  1. I switched to the 1/4 turn porthole and lid a year or so back due to the discoloration of the original. I also moved the tether from the old cover to the new one. I still lube the threads, there’s just less to lube! My tether was in the parts bag of some shop lights I installed in the past. Mossey
  2. This is the OEM light hull 193 was equipped with. My best guess is that the nut and washer is loose and will be impossible to get back on the hollow bolt. You can remove the rubber mat in the cabinet and locate the top of the fixture, it will be under the black tape corresponding with the fixture location. If you attempt this method I think it would be beneficial to pre twist the wires in the opposite direction so that they straighten out when you thread the stem back in. Mossey
  3. My inverter is still attached in it original position. That being said and I was going to re-attach the mounting board or just being proactive trying to prevent the mounting board from breaking loose, I think replacing the just top 2 screws holding the inverter to the mounting board with the through bolts of your choice, would prevent the inverter and board from falling. But the other choice is to hide the bolt heads. This is where Krunch keeps 4 or 5 pairs of sandals, slippers or 🩴’s under her port bed overhang. I’m sure no one would be able to see the bolt heads unless they wanted to borrow a pair of her shoes. We won’t even discuss where the other 15 pairs of her shoes go! Mossey
  4. Where do you intend to locate the Cerbo GX? Are going to use a GX Touch 50 or 70 display and if so, where are you going to place it? I am using a 15’ HDMI to get from the display down to the Cerbo GX through the rear port corner as ScubaRX mentioned above. Mossey
  5. And I remember you telling me that you would rather be “lucky than good”! But I think we were talking about fishing! Mossey
  6. I have heard that Oliver did a lot of different things in the “old’n days”, but of course I wasn’t around then! Mossey
  7. We just donate it! I don’t like strangers looking at the “good stuff” that I’m not ready to part with. It does amaze me the stuff people will pick up at the end of the driveway.😁 Mossey
  8. Yep! At my estate sale and my wife will be cussing about “all my crap”. Mossey
  9. I also end up buying more than I need on Amazon, especially the small stuff. I need to start posting my extras on eBay. Mossey
  10. My trick for remembering parallel vs serial is this, parallel = pair and serial = sum. So a pair / parallel of 12v batteries is just a pair of 12’s and the sum / serial of two 12v batteries is 12 + 12 = 24. Mossey
  11. The information on this sticker is needed to fill in the online SCC calculator. Mossey
  12. The first thing that I would do is to get my ladder out and take a picture of the information sticker on the roof top panels and your portable panel. Then you can check an online charge controller calculator and determine if the 100/50 will do the job. I do believe Victron SC’s have the ability to throttle down the in coming power to protect itself. And Craig’s advise is the current voice of experience as he is using similar equipment to yours. Mossey
  13. What solar equipment did Oliver install in your trailer? What inverter/charger do you have? Mossey
  14. Very good advice! Victron also has a charge controller calculator on their site and Nate is a Victron Ambassador so I’m sure they are similar or the same. Mossey
  15. That’s a great idea! Can you take a few pictures of your flasher in operation and maybe include a part number? I’m sure there are others interested in this tool/mod. Mossey
  16. This is really short notice for me to start my acting classes, but your point is noted. Mossey
  17. That is an old trick that has been around for a while, but some here may not be aware of it. Thanks for mentioning it. Mossey
  18. ScubaRx and I did a hands on demonstration and discussion about PEX plumbing at the 2022 OTTO's rally. It seemed to be well received by those that participated. We were talking recently about lubricating the dump valve cables and the valves themselves and thought it might be a subject for discussion at this years rally if there was enough interest. So if anyone has interest in this topic, please PM me directly. And if anyone is having trouble with their dump valves, we might be able to incorporate that into the demonstration/discussion if they are willing to have some “amateur plumbers” in and around their Ollies. We will limit this offer to 2 Ollies if there are any volunteer victims! Mossey
  19. I had an opportunity to check my tag light wiring yesterday. and it matched your wiring before your repair. And I found it also matched the wiring diagrams in the 2017 LE2 manual, although the manual diagram does not show a tag light. It is not much of a guess that they used the tail light circuit to power the tag light. So I have a question for Art, were there any wiring instructions with the new light you installed that designated the positive and negative wires? And the next question is for John Davies. I have been looking for RV wiring standards and the ANSI RVIA Low Voltage Systems for 2020 costs $45.00, which I did not choose to pay. You have made reference to this documentation before and thought you might be able to share your source of information for the rest of us. Mossey
  20. My 2017 LE2 manual indicates that the tan wires are for the camera system. Since I don’t know how you Ollie is equipped it’s the best I can do. My rear camera switch is at the entrance and I have an unused tan wire in the wiring/switch access port in the upper cabinet above the microwave that is routed up into the area above the entrance and heading toward the bathroom where the front camera option was located when it was offered. 21. Is there any way we can send her flowers and get well wishes? Mossey
  22. And l thought the saying was “keep the greasy side down”, but I guess they do go hand ‘n hand! Mossey
  23. Did you have separate thermostats for heat and air with your OEM Atwood air conditioner? Mossey
  24. All I can say is WOW! Maybe I can hold back my IRS payment and get ‘er done! Mossey
