch. If one is unsure let the professionals have at it.
  22. As others have mentioned just keeping a good coat of wax on the gelcoat and using warm water and a mild carwash soap keeps our Ollie looking great. And yes plenty of elbow grease. πŸ‘πŸ» Patriot
  23. Gorgeous photos and views! Thank you for sharing!
  24. Any further updates on the progress on removal of your Dometic AC and the install of the Truma? Patriot
  25. Congrats on your new Ollie. Now you can enjoy making it your own! Happy Camping!
