Interesting. When we got our GoodSam's policy, I think the full replacement was for the first three or five years only. I'll have to look at our actual policy again. Pretty sure GMAC was the underwriter back in 2008. I don't have any complaints about GoodSam's. They've kept the price fair, for 13 years. Well, a small complaint on the roadside assistance policy. But it's just an annoyance. They like to renew you 90 days ahead of time, and send a bunch of emails....

I've read that "Back to Black" isn't slippery. I may try that. On my side, only, first. Not the passenger side. We've used it on black trim, so I already have it.

Welcome to the Oliver family. I hope you don't have a long drive in the weather we've been experiencing across the country, lately. Glad you got the time to watch the videos. They really have helped many people. We'll look forward to photos of your new Ollie.

If it doesn't, I have found it pretty easy to change out the curtain in the rvs we delivered to Alaska. (I hate the new plastic smell.) Same number if grommets. I just buy a peva or fabric curtain at tjmaxx, cut it with my shears to length. I fold the stinky supplied one, put it in a bag, and store it in a cabinet. The camping world curtains are expensive, imo. Let us know, for other future owners. (We're in the no curtain camp.)

I've never heard of them before. I see it has user replaceable batteries. Which is a double edged sword. No need to send away for service, but from what I've read, they can be more problematic than sealed units. We have had consistently fast, excellent service from truck systems (tst) in Georgia on our sealed units. But, that price is certainly appealing, and excellent reviews. I'd order two extra as backup, if it were me. But, it looks like only the set of 4 is on sale.

Actually, if they aren't in business anymore, I think there are some highly skilled metal shop folks here who could build something similar, from the photos.... Sherry

Oh, no! Running boards are really great, though I wish I had power ones that concealed. For my birthday, a year ago, Paul installed aftermarket running boards on my Silverado to make it easier for my mom. She loves them.

That looks great, Townes. Thank you for sharing it.

Thank you so much, mjrendon. That means a lot to all of us on the mod team. -
We have reached another milestone!

That is all very good advice. Our administration have been a big help in spa m control, as well, from a software controls standpoint. I'll add a big thanks here to jason and Matt, too. I would note that the scam posting of an Oliver hull # was a cut and paste of the original owner's old ad. -
Congratulations, Bill. I hope you enjoy your shorty as much as we have enjoyed ours for 13 seasons. Looks like better weather for unloading the truck and setting up today. At least some sunshine 🌞 I hope you'll get time to run through all the equipment during your stay. Tennessee is a beautiful place to camp, but February weather is iffy. You'll definitely get the chance to see how nice and toasty it is in the trailer in the 20s at night. 🙃 We'll look forward to photos, later.

Welcome to the forum! So, your Oliver will be an early Christmas present... Plenty of time for planning trips in the meantime, right? There are lots of people here to answer any questions you have, in the meantime.

That looks really nice! For temperate seasons and climates, awesome. But, does it require a Thule awning?

Congratulations, and welcome. The waiting begins. Enjoy the videos on Oliver University. That will not only shorten the wait, but make you more prepared for a really fun pickup day. So, what are the frontrunner colors for the truck? We have one red, one grey. Both look great, pulling the Ollie. 🙂

I agree. But, we don't even know if that's your issue. Yet. You do know that your warranty covers you, wherever you are, right?

And, everyone who wants to, watches him for free. I don't begrudge him his revenue. At one time, he lived on his van, pretty much homeless. He's done the work, and if he makes money from ads, I'm certainly ok with that.

Door Lock (split from Code 10, norcold 3000 series fridge)
SeaDawg replied to Moonlight Mile's topic in General Discussion
Push in on the door. Then turn the key. Especially, if you're not quite level, side to side, and front to back. This is the same in every rv I've ever used. If the key is hard to turn, spray some of the silicone lube I told you about. Use the straw. -
I know you ran on 110 at the sales office. And at davy Crockett. So, when did you have the code 10? And, how was the fridge panel set? It can help us to help you, if you remember. I know that I asked you when I talked to you at the sales office site, you said the panel showed a "plug" illuminated, meaning, on your fridge, 110.

Did you have to reset the breaker when you drove to davy crockett?

Any sailors here watching the NZ Prada Cup?
SeaDawg replied to John E Davies's topic in General Discussion
Yes, we've been watching.. It's been a real bummer for usa. But, as always in the sailing (and camping) community, everyone reached out and helped when the foil broke away last week. Thank you, especially, New Zealand! No one lost, the vessel saved. -
One more thing, before you call for service, or do any other machinations, try resetting the fridge 110 breaker, again, for the fridge. (Probably under the small dinette seat?) If you're running on propane, this will not affect your fridge operation. You don't need 110 to run the fridge on propane. Make sure you are resetting the correct breaker. Look at the chart. Turn it off for 30 minutes to an hour. Some electronics take a surprisingly long time to reset. Take a photo, so we know it's the right breaker. There is a manual reset for norcolds, with a series of button presses, but the user can only reset it once, and you may be locked out if it doesn't work. At least, that's the way it worked on our old norcold. And, it might disable everything, if it doesn't work. Reading your posts, I would not encourage you to even try.

Yeah I have several. Used to ride motorcycles. I am a woman of many talents but disassembling cabinetry is not among them, nor does it interest me. $61k. I’ll get the vehicle inspector — appt tomorrow for truck and trailer — to do all this. Not his/her job. Call walmart. Or, do it yourself.

Frankly, I've only seen a few posts about the cord becoming unplugged. If you're uncomfortable with it, take your trailer to an rv repair shop, and let them look at it. You can run on propane til you get an appointment. You are under warranty. Or, when you get some sleep, and get your head cleared, see if there us a mobile service for norcold. I still suspect your problem is a) left the fridge on ac when you disconnected, or b) your board isn't recognizing 110, on auto, Which is odd, since your fridge worked fine on 110 at davy Crockett, but, who knows? Your fridge works on dc, and propane, so not the immediate emergency. Get your business appointments done, read your manuals, and get some help when you are in the right frame of mind. Good luck.

You could try teaching in and taking photos with your phone.
