In making good use of our time between now and the time we take delivery of our Ollie in May, I have been ordering a few items that I know we will need and use. Our Andersen levelers arrived today and I spent a whopping $7.68 with a 20% coupon on a plastic tool box from Harbor Freight. I like to keeping all our camp gear organized and so here are a few pics of the tool box. Nothing fancy, but I think it will get the job done. Hope this might help anyone thinking about storing their levelers. Just passing forward an idea. 👍🏻 Happy Camping!

Ken_Judy, yes indeed the videos on defeating other locks is pretty convincing. I have used a Proven lock on our previous camper standard coupler. I would lock it up and know that I did my level best to secure the coupler. If nothing else it your camper will certainly not be a soft target. I will also say the Proven lock is heavy as a boat anchor due to over the top engineering. Having owned one, IMO worth the peace of mind you have done your best to secure your Ollie. Happy Camping!

Hi John, Good points. We own a Tundra Platinum Crewmax. I use to carry the eu3000i in the bed between the bikes when hauling our former camper. I will have to see how the basket handles 78 lbs be just setting the gen in it. If it’s not up for the weight, and it might not be, I will revert gen storage back to the truck bed. Thanks, David Edit- Thanks for advising me on the load weight limit of 140 lbs on the tongue box John. At 78# I think it will support my Honda fine while camped.

Sherry, It’s weighs in at only 78 lbs, is Honda whisper quiet, and it will run anything we wish to run in the Ollie especially the A/C or microwave should we need it. A great little get set. I am glad the Honda 1000 has worked so well for you. We really like our eu3000i. -David

Bill, I have the attached tray dimensions, and after reviewing dimensions of my Honda Handi eu3000i it should fit nicely with it measuring only 13”w x 22”L. I was Just curious if anyone who carries this gen in the tray and may have crafted a unique way to securely lock it down in the tray. I will craft something. I may have a local boat cover craftsman make a snap on cover for traveling, weather, keeping it a little lower profile/out of direct view. -David bikes travel out of the weather.

We have our Ollie order in and opted for the aluminum tongue box. Does anyone run a Honda Handi eu3000i? If so do you transport it in the aluminum tongue box? Open to suggestions on how to lock it down. Thanks in advance. David

Ok gents as a brand newbie here to OTT and to the Camco honey tote I just have to ask. Those that carry the tote where do you store this honey hauler during travels? -
Mike, Are you happy with how this gutter strip around your windows performed? It looks great. I am thinking about ordering a roll of this for the Ollie we have on order. Lots of positive reviews. Thanks in advance, David

Steve, Thank you for your kind words. Next time your in the Blue Ridge Mountain foothills, it would be a pleasure to meet you. David

Matt, Having just placed our deposit/order for a 2020 Oliver Elite ll, what you stated above is exactly why we chose Oliver. My wife and I were very impressed with the plant tour seeing most if not all that goes into building the finest travel trailer made. It’s very apparent to us, Oliver takes pride in their product and backs it with stellar customer service. We are looking forward to delivery day and we are already booked for the National Rally in Guntersville. David & Kathy

This is what I am ordering for our Ollie while parked at the campground. These are very strong locks. Do not loose the key. https://www.provenlocks.com/products/model-2178-b And this will be used while towing-

David it was Actually $80 with tax. Sorry my math error.

During a recent holiday sale we ordered this Outlander fire bowl for $75.00 off Amazon. It has a lot of great reviews and could come in handy during a wood fire ban at a campground. It arrived in perfect condition and fired up nicely and has a carry handle. It packs up nice and is fairly light but well built. Nothing beats a beautiful wood campfire, but in a pinch this sure beats looking at the ground or not having a fire at all. Based on how easy it lights, packs up and stores I would buy it again. Hope this helps anyone considering a propane fire pit. Happy Camping!

Just another possibility. Not a bicycle rack for the back receiver hitch of an Ollie, but one I configured for our Tundra bed. Just an alternative thought here. This set up works great and keeps our bicycles secure, out of sight, and most of all clean. It has kept the bikes secured in location with no issues. The Aluminum plate is mounted to a rubber horse stall mat. (Tractor supply). Hope this might help someone wanting to carry bikes in your pickup bed rather than the back of the Ollie. Our Tundra has an ARE Z series topper.

Greetings again from Western North Carolina! After taking the factory tour on Jan 21, we placed our order with Anita yesterday afternoon for a March 12 build date with a May 12 delivery date. After placing our order we went ahead and booked our camp site at Guntersville State Park for the May Oliver Rally. We are excited about meeting our new extended Oliver family at the rally, learning as much as we can and most of all fostering new friendships. Thanks to everyone on this forum for the knowledge you share. A special thanks to Topgun aka Bill for just taking his time to show us his Oliver aka “Twist” and all his help getting us started on this next chapter in life. Bill you really did a great job showing us your Ollie. We really look forward to delivery day and the Oliver Rally and especially meeting everyone and learning as much as we can. Yes we know delivery day will be like drinking water from a fire hose, surely we’ll get through it. 😂 We feel very confident the Oliver folks will take good care of us. Kind Regards & Happy Camping! David & Kathy Austin
