  1. Yes I edited my op before seeing your response, you have to remove the shade frame, just pull firmly on the corners.
  2. Your 2024 has roller shades, our 2023 has accordion shades, did you switch them out? Must say I’m a little confused (maybe just me😊) as to exactly what you want to do here. If what you want to do is remove the screen completely, you have to pop off the accordion shades frame first, just pull firmly on the corners.
  3. @Fargoman Not sure about the Oliver for sale Facebook group, but many of those Facebook groups you have to answer all the questions to be accepted, if you don’t you will not be accepted to the group.
  4. Great thanks Chris! Are you still happy with that setup?
  5. @Ollie-Haus Chris very impressive! I have an appointment with the factory in April to add the 2" receiver and this is exactly the end result I'm aiming for. If you don't mind when you have a moment could you please measure the inside dimension of the UWS box please and thanks? No rush.
  6. To all that have the Highsierra shower head, did you get the 1.25 or 1.5 gpm?
  7. @dewdev we stayed mostly at Love's during our trek down from Guelph (Canada) to Quartzsite recently, and we loved it! We did not stay at the Love's campgrounds, too $$ for our liking at $50ish when they also have free overnight designated RV stops. Obviously like Walmart and Cracker Barrel these parking spots are dry camping for overnight parking where you don't unhich, but they're open 24hrs, just off the main highway, facilities are clean, its safe, I get 10c off a gallon, and they have good coffee! Now that said, these RV parking spots are right beside the auto gas pumps (pic of Love's in Hubbard below), so it could be too noisy for some people, I sleep with earplugs and no issues with noise, and my wife sleeps like a baby even without earplugs.
  8. Great minds think alike John!😊, a gallon of water, dawn dish soap, a scoop of happy camper and a cup of vinegar go in the black tank after a dump before usage, then after each use a few spritzes of vinegar.
  9. Thanks JG, can you share a link to your list of torque values?
  10. Haha well not quite bored but I now have the time to do some mods! 😀
  11. Ok time to revive this thread! I know there are mixed feelings about diverting the nature's head urine tank into the Ollies unused black tank. Well, I actually went ahead and did this mod and so far FOR US we absolutely love it, more so for me not havig to dump and clean the 2.2gal urine tank every 2 to 3 days!🙂 Instead of using a ball valve to eliminate any odors from the black tank I used a 1.5" BV1B/UB HepvO Sanitary Waste Valve, and yes we still add some water and vinegar after every use, so there is no odour at all. Obviously there are other ways to do this, and maybe a better way, but here are some pics of how I did it, pretty self explanitory so I will not go into much detail explaining it. Next mod will be to reroute the sink drain to the black tank. Large hole was from factory, I drilled the 3 smaller holes.
  12. @bugeyedriver Pete I know it’s been a few years since this post, are you still happy with this custom receiver from Babcock?
  13. Exactly, shows you how miserably uninformed some of these insurance companies are! @MobileJoy not sure it will make a difference but send this to your storage facility…… Lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4) and lithium-ion (Li-ion) batteries have different characteristics that make them suitable for different applications: Chemical symbol: The chemical symbol for Li-ion batteries is LiCoO2, while the chemical symbol for LiFePO4 batteries is LiFePO4 Temperature range: LiFePO4 batteries can operate in a wider temperature range than Li-ion batteries. Safety: LiFePO4 batteries are safer than Li-ion batteries because they are more thermally and chemically stable. Environmental impact: LiFePO4 batteries are more environmentally friendly than Li-ion batteries because they are more recyclable. Chemical composition: Li-ion batteries contain cobalt and other toxic chemicals, while LiFePO4 batteries only contain iron.
  14. Agree 💯%, sorry did not mean to sound like I criticized your post! I also was just putting the more affordable option out there. Like I said the Amazon box works just fine for our needs.
  15. Yes, the sea biscuit box looks very well made, I just couldn’t justify paying $1200 for a box that I can get on Amazon for more than half the price. Yes I know it’s not the same quality but I (me personally) don’t need a “safe” to hold my chocks, levelling blocks etc. in, but hey, that’s why there’s dark and white chocolate, I like dark chocolate! My $350 box from Amazon is working perfectly fine for my needs. 😊
  16. That’s the negative bus bar
  17. Actually I’m pretty sure that is the BMV712 shunt not the smart shunt.
  18. I don’t have this faucet so I’m not familiar with its functionality. Are you saying 1) it’s leaking where the faucet screws into the hose, or 2) spraying horizontally out the end of the faucet? If #1 check the gasket.
  19. Get one of these John https://a.co/d/iYv5OWt
  20. We will probably swing by Imperial Dam for a month or so before coming back to Dome Rock for the rally in February, then Magnolia Beach before we start the trek back north to Nova Scotia along the east coast. But that’s the beauty of being a retire with time on your hands, take it day by day!😊
  21. We are here, La Posa South!😊 IMG_0139.mov
  22. Rich, I also worked for Bosch (Bosch Rexroth) Automation Division in Canada from 2001 to 2006. Congrats on the LEII, we love ours!
  23. Very nice work Steve! 👏 I’m am very intrigued by this mod, from what I can tell all you did was add a pex line back from the hot water line under the sink and Td it into the fresh water inlet under the basement floor? I have been looking at possibly installing a showermiser, but sounds like your recirculating system might be an easier install. Is it the diverter at the top that controls the flow back to the fresh water tank/or faucet when you have hot water at the diverter, how do you know when the water is hot at the diverter, do you have a link for the diverter?
  24. Sounds good, we will be in the Quartzsite/Yuma/Lake Havasu area until end Feb, then down to Magnolia Beach (Texas) for a week or so before we start the trek up to Nova Scotia.
  25. Dave, nice hearing from you and glad your Q7 is performing well. Sounds like you and Kris are really putting on the miles! I retired end of September 😊 and Thea and I are now full timers, left Guelph end October to escape the Canadian winter enr to Arizona, currently in Texas and should be in the Quartzsite area in a week or so. I traded my Touareg TDI in on a Silverado 2500HD, loved my Touareg, it towed like a champ, but with us going full time it lacked cargo capacity. So far liking the Chevy but also missing the Touareg’s fuel efficiency and turning radius. Take care and happy camping, say hi to Kris.
