Check in your area for company’s that do vehicle graphic wraps. They can wrap any area you like with a clear vinyl wrap that is used mostly for the front of vehicles. It will keep the areas you want protected. Then after time it can be easily removed and replaced. They use heat guns to conform to all curves. I had a Freind who did the clear wrap on the front of his trucks bumper hood and fenders its very hard to tell that it was even done. I think others have posted different ways to protect the front you should be able to search them1 point

I will send pictures the next time I go to where it is stored. The neighborhood rules state "no trailers, campers or boats" in your driveway, so I found a place a couple of blocks from my house that will store my Oliver. Thanks for asking about the knee..It is still swollen, hot to the touch and I am still on pain pills...after 4 weeks. Getting tired of it.1 point

A tip on writing complicated/long posts. I always write in a word processor or note pad and get it like I want it. Then copy and paste. Haven’t lost any yet.1 point

I have removed all of the sealant around my shower pan and resealed it without having to completely remove the pan. After removing all of the sealant I placed a tractor front end weight in the shower pan to pre-load it before resealing it. This pulled the edges away from the wall to allow more caulk into the gap. The caulk applied at the factory was smoothed too thin and the flexing of the shower pan caused the gap to open between the shower wall and pan and allowed water to leak down the wall between the shower and closet. I had water under the mat in the closet. After my repair I have not had any more water in the closet. I realize your problem is a squeaky shower pan instead of a leak but I believe you will have to do as I have done to fix your problem. (continued)1 point

We’re quite a drive from Hohenwald too so having a reliable local RV maintainer was something I worked on early. Fortunately, Bugeyedriver is a neighbor and had found a good local shop which I’ve used. I’m certain he would be able to work on an issue like your shower. I don’t have any specific advice on how to fix your shower floor, although it doesn’t sound too complicated. I’d recommend finding a local RV maintenance shop who should be able to fix this. It also seems like this was discussed a while back. I’ll do a search to see if I can find the thread. Mike OK, did a search and didn’t find any specific instructions, but found that Steve Landrum (Scubarx) replaced a cracked shower floor so he might have some advice. Mike1 point

I’m new here and this is my first post, so I hope you don’t mind if I provide a bit of input to your question before I introduce myself. I’ve driven HYW 25 between Cheyenne and Buffalo a time or two, although it isn’t the normal route that I take each year between my home in PA and our summer destination along the Yellowstone River south of Livingston, MT. (I don’t recall anything in particular about this section of highway, pro or con). I do have a number of friends that always stay at the Deer Park Campground in Buffalo whenever they travel to or from the Livingston, MT area every year and most of them consider Buffalo, WY as a comfortable day’s travel from Livingston, MT, but it is more than a 4 hour drive if that’s what you’re planning. I also have a retired dentist friend and his wife that live in Buffalo, and a couple years ago he drove between Livingston and Buffalo every week all summer when he was still working there one day a week. One of the best RV Parks in SW MT is Yellowstone’s Edge RV Park, 18 miles south of Livingston, MT, which is right on the river, and on HWY 89 South, which goes to Gardiner and Yellowstone National Park. If you’re looking for something more primitive, there a multiple places along the HWY between Livingston and the Park where you could stop with your trailer to spend the night. John1 point

Oliver marketing has given away Oliver t-shirts at some rallies and (if they have them in stock) have given t-shirts to new owners of Ollies at delivery. Since you have a relatively new Ollie and if you didn't get a t-shirt at delivery, you might want to call your sales agent and ask nicely if you can get one (or two). Bill1 point
