At the rally earlier this month there were a few owners that had awning damage from the strong storms that blew through. One directly across from us lost their entire awning and asked if I could haul it to the dumpster area for them since I had a truck. I did so, but before I did I cannibalized any undamaged parts that I could carry with the intent of offering them here for any owner that might need any of them. The awning was a Carefree awning. I salvaged the fabric, support arms, and several other pieces of hardware. If any of you are in need of any parts that I may have, just let me know.3 points

This is intended for internal linking purposes only. This is an automated process - posts are never edited. You can check by editing your post - you will see that the link does not exist. This only works for the first keyword found. :) I know what you are talking about how some forums use those affiliate links trying to get people to buy products and they make a % for each sale, that's not going to happen here. More info: https://moz.com/learn/seo/internal-link Hopefully my explanation cleared that up for y'all!1 point

Something new I just noticed...when I posted the phrase travel trailers an automatic hyperlink was added to olivertraveltrailers . com/travel-trailers/. I'm not sure how I feel about this. On other forums, I've seen where acronyms or jargon will get an automatic tool tip (dotted underline and when you mouse over it, a text description pops up to explain what the acronym/phrase means). But in this case it appears that I am linking to the Oliver Travel Trailers product page, which is not what I intended. In context I was talking about "other travel trailers," as in other than Olivers, so it didn't make sense in that specific case. But more broadly I don't think the forum should be modifying someone's post with content that they did not intend, since even a hyperlink implies that the linked page is part of what the author is trying to say.1 point

Here is my new cutting board, it is lovely and it really brightens the interior. I got this in a very roundabout and unexpected way. DavidS won it at the Oliver Rally, and unfortunately for him it is square and intended for the later (large) sink. He arranged for another narrow one to be shipped from Foy, who told him to find another Oliver owner to give this one to. David reached out to me by PM and told me he wanted me to have it. I offered to pay for the shipping and he would not even let me do that. It is a beautiful accessory, and I am unexpectedly touched by both Foy and David’s actions. Thank you both, I will take care of this board and enjoy its beauty for many years. This Forum really is becoming a large extended family. I enjoy participating, sharing and learning here. Thanks again. John Davies Spokane WA1 point

Hi again everyone. Our marketing consultant wrote up a nice summary of our attendance to the rally this year, and posted it in our news blog on our website. If you're interested, please check it out at the this link. Bill's photo came in handy!1 point

Hello Mark and Joni! I certainly remember that day in Hohenwald. Glad to hear you two will be getting some great use out of that new Oliver. I agree that our use for a generator to fire up our A/C (or other needs) will be very infrequent, especially in the Rocky Mountain states in our solar ready Ollie. I find that always carrying the Yamaha in the bed of our Ram is like comfort food. Takes up very little room and is a slap in the face to Murphy's Law.:) Elevation almost always provides cooler temps in summer travels and it seems we are always heading west. Flathead Lake next month in Montana for example. Hope to run into you two somewhere out there. No doubt I will recognize that beautiful TV monster you drive.1 point

If you are interested about my experience with generators, propane, elevation and Micro Air, read under the topic "Micro Air" I just posted.1 point
