That was my thought, too. That the charge wizard on on progressive dynamics drops into a float charge after the battery is unused for a period of time. I've not actually observed that, since we're almost always powered by the solar panels.

I agree . 2nd link was way out there. Both, however, talk about replacing/adding. In a camper, unless you are living in it, full cycles are pretty limited. With lithium, a good bms, as I understand it, "adds up" partials to full cycles. Even so, degradation is pretty slow with lithium. I have two Tesla house batteries, ar home. You might want to ask that question on Will Prowse's DIY solar forum. Adding an additional lithium battery to a bank isn't uncommon. In this thread, I didn't see a response from Will, but several very active members responded. https://diysolarforum.com/threads/add-another-battery-to-the-bank.4258/ It's still a question of "weakest" battery, I think, but the degradation is so much slower with lifepo4. Sherry PS, if we ever change up to lithium, we'll use the biggest two we can fit in the tray. Same reason. Also, one of the reasons we've never used 6v batteries in our two battery tray. If one goes, we're dead in the water, so to speak. On the boat, each bank of 6v's has multiple batteries. If something goes wrong, we can cut out one pair. The 2008 Ollie Elite tray only has room for two batteries. Sherry

We attached our paper towel holder first with double-sided tape to be sure we liked the placement. About a year later, Paul fastened it with small bolts through the underside of the cabinet. We use industrial velcro for a lot of quick access items. Flashlights, remote controls, etc. Rough face on the trailer, soft on the item. The clear bins, sold for bathroom storage, have been in use for over twelve years. We leave them up when we travel. They're fastened with suction cups. These little bins have given me a lot of extra storage in the tiny kitchen. I have two suction cup towel rings, as well. Lots of command hooks spotted around the trailer. Command strips are great. The only plumbing we've ever wrecked by freezing (not winterizing early enough, camper in outside storage) was the outside shower. A shutoff inside for cold weather camping would be a nice mod, or factory option.

It's easy, but not inexpensive. Unless you can do it yourself. Even then, zippers and fabric are not very inexpensive. I'm redoing my patio furniture this winter. At a bargain closeout site, my fabric was close to $200, ykk zippers more $, and good thread, more $. My labor, of course, is "free." Small 3 seater sofa, 2 seater love seat, 2 chairs. 14 cushions. That's just sunbrella type, not brand fabric. Ultra would be double, at least, on even my favorite closeout sites. I personally think a blue and/or green fabric in the mix would be a nice change.

Here in Florida, plumbers often call them by a brand name, Studor valve.

Actually, for serious Aussie outback, I like everything about the Bruder, except the 100k+ price tag, of course.

It's important to note that the Elite is smaller, and lighter, than the Elite II. Not for nothing, but the range of available tow vehicles is much wider with our smaller trailers. Sherry

It's really nice for me to see "Mountainborn's topic" pop up in my feed. So, thanks for that, Susan Huff. Larry and Betty, (mountainborn) were the original Ollie pioneers. His grainy cellphone youtube videos brought a bunch of us into the first 50 ownership group. They're both amazing people, with vast camping, life, and outdoor experience, and we feel blessed to count them as friends. Sherry

Shallowgal, I put several of a similar type light on the top and bottom treads of our home staircases. Really helpful when we forget to turn on the overhead light.love them. I've also thought about putting one in the bathroom of the Ollie. I'm used to a motion sensor light in our home bathroom. In our little shorty, I could see them useful on the outside step. I can find my way (3 steps) to the bathroom by the light of the stereo.
