  1. A little different point of view here from our field experience. While on lengthy 42 and 48 day trips out west in the last two years we really appreciated the outward strong light pattern that both the porch and courtesy lights throw out. In the high desert there is plenty of rattle snake activity and other savaging critters hanging around campsites. Same applies here in the Blue Ridge Mountains. From a security point of view we like the super bright courtesy and porch lighting. A huge plus if an unknown person decides to knock on our camper door at night. These lights really do an amazing job. We like bright lights where we need it when we want it. 👍🏻 All this said, we use our lights very conservatively and do not leave them on all night resulting in unhappy camping neighbors. There are trade offs for sure! Let there be light!! 😊
  2. Not sure this is an exact replica of the Oliver porch light, but it appears pretty close. https://itcshopnow.com/products/assurance-exterior-flood-light?
  3. I don’t know the full details, it was what I learned during a conversation while at the recent rally. With the Mini, there is no need for an additional plug. Maybe these plugs would be for regular standard SL set up.
  4. Just speculating on other possible changes here.😎 New upgraded sound system? New style/type of flooring and update on seat cushion color/cover options? A direct dedicated plug for Starlink? Induction cook top similar to the (pic) replacing the LP burners maybe? 🤔
  5. It’s a common theme here John. What rules? Seems like anything goes! 🤣
  6. Yes, they look nice, and there is more to come! 😊
  7. Yes, it’s much easier to remove the streaks for sure. When not on the road, I park our Oliver in our “Ollie Hangar” here at home. It has really helped keep it clean and streak free and out of the UV.
  8. It’s also good to be aware these products will not play well with wax and especially ceramic coatings.
  9. With storage space at a premium, we have been using this Pro Breeze since Feb of 2020. - https://www.amazon.com/Pro-Breeze-Electric-Dehumidifier-Portable it has served us well and packs up small. It is quiet and has an automatic shut off when it becomes full. We store it on the closet floor when underway.
  10. Nice trip pics, keep em coming! 👍🏻🇺🇸😊
  11. For any Oliver owners that have an interest in rear mud flaps. I sent David Hess at Sea Biscuit the info on this thread about rear mud flaps for Olivers. I would not be surprised if Sea Biscuit starts fabricating and selling a nice set of rear mud flaps for our Olivers. @connor77 has also been instrumental working with Sea Biscuit to possibly get this mod into production. 👍🏻 Stay tuned! 🇺🇸
  12. The only huge issue I would have with acrylic windows is how easy they scratch. Polishing scratches out of acrylic windows is a non starter for me. Let’s hope for future owners that the windows will be tilt out and glass and insulated.
  13. Of course the really “cool beans” would come at a much higher price for sure GJ which would surely be passed on. 😊
  14. It sure would be a price point game changer. Cha Ching!! 😎 💸🤑
  15. I don’t think it will be full tilt out….only time will tell.
  16. Looking great! Nice field feedback on the new grill! The only thing missing in those pancakes are blueberries! 🫐 😋
  17. A year out is the park policy on reservations for both Alabama residents and out of state folks too. Just a reminder you will have to pay in full for the dates you reserve. The park used to take just a deposit for one day to reserve your site for the rally. Not anymore, now you pay for all the days you have reserved up front.
  18. Here are the silicone AT holders I use. I use a zip tie to hold them in place where I hide them. I also use adhesive backed type holders. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09468VZ5W?psc=1&ref=ppx_pop_dt_b_asin_image
  19. I placed ours inside the inside or interior of the hull and it works fine. The idea is to allow it to be placed where another cell phone will pick up the signal the AT is sending. The inside AC might be good as long as the adhesive on the AT holder does not fail and you loose it. I have one hidden in my Honda generator, TV, car, as well.
  20. Just following up…..did Oliver provide a fix for your issue? If so care to share?
  21. I heard the same, and an 8” tilt out would be reduced air flow vs existing the windows with cross ventilation. I really don’t have a dog in the fight and have not had any issues with my current windows which provide great cross ventilation. Just regular maintenance in keeping the tracks and weep holes clean and all is good. It will be interesting to see what supplier of tilt out windows the Oliver engineers roll with.
  22. The only important detail missing is exactly which model/manufacturer tilt out window Oliver will choose as a supplier. 🤔 The window you show appears to be a basic lexan non double pane style? My understanding is the new windows will be insulated, tinted glass, and double pane and hopefully up fitted with no see um screens. Then what sort of privacy shade will the new windows have? Lots of details to be worked out for sure. So for now it’s pretty much a wait and see. Hopefully for future owners they will fully tilt out.
  23. In my discussion with Scott Oliver while at the rally, the possible “retro fit” of the new double pane/insulated awning tilt out windows is something they are considering. (This will be expensive to retrofit if it can be done). Scott said that the engineering dept is working on it. The only concern I have is sacrificing the great cross ventilation of the existing windows which we really like. The tilt out windows have their pros and cons, but will also really limit cross ventilation. It will be interesting to see how this unfolds.
  24. Cozy is an understatement! Making fun memories for sure. 😊 Glad your trip was a success. Really digging that Earth Roamer Beast 💯. - https://earthroamer.com/sx-explore/? 🤩
  25. I suppose anything is possible. I removed the speaker from the tag, to make it very difficult to locate without hearing it.
