  1. Thank you for your service to our country! You will learn lots here on the forum and FB page. I read yesterday on the forum or FB page that there were only 5 build dates left for the 2021 models! 30 days and counting down for our pick up.
  2. We ordered the end of August. Our trailer went into production on 12/21/20 and we have a pick up date of 02/15/21. It's getting close!
  3. Welcome! We are awaiting our delivery in February. There is lots of information on these boards and many wonderful, helpful members. Don’t hesitate to ask questions.
  4. Thank you. From the pictures online I could not tell where the divider was. If it was in the middle I knew that there was no way my phone would fit. We have the iphone 11 & 12 Max Pro so they are on the larger size. Looks like these will work. Thanks for the visual aid!
  5. Welcome from Texas! We are in the waiting queue as well. Lots of info on these boards to fill your time between now and pick up. Congrats and Merry Christmas to you both.
  6. In the description for this one (The James) it states that it has a divider. Does that prevent your cell phone from going all the way in it? Measures 8.5 x 5.5 x 2 and holds 5# The Frank has a slight V to the front (as opposed to straight on the James) and says it measures 9.5 x 5.75 x 3 holds 10# and has no divider. It seems like it would be larger than needed for cell phones/pens/etc. Planned to order online but now I’m thinking I should probably just go to BB&B to see which fits better. Planning to use near the beds for cell phones and misc stuff. Thanks!
  7. This update is gorgeous! What a great job you did. I love the colors and finishes.
  8. Josh is our salesman as well. He did our factory tour back in August. He has answered tons of questions that we have had. You will love the tour.
  9. Congratulations Sak! We are awaiting production now to begin on 12/21/2020. Lots of great information available here on the Forum.
  10. Thanks Trainman! We’ll be on the lookout for you. We camp mostly at state parks (Cleburne. Dinosaur Valley, Mineral Wells, Lake Whitney) and Corp of Engineer Parks (Cedron Creek, Loafers Bend & McCown Valley in Whitney and Holiday Park in Benbrook) as they are all nearby. We’ve gone further out a few times to Hill Country & East Tx but those have to be 4 day weekends or vacations to make it worth the trip. Charlie recently retired but I have a few more years to work so we’re mostly weekend campers. Used to do 2-3 cruises a year but looks like they will be replaced with land cruises in the new Ollie. Hope to meet you at the campground sometime.
  11. Very nice! Just the right amount without going overboard. Love the colors.
  12. That's our closest state park so we camp there several times a year. I also go there a lot to hike the trails and kayak. It's a nice park. Dinosaur Valley SP in Glen Rose is also a good park for hiking and playing in the river when you're back up this way. Cindy
  13. Welcome! We are awaiting our build after downsizing from a 42' fifth wheel. The factory tour sealed the deal for us. Can't wait to pick up in February. Enjoy your tour!
  14. Congrats Texas Guy on your May delivery. It seems like forever... We are from Cleburne, TX about an hour south of Dallas.
  15. 2021 models have no choice of color. The is the Power Model that is regular fabric and there is the Power Pro Model that has a sunbrella type fabric. We just finalized our order a few weeks ago.
  16. We are in Section D. The clerk told me both D & E were normally reserved for the Oliver Rally.
  17. Thank you for posting this. I'm trying to plan our route home to Texas from pick up. This looks like a beautiful place to stop.
  18. Welcome from Texas! Our pick up is mid-February. Hope to meet you at a Rally or Campground in the future.
  19. We joined the forum about 3.5 months ago but have never introduced ourselves. We are Charlie & Cindy from the DFW area of Texas. We took a trip to Hohenwald in August after our 17 day trip to Europe for our 40th anniversary was canceled due to COVID. We are not new to camping. We have had two travel trailers in the past. A 24’ starter trailer for a couple of years and then we upsized to a 42’ fifth wheel which we had planned to retire in and travel the country. We had it 5 years and decided it was way too big to drag across the country. Charlie retired a few months ago but I have about 5 more years to work and then we’ll be doing some long distance trips. In the meantime there will be lots of local camping on weekends and a few occasional 1-2 week trips where we’ll do some boondocking out west. We had just put our 5th wheel up for sale before our trip to the factory. The weekend after we returned home it sold for full asking price so we placed our order for a May 2021 delivery. Not too long afterwards we got a call that someone cancelled and we were offered a February 2021 pick up date so we jumped on it. Our final selections were made just before Thanksgiving and we forked over half the balance. We’ve enjoyed reading and learning about the Ollie differences and been buying a few things for the trailer along the way. The majority of the camping stuff we already have. This past weekend we camped old school with our son’s family who tent camp. We used our new truck topper to sleep and had a great time. Can’t wait to take delivery of our Oliver Legacy II in just 2.5 months so we won’t have to rough it in the future. We are still working on a name for our trailer and what graphic we want for the front end. We are also anxiously waiting to find out our hull number when it goes in to production on 12.22.2020. We look forward to meeting other Oliver owners out on the road and hope to see you at the non-rally Rally in 2021. Cindy & Charlie
  20. Congratulation! Love your graphic! Did you guys design this yourselves or use a service? We want to have our graphic ready to go at pickup as well. Only a couple of months to go. Please post pictures when you get a chance so those of us waiting can live vicariously through you until our turn comes 🙂 Cindy & Charlie
  21. We were told wind sensor and LED lights were the difference. No one mentioned the upgraded awning material...
  22. Gorgeous! Thanks so much for posting these. For those of us who have never boondocked it's hard to imagine what to expect. I thought it was all just dispersed camping but now I see there are real campsites available at some places just no services. This makes me feel better. Although I do look forward to camping out in nature with the great views like you have shown. Cindy & Charlie
  23. We made reservations last Friday. I talked to someone at the park who said as of now there are no Rally discounts available. I paid only the first night deposit and she said if they added the discount I'd just owe less at check in. We are looking forward to our first (non) Rally and meeting other Oliver owners. 89 days to our pick up date. Counting down slowly... Cindy & Charlie
  24. Congrats Bill! We are also soon to be Texas Oliver Owners with a mid-February delivery date for a LE2.
  25. Thanks for asking this question. This is the same discussion we were having earlier today. We are going with the twin beds so costs for us is only $299 so probably worth it. However we are also considering getting our mattresses from Southern Mattress to save around $650 on mattresses. In that case we want no cushions other than side dinette. I messaged our salesman today asking if the cost would still be $299 for the 4 side dinette cushions or are we forced to get all the standard cushions (we don’t want or need) and then have to pay to have all those recovered at a price of $949. In that case it negates an cost savings of going with Southern Mattress. Cindy
