No registration is required. I've only seen one bar increase in signal strength if I put your phone very close to the internal antenna, sometimes that helps but generally not much. The gain on the tiny external antenna on top of the trailer is pretty poor which is largely to blame. A physically larger external antenna with a higher gain would be helpful but not worth the expense / effort in my opinion. If I don't have a decent cell signal I use StarLink.

True. I believe the installation does have a fuse already so a circuit breaker seemed redundant.

A switch would aid in troubleshooting / isolating the circuit / wiring should something go wrong but as you know these are beefy components / connections and limited space can be problematic. I would imagine that having the engine off and the fuse removed would accomplish the same thing should you need to isolate the circuit / wiring. In honesty I've been thinking about doing a similar installation but as yet have not so I'm sure there are others here who have more knowledge / experience than me in this area.

That's a really clean installation, great work! One word of caution though is that manual disconnecting / connecting with an active load applied can cause contact pitting and heating of the contacts in breakers of this type. A heavy duty marine spec. switch with larger contact areas would also fit the bill since the circuit breaker is redundant in this application.

If your batteries are low your charger will draw a larger amount of current which will likely exceed a standard residential outlets current capability. You can adjust the settings in your inverter / charger to lower the charger current. This will require a longer time to recharge your batteries.

We pull the fuse, open the refriderator door and then flip the freezer door open. The freezer door prevents the refrigerator door from closing completely. Just be careful to not bump into the door when working inside the trailer.

They would sell really well here in CT because people here already drive like they have no windshield!

As titled, we'll be traveling from Fuita to Mesa Verde and would like to avoid the Million Dollar Highway. Would taking RT-62 to RT-145 be a reasonable route towing our Oliver? Trying to avoid any hair-raising adventures. 😁

This was suggested to us by the guys who were professionally cleaning tanks at the rally.

Check to see if any of the heating ports are blocked and also check the ductwork under the curb side access area for kinked ductwork. You shouldn't be getting any error codes. It's worth a call to Oliver if everything looks ok. You might also check to see that there isn't anything blocking the exhaust port on the outside of the trailer.

I don't know how I missed this thread until now but WOW what a nice build! Awesome job!!

Toyota requires a weight distribution hitch for your Tundra when towing an Oliver, we use the Anderson hitch. As you've mentioned your payload will be limited with the Tundra, visit a CAT scale and check your weights especially the weight on the rear axle. If you have the air bag suspension the truck will trim out nicely when towing the Oliver. The Tundra tows the Oliver very nicely and with the Tow+ mode and the twin turbos you'll get good performance. I've noticed no sway whatsoever with my setup and gas milage is reasonable at 13 mpg typically when towing ( 20mpg when not towing ). We have the composting toilet and are glad to have it. We can go three weeks between changing out the compost which is easy to do. You'll save a lot of water by going with a composting toilet and not have to deal with other peoples messes at the dump stations. Twin beds are the way to go with the Oliver. Water conservation is key when boon docking but you can easily add portable jugs of water to the system if you need to by using the Olivers boon docking configuration. The platinum lithium package is wonderful. The pantry can hold a surprising amount of food. We went with the 30lb propane tanks, they are heavy but came in handy for winter camping.

You may also be able to lower your Xantrex charger current limit parameter to lessen the amount of current being supplied for charging the batteries thus reducing the overall electrical load on the system. This will allow for some usable power for other accessories but will of course cause a longer battery recharge time.

This is likely due to DRM encoding ( Digital Rights Management ) which is to prevent copyright infringement.

We use our stand-alone at times as the Truma dehumidifier feature of the AC sometimes makes the trailer too cold.

According to SureCall registration is not necessary. I had tried to register ours prior to callling SureCall and the call center at AT&T had no clue as to how to register the cell booster. Don’t expect to see a huge boost in signal strength, typically one bar improvement if the phone is very, very close to the antenna.

Re-check that your valves under the curb side bed are in the proper position. There is a valve that if in the wrong position will allow city water to flow into your fresh tank.
