The Suburban tank is simple and reliable. There is nothing about it that can’t be serviced by the owner. Parts are available on Amazon and most RV shops. I’m not going to change ours out, I like reliability when out in the middle of nowhere. Mike

Our Oliver turned 10 last month. We will celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary this coming Friday. Time flies. Mike

My understanding is that the brake wires come that way from Dexter, Oliver just installs the axles as they receive them. Mike

Intermittent trailer disconnect messages have happened to a number of owners. My problem was worn wires inside the axle. Bryan @SNY SD UP in ND identified this issue first and shared his solution. Simply replacing those worn wires fixed the issue. I did go through months of troubleshooting and having my truck checked and tested at the dealer. The thread below is one of several on this topic. Hey Mike and Carol, one more question: Are the valves under the bed in the same position no matter if you put the solution in the boon dock port or the two side ports? I know I am a pain, but want to do this right. Thanks again.

The Boerne Community Concert Band performed a concert in the town square yesterday evening. All patriotic songs, marches and songs of each branch of service. Also a nice rendition of Taps for our fallen heroes. It was a good turnout, lots of camping chairs and good weather. Small town USA. Happy Memorial Day! Mike

I’ll be watching! I’ve got a preliminary route planned out in my head which includes the above in reverse order. It’s going to be another year or two before we can resume our long trips, though. Mike
