I have not seen an operating window for the door. I do just as you mentioned with the Maxxair pulling air out and the bath fan allowing the air in. I would probably leave the bath window open instead of the door if it had a window and extra venting was needed. I know that I can’t fit through the bath window, but I could reach through a door window and unlock the door if I had larceny in my heart. Mossey

I use a setting of 4 to 4.5 with my Redarc. Off course you truck and trailer are newer than mine. I am sure you will cause the brakes to lock up before you get it to your happy place. Just try to do it on a lonely back country road. Mossey

I do not have any switches installed, just the power wires. I think the cellular booster/WiFi antennas are located on the front port corner and the active components are mounted in upper cabinet above the front dinette seat and the switches are then mounted on the outside of the cabinet between the bathroom wall and the cabinet door. You would get the switches when the active components and antennas are installed. So you should wait until April 9th to continue your Easter 🥚Hunt. Mossey

I removed my awning gasket because it caught every leaf, needle, acorn or anything else that falls out of the trees. And I have never regretted that decision. So I haven’t looked at that gasket in a long time, but I didn’t have to remove the awning to remove the gasket. So I’m going to go out on a limb say that based on my limited experience, I don’t understand why you are going to remove the awning. I know from some of your other posting’s, you’re not afraid of tackling the hard jobs. Are you sure removing the awning needs to be done in order to replace the gasket? If you have time, please take some pictures documenting the door removal and let us know how your did the job. Mossey

I have stayed out of this conversation because I really don't have any cold weather camping experience below 20°. I started reviewing this post in the last week and your statement I quoted above caused me to think about a possible solution to the basement/garage plumbing issue. A while back, Minnesota Oli posted about a bathroom mod he completed that facilitated saving the resident cold water that resides in the hot water line between the water heater and the bath shower head. This mod accomplished 2 solutions. The first being that the fresh water that was previously going down the bath drain, thus taking capacity away from grey water tank and the second was the fresh water savings by returning the cold water back to the fresh water tank. Now to the part of his mod that might help the cold weather basement/garage plumbing issue. His return line runs down the street side and crosses back to the curb side and tee's into the fresh water tank fill line. The crossing point is just aft of the fresh water tank. Now the thought I have is to move the City, Fresh and Hot water lines that run back and forth through the basement back to the mid cabin area below the beds and eliminate the lines running through the basement which you have pinpointed as the problem area. I also think foam pipe insulation or pool noodles would also provide a measure of warmth to the water lines no matter where they are located. Mossey

I don’t remember what size the mounting holes were, but I used some small round pads that I found at my local Ace Hardware store. They aren’t plugs, more like the pads you find on the feet of a table top radio or a clock. They aren’t rubber, maybe some space age material with a glue backing, but they are pretty thin and have stayed up almost 4 years. Amazon has a large selection of plastic or nylon hole plugs if you can find the right size. Mossey

I bought 25 white 2" hole plugs in 2019 when I relocated my TV. And I have 23 left, so if you can use 1 or 10 let me know. Mossey

I agree! With Amazon’s supply chain and delivery issues during and post Covid 19, I always go to EBay for a price check. As an example, I purchased a Victron Cerbo GX last December for $80 less than Amazon, with free shipping. Amazon is very easy to do business with, as long as you don’t need to talk with them. But I often save money at EBay. Mossey

I like easy, so here goes! I was born and raised in Florida and know enough to stay there in the winter, so that is the reason I have never had to winterize. But I do sanitize my freshwater tank and when I do drain it, I tilt the trailer to the curb side which is were the drain pipe exits the freshwater tank and I remove the outside shower head, turn the shower on and insert the hose into a piece of PVC pipe to move the water away from the trailer when I am at home. You could run it into your drain hose if your campsite has a sewer connection. And I wouldn’t have any qualms with opening the freshwater drain and driving down the road if the weather cooperates. I often dump my freshwater during the last few hours of driving home. That probably wouldn’t work in freezing weather. On the other hand it may be safer to have a 1/2 of tank of water, which would be less likely to freeze. Mossey

The key to backing up a trailer is to practice and most importantly, go slow! And don’t be afraid to pull forward and start again. It is often easier to back up straight if you start out straight. And don’t worry about it, we all had to learn at some point. And before I forget, figure out how you and your partner are going to communicate. Be it hand signals, walkie talkies, cell phones or your rear view camera. Mossey

Welcome to the forum. I am not a F250 Tremor owner so I’ll let those members speak up at their opportunity. I will say that I do not know for sure but we may have one member with a 3/4 ton truck that uses an Andersen WD hitch. Most of the members using an Andersen do so because they are required to by the manufacturer in order to not exceed their tongue weight limitations. It all depends on your Tow Vehicle’s limitations and each vehicle may be different. And if you haven’t heard, there will be an Oliver Travel Trailer Owners rally at Lake Guntersville State Park in Alabama May 17-21. If you are still in the area and have time to visit, please do so. The campground may or may not be full at this time, but nearby State Parks may have availability. Mossey

The inspiration for my nose art was my two Border Terriers. And of course, also the fact that my wife did not wholeheartedly embrace a travel trailer as an RV of choice. She would have preferred a Class B or C if she was going to move out of the Hampton Inn. The hard part was finding a silhouette that was an accurate image of a Border Terrier and was not copyrighted. I found this one on Etsy and bought a piece of the artwork and asked for permission to use it on my caravan, as he called the Ollie. He was impressed that I had even asked for permission and was kind enough to send me a soft copy to use as I pleased. I added the script to the original and Oliver printed for me. Mossey
