  1. I don’t think the Weber would fit. If it did it would take up the entire area. We really like ours. It’s the 1200 model.

  2. Sorry for a follow-up question. The only difference in size between the EU200I and the EU2200I is the that new one is an inch or so longer. So, assuming that the Honda EU2000i is purged of all fuel, will it fit into the basement storage area at back of the Elite II? Thanks

  3. There have been a number of discussions of TPMS on the Oliver Forum. In addition to the one Mike and Carol mentioned, there are threads here and here. Coy (@hardrock) posted providing info on a web site that compares the features of different systems, and this was quite useful to me. I then found other product comparisons at motorhome.com and trailerlife.com. After my research I got the EEZTire Tire Pressure Monitoring System - 4 Sensors at $269. Excellent reviews, and good features. While there are some systems that use sensors that are internal to the tire, I got a system with external sensors. There are some sensors that are flow thru, meaning they do not need to be removed before using a tire pressure gauge or adding air. I got the version with the non flow thru sensors, which are easy enough to remove, but have an anti-theft feature. I also liked the fact that these EEZTire sensors are light enough that the tire does not need to be re-balanced. (As it turned out, I put the sensors on before I finally got the tires balanced.) I found it easy to use, especially with good how-to videos ( and ) that showed how to program the system and link the individual sensors. The video had several good ideas, including putting clear nail polish over the number tags that identify each sensor, and using Anti-Seize Lubricant when attaching the sensors. I urge everyone to get a TPMS system, as this provides an important margin for safety while towing. I expect all of the TPMS products work well, so don't delay. Choose a system and get it installed.

  4. Duke & Chris, Do you know the charge state of the batteries at this time? I’m not sure of your storage conditions but you could charge the batteries from your vehicle if you can reach the Ollie batteries with jumper cables. Or you could connect the tow vehicle 7 pin connector to the Ollie and charge the batteries slowly. I’ll be back in Tampa late next week and can come give you a hand while Duke is on the mend if needed.

  5. The Oliver is way down in the left corner. It is watching the ten deer.

  6. Reed: The seven wire cable that attaches to the tow vehicle is located under the front dinette seat; which is easy accessible. At that point I cut out all of Oliver’s connectors and installed an additional 10 gage white wire and quality electrical connectors. The 10 gage white wire that I installed was run to the rear dinette seat area. If you open up the access cover under the seat, just behind the electrical panel is a ¼ - 20 bolt where Oliver grounded to the frame the on board battery negative. Oliver used a 6 gage yellow wire from their battery negative buss bar. Their 6 gage yellow wire is about 14 inches long. I just attached my 10 gage white wire to the same ¼ - 20 stud; this way both the on board battery negative and the tow vehicle negative are bonded together at the same point. As I said in my original post, go to the trailer plug with a multiple meter; one lead on the trailer frame and the other multiple meter lead on the plug that goes to the tow vehicle. At that point if everything is wired correctly you should have a short; which means everything is correct. But is you have an open circuit that means the two negatives are not bonded or connected together. I have attached a sketch of the end of the trailer plug for reference.

  7. Having lived in Sierra Vista I know what you're dealing with sun-wise. I bought an extendable pole with a microfiber blade at Lowes. I use regular car wash and a ladder with my pole to reach to top. I wash at the end of each trip. I haven't waxed yet, but just got a bottle of Rejexx off of Amazon based on recommendations from a few members of this forum. When we get back from our New Mexico trip at the end of the month I'm going to wash and wax. Will let you know how it goes. Mike
