Very clever, @csevel! What a great idea, and really nice work. Is this similar to what you used for the louver? 16.5" x 4.5", black abs. https://www.walmart.com/ip/seort/734788131

The infrastructure isn't there for 100 per cent , or even 40 per cent, ev. Charging networks, other than Tesla, are scattered, often lame and inferior. And, the new networks are often slow and geared to local traffic. We charge mostly at home. Changes will happen. I just hope as states mandate change, that they help make it happen, to meet the mandates they create. It's expensive, and intensive. So far, Tesla is the only realistic way to take a long trip. In a car.

Recommended source for '19 bathroom and overhead fans?
SeaDawg replied to nrvale0's topic in Mechanical & Technical Tips
Mine's a 2008. Can't comment on that. I will repeat, though. I love the overhead light, for a few dollars more. ($20? $30? Not sure today.) -

Interesting, as my husband has an s10e, and I can log on without issues from his phone. Which service do you use? He's on tmobile. -
Areas of Spotting on gel coat

That was my concern. Kind of looked like rub marks, but difficult to impossible to tell from the photos. -
Thanks. I just clicked on "read online," and read it all. I'm impressed.

Very funny.. Eventually, there will be. Electric motors and direct drive more resemble vin diesel. Just have to figure it all out. Newer lighter battery technology is undoubtedly coming, with more readily available components. Pretty sure Ford dropped the 350/450 ev exploration for the time being, as the Lightning has sold so well, and is so powerful. The 350/450 are work trucks. Got to have range, and capability. Frankly, I too would likely wait for newer lighter, more eco-friendly battery development. Or, look at the tech used for a long time for diesel- electric locomotives and ships. For me, I'd want pure electric. I don't really love the idea of hybrid, two systems to maintain. Personal opinion.

You can sign up, but it doesn't mean you'll get a dish and access anytime soon. I have been signed up for over a year, for our camping propertyin NC. Probably too close to a metro area. Deposit is refundable. Eventually, we'll all get it. But, it will be awhile. Sign up, and when you get a product and service from Tesla, are two very different things, in my experience. We waited over a year and a half for our tesla powerwalls. I'll be patient on starlink. We have few options up there. Mostly Verizon phone, as a hotspot. Still waiting on my cybertruck, not even counting the years, anymore. Is what it is.

Nice how you can angle the panels with the bed cover when you're parked.

Indeed, I think it is part of the plan, for several reasons. Many rural and remote areas really need starlink, and most urban areas already have decent high speed internet availability. Also, it's easier to provide good latency time and up/down speeds with a half million users scattered across 29 countries in remote areas, than to clog it up with a few concentrations of power users in urban areas. Musk has talked about the challenges of managing urban areas in the future, actually. The pricing is also more attractive for users in remote, under- or unserved areas. My high speed internet in an urban area is far less than starlink, for example, at $65 vs. $99 or $110. Edit to add a couple links to articles with more info: https://www.techtimes.com/articles/259864/20210504/elon-musk-guarantees-service-spacex-starlink-500k-applicants-internet-challenge-urban.htm https://www.geekwire.com/2022/elon-musk-are-you-out-there-spacex-starlink-internet-service-gets-more-reliable-and-mobile/

I've read that rv designated units use a more sensitive reading than home units, as, at home, you have much more dispersement space available. ( my bedroom closet is bigger than my Ollie, honestly) I would not personally depend solely on a home battery unit for co detection, but that's not John's suggestion either, as I read it. I think it is his 3rd backup.

Could you share a link? Thanks.

It's already happened with model x suvs towing trailers, though not ten stalls. Some of the newer Tesla charging stations have spots for vehicle plus trailer, but neither in my county are set up that way. Otherwise, trailer has to be dropped, and reconnected. Another time consuming operation. All the stations in my county are busy, except at odd times. Evs have been quite well received, here. Both superchargers are at WAWA stations. Always busy, when we've been there. Things will change. They always do. Towing, without adequate battery capacity, will remain an issue, until things develop and change. My great grandfather had one of the first "horseless carriages" in his county. In spring rain mud, he had to use the farm horses to drag the motorcar out the long muddy drive. Still drove it to town, though. Stubborn pioneer spirit, I guess. And wanted a better life for his family. We'll get there, eventually, with compromises, and research and development. That said, my gasser Silverado is soon celebrating birthday 17. They'll be around awhile.

The recipe reads pretty well. I would do it all in one pot. Cook the chicken first, set aside. Saute veggies. Use no salt added rotel for the tomatoes. I might add a little can of hatch chiles. No need to rinse the beans if you use low sodium. I like to add mrs dash Chipotle for a bit of smoky flavor. I don't love cumin, so I often omit it. I love chili recipes. Thanks.

Prices just went up, too. https://www.cnbc.com/2022/03/23/spacex-raises-prices-for-launches-and-starlink-due-to-inflation.html

TPMS sensors and valve stem failures
SeaDawg replied to Frank C's topic in Mechanical & Technical Tips
Tst recommended them when we bought ours, over a decade ago . We installed metal stems. No issues. If you continue with original rubber stems, just check regularly. I think it's a personal choice. Weigh the weighted sensors, vs stems, vs camping habitat and roads . -

Also, you may want to open a service ticket. -
Same with our locks at home, though they give a beep sequence, and a light, when battery is starting to get low. We get 3 or 4 more uses before it can't get enough power to throw.

Does this happen if you use the "stay logged in" choice? -
What I've read, so far, is they can "shoot" the spores and clinging tar up to 20 ft or more. Yikes. Hence, the artillery name. Good to note,, for everyone. Our trailer is parked on turf blocks and shell. Any mulch in our yard is cypress, and some distance from the trailer. This is super sad. Several posters in articles I read said to work away from home or away from mulch beds. This looks like a major pita. Not common here in sw Florida, probably because heat and sun kills the fungus that generates the spore pellets. Like I said, I have no prior knowledge or experience with this issue. Common mildew is easy , relatively, to remove. This crap can live on in the pores,,from what I've read, and bloom again. One guy said it lives on even old wax. Yikes.

Looks like the sun is shining on those spots in the photos. Could you add a few more, when the sun is lower in the sky? What products have you been using, and how frequently? Where in the country are you, and do you use a cover? Stored inside or outside? I'm sorry for your problem. Maybe some more info can help.
