Yes, of course. I have an induction cooktop at home, and I love it. But, for us, power is always an issue, as we rarely have hookups. 2008 Elite shorty, two 105 amp hour agm batteries. No inverter. So, an induction burner isn't a possibility for us.

If the mounting board is wood, I agree, epoxy is the best (and very permanent) solution. At least, it should be. We use it often to bond wood to fiberglass in the trailer, and the boat. Epoxy fills the pores, provides a complete seal, and is often used in marine applications, wood to fiberglass. 5200 will work. It's a pain to remove, but possible with solvents and mechanical work. Inverters can be very heavy. I'd want a wood mounting board, personally.

Sorry, but I didn't personally find that "snarky" at all. Just another opinion. It looks nice, and fits in your basket. I can find the same container at my locally owned Ace for $11 less, and, I do try to support my local store. I so often find them helpful, and handy. But, I, too, spend quite a bit on Amazon. It just depends. Shipping cost can sometimes really drive up the price on bulky items at Amazon, and even some of the big box stores.

Everything depends on your camping style, and how you can use what you already have. I encourage people to get the minimum, camp a few times, and then add to the collection. As they go.

I, personally, dislike silicon . But, that's a personal thing. Any decent bathroom sealant will give you a decent seal for the vanity. I personally prefer polyurethane, interior . No reason to go with uv 4000 in the bath. Imo. John's suggestion on the plastic blade is a good one.

A little silicon spray helps. It's a small price to pay, imo, for the extra step. Our original step was one step. The double step makes my life so much easier. No step stool needed in awkward high steps.

Looks like a nice chair. I personally like the folding chairs with runners as opposed to feet that dig into the ground, like this one. We have a few from Aldi that fold down very compact, with a small side table. Another few with side tables, not so compact. We have mana bear and papa bear sizes, and, like BoB, way too many chairs...

It's really a matter of preference. We've used the same smaller 5 x 7 or 8 mat for a dozen years, and another small rug or two in front of the steps. It's easier to clean and handle. 6 x 9 would also fit under the Elite awning, too. A number of places with grass sites don't allow rugs, at all, (they kill the grass) but will ignore a small walkoff mat at the door.

You have to keep in mind that the Discovery isn't a full size suv. For a compact, it actually has a great towing capacity. Probably twice that of most in its class. Sadly, not quite enough to safely tow the Oliver Elite, because of the limited tongue weight. It could pair up with a number of lightweight teardrops though, and quite a few other options.
