Mind-blowing possibilities!

@Townesw's video shows a movement between the hull and right rear frame member, as Steve mentions. I've got some time today - I'll set up a test for Casablanca, Hull 226. We'll see what happens. My original thought was that any movement detected inside was a function of a lack of jack stability. Interesting, for sure.

@Patriot - OBTW: We'll be in Crested Butte with Casablanca 20-24SEP... Another fine area in the high country to watch the fall colors, they call them "Quackers" up there not Aspens, HA!
-
WOW! That's a big elephant - one bite at a time... Concur with John, I'd add Pagosa and Silverton to his list. Try not to miss the San Luis Valley and the Arkansas River from Ponchas Springs all the way up to Leadville (highest aerodrome in US). There's a nice transition over Independence Pass from Leadville area down to Aspen, your Tremor will eat up that breath-taking route with 14k'ers in all directions, Mt Massive, La Plata Peak, Castle Peak, and others. Enjoy CO, we've got a remote off-grid cabin there near Antonito - love it!

Where about's in CO are y'all headed? Since you're on "our side" of the Mississippi now, you'll find that there's plenty of Buc-ee's as you traverse through TX! FYI: If your travels take you to southern CO, we're only a couple hours south of the border on I-25. Got an easy drive-through, flat site w/30amp H/U - all yours for a just a cold one! HA!

I'll take a stab at Mike's question: This section of I-10 in western NM is a "mandatory lights ON" stretch of the interstate during all conditions, especially with known dusty conditions in this area. So, in low-viz dusty conditions those vehicles with lights ON are the ones presumably driving in one of the lanes and not pulled over. If one would pull over leaving lights ON, an approaching driver (remember "low-viz") may assume the pulled-over vehicle is moving forward in one of the lanes. With rate of closure difficult to assess in these conditions - it could lead to a rear-ender. NM does not allow vehicles to activate flashers when the vehicle is motion, no good really comes out of driving with flashers on - we see this happen here all the time. But this is not the case in other states where emergency flashers are allowed for moving vehicles. It may be a stretch, but can't really figure any other logical reason for the state requirement to turn "OFF" all lights when pulled over in these low-viz driving conditions.

@Townesw: Outstanding visuals of a few of the key plumbing fixtures for the head - I'm breaking out my label-maker right now... Thanks for the effort for posting that info - very helpful!

Been there, done that, fully experienced the "mini-'Ol Faithful" right in the head (both of them)!

This was a game-changer for us when we were sliding our 8.5-foot wide SOB into our 10-foot wide opening. After mounting the front hitch on the RAM the neighbors never heard the "backing up" screaming instructions, "I said the other left, you dip-sh**!" anymore!!! However, with the 7-foot wide OTT, backing-in is a breeze now... NICE!

Best Tire and Wheel Sizes on your HD Tow Vehicles?

Same here. We're not bothered by the slight movement - and like @SeaDawg, we're a long time sailing family and actually don't notice movement inside the Casablanca much at all. If it was rock'n inside - I'm sure it was self-induced....

Suspension Rust on 2017 Oliver - a problem or not?

Hey, congrats! You'll be able to keep it that way and focus on more "fun stuff" to modify and clean-up! HA! -
Best Tire and Wheel Sizes on your HD Tow Vehicles?

Not qualifying for your reply criteria here, but I'm bored and want to chime in anyway... We ran Michelin Defenders on our 2015 RAM 3500 after we wore out factory Firestones (pathetic tires) at less than 30K miles. We were pleased with the 18" Defenders on the RAM and went through 3 sets before selling it in 2022. Actually went to 20" wheels when we bought the last set of sneakers for the RAM and liked the "ride" better with the 20"ers. FYI: still running Defenders on our 20"ers on the Tundra. Seems like there's a wider tire selection range for the 18" and 20" rims, if that makes a difference for you. Tire "type" (road, M&S, off-road, etc.) selection is clearly a function of driving style and owner's needs. -
Spotted at Bismarck Lake - Black Hills National Forest, SD

We've had a couple random and "not-so" random Oliver sighting this year - and we don't know why, but we get all excited whenever it happens... We actually had a silver (same as our's) Tundra/Oliver rig pass us northbound on I-25 in CO a couple months ago - I woke up D and said, "Hey, Baby, that's what we look like rolling down the interstate!". She laughed and went back to sleep. Never really had that feeling in the AS community - know what I mean? Cheers and "Ravel-On!", y'all -

The interpretive Ranger-led presentation is well worth the time before you take the loop. Enjoy! -
Ah! No worries, TKX!

Ah, understood! Totally get the rig set-up @Patriot! Concur, 100%, the light bracket should be fine living on the flagpole sleeve. We'll get one! Thanks for the post, Amigo!

G15 Rally Site at Lake Guntersville is NOT Available
MAX Burner replied to Gliddenwoods's topic in Events & Rallies
Just received a call-back from Guntersville Lake State Park office... We've reserved Site A-6. Planning to arrive 14MAY and departing 20MAY. We're stoked that we got at site, there's still 4 site available for that timeframe, FYI. The staff there are absolutely fantastic and accommodating - very helpful. Looking forward to viewing a sea of Olivers at the rally! Cheers! A & D -

Will do, Bill! Just tried it again - goes straight to v-mail. I'll stay on it today... -
Hey, @Steve Morris: please keep us posted on how that plate light option offered by 1UP works out; we're thinking about doing the same because the rack pretty much lives on the back of "Casablanca." Thanks!

New Apogee Adapt-X 4x8 ft folding aluminum trailer.
MAX Burner replied to John E Davies's topic in General Discussion
Very cool set-up. Nice build-job! FYI: We just got back from a Pensacola dive trip last week - planned to hit the USS Oriskany about 22 miles south of Pcola at 180+ feet. But hurricane Idalia had other plans for us. We'll give it another shot next time. -
Great idea. I'm thinking the solar light/module can live on the actual pole and not on the sleeve mount, right?
