@SolitaryPine Paul: One of the nice things about the Olliver's are that they are very aerodynamic and I have found there is almost no sway when towing (at least with my WDH connected). Other Ollie owner's with 3/4 and 1 ton trucks have mention on the forum that sway is not a problem for them. Maybe Ollie owners with 3/4 and 1 ton trucsk can provide their opinion con the need for having a pure anti-sway hitch. Most important is how you feel about the Ollie while towing.

@SolitaryPine Paul: Congrad's on your purchase and welcome to the forum. Hopefully you have the Anderson No Sway Hitch System. When the chains are adjusted correctly, it will transfer some of the load back to the front wheels to provide better handling.

Another AGM to Lithium Modification on 2020 LE2
dewdev replied to Ray Kimsey's topic in Ollie Modifications
@MAX Burner Art: I really like the solar tracker you have and showed in the video. Can you tells us where you bought it, what brand and model it is and what was the cost? How long have you had it and how is it working out for you? How did you connect it to the Olllie electrical system? Thanks -
@Snackchaser Did you install them yourself?
-
@Snackchaser Nice install Geoff: Can you tell us what the devices are next to your leather plyer holder? Did you install them there or are they new locations in your 2022 Ollie? Also, I see two toggle witches in the upper left of your pictures. What are they for and did OTT install them? Thanks

@jd1923 Good idea. Although, I would question how waterproof those switches really are. The rubber boot does not do it for me.

@Ronbrink All the units with the effected s/n are determined to be nonconforming since only the end burners have the tabs crimpted. The new corrected units will have all the burner end tabs crimpted.

@Mago I would not limit your search to only 2024 and 2025 trailers, if I were you. I would expand the search to 2022 and 2023. that have been lightly used. Just check to see what options they have on them. In my opinion, @Steph and Dud B are correct regarding the amount of battery power you will need when boondocking. Even a inverter generator will likely not be necessary, but could be an option for you. Try looking at the facebook "Oliver Travel Trailers For Sale" page. There is presently a good selection of newer models for sale there. Good luck in your search.

@Bill and Nancy Where did you get the battery operated stick on LED lights that are motion sensitive? Thanks

Truma Pressure Relief Valve Leaking
dewdev replied to Richard Walker's topic in Mechanical & Technical Tips
Yes, it is important to have a pressure regulator. Many campgrounds (and towns) have pressures in the 60 psi range (and more in low lying areas) and can have pressure surges as well. This would be my guess on why your PRV is leaking. I use this regulator - https://www.amazon.com/s?k=pressure+regulators&crid=13OLMOH9Q8P79&sprefix=pressure+regulators%2Caps%2C83&ref=nb_sb_ss_ts-doa-p_1_19 -
Truma Pressure Relief Valve Leaking
dewdev replied to Richard Walker's topic in Mechanical & Technical Tips
First Questions: 1. Are you hooked up to City Water? 2. Are you using a device to keep the incomoing water pressure in the Ollie below 40 psi? -
Treveling to Albuquerque, NM from New England in the middle May 2025. I am considering staying at Love's Travel Stops. One night at Love's Travel Stop in Hubbard, OH. A second night at Love's Travel Stop in St. Louis, MO. A Third night at Love's Travel Stop in Oklahoma City, OK We would like to get gas there and use the showers and bathrooms at those locations. Has anyone stayed at these location and is this a ok plan or are there other suggestions? Thanks

@jd1923 For us dummies, can you show a picture of the "shunt wired to the display for the original solar charger"? Where is this shunt located?

I was looking at the High Sierra Faucet web site and it showed the flow to all be downward and not to the side. I suggest that you contact the manufacturer and tell them of your problem. The faucet may be defective.

@Geronimo John Why would you replace the EZ Flex? I would think when the springs are replaced the shocks should be replaced.

Your list is pretty good. Although you might want to make sure you will use each item enough to warrant storing and taking them. Space is a consideration Here are a couple of additional things that I always take: - Small plastric storage bins for inside the pantry (take some measurements and look on Amazon) so your items stay in place while traveling - Since you have a F150, Anderson No-Sway Hitch - Anderson Levelers - 3 Anderson jack blocks (to reduce the length of travel for the electric jacks) - Camco Waste Tank (so you do not need to break camp to empty a waste tank) - Some replacemnt fuses (check the sizes that you have in your trailer) - Small electric Dehumidifer - Tire changing iron to loosen the wheel nuts in case of a flat - A second 30 amp power cord (and adapter to connect both cords) for time when one cord can not make the distance to a CG power pedistal. - Two water hoses to connect to a distance water source. - TPMS system to monitor tire pressure and temperature while in transit. - Trailer wheel chocks for use while disconnected from the truck. - Maybe a RV GPS. The Garmin RV 890 is great. You can program your trip, find gas, find CG's and it will keep you off roads that have height restrictions. - Lubricant to pour down the waste and gray tanks to lubricate the tank valves Welsome to the forum. Happy travels

I replaced my CO detector this summer even though it was not going off, but since it was a 2018 Ollie, I wanted to replace it before it started alarming due to age. When I took the old one off, the back said it was a 2017 detector.

@Mike and Carol I tried to find the Ultimate Campgound app on my Play Store that you are referring to. Is it still available to download? Could you show a picture of the app? Thanks

@Blain Welcome to the Forum and welcome to being a Oliver owner. Since both of the responses above do not have the Truma AC unit, I would suggest you call the Oliver company, identify what hull number you have and what do they recommend for a generator size. The minimium size of generator will depend on if you have the Micro-Air EasyStart option connected to your A/C unit. This EasyStart allows a smaller generator to start the AC compressor, since it will allow less amperage to start the generator compressor.

To Central Texas from Central Arizona the Slow Way

@jd1923 I thought the White Mountains were in the east. In what state are the White Mountains you refer to in your post? Looks like you are having a great trip. Stay safe. Enjoy your pictures. -
@FloraFauna I strongly agree with the above comments. I live in Maine and we have some cold snaps in the witner, like you. With the tanks empty, the worry is really freezing of the water lines, particularily the plastic fittings and backflow preventors. That type of damage is a real pain to fix. The backflow preventors and some of the water lines are difficult to access. Play it safe and winterize. You do not have to have water in the lines to camp in the winter; just bring bottle water to drink. If going south, then dewinterize when you get below the freezing zone.

@Kim Y. Congrads. Hope your summer with your new trailer was a lot of fun. Be sure to contact Oliver Travel Trailers and tell them that you have the trailer so you can be notified if any recalls happen. You can find a page to make that notification on the Oliver web page.

@thompsonkd My hull #354 is close to your hull number. To get access to the check valves under the basement storage area, I first removed the vertical panel on the back side of the trailer, I then removed the screws on the bottom of the floor and was able to remove the section of floor that is over the top of the valves. the floor panel did come out a little hard but by wiggling it a bit it came up.
