3500 pound versus 5200 pound axles on a LE2
John Dorrer replied to John and Debbie's topic in General Discussion
According to Oliver all 2022 LE2 's received 5200 lb. axles, with Nev-R-Lube axles/hubs, Nev-Adjust brakes. His trailer is 200+ Hull #'s after oursπ -
Inverter should be off unless using microwave, outlets, or watching TV
-
Your outlets will only work with shore power, a generator, or with an inverter turned on if you have one. More information is required. What batteries do you have

πππ Hope you have many years of great camping, Hull #1045, Jolli Olli.

I tried to help themπ. Our 2022 axel sticker, posted earlier in this thread, also has the reference to the Never Adjust brakes. -

According to Oliver the 2022's are Nev-R-Lub. I suggest you contact Oliver on Monday. -

You should never have to touch bearings on the Nev-R-Lube axels for 100,000 miles. Your suspension should be inspected every 12,000 miles. Contact Dexter and Oliver. -

JD, He has a 100,000 mile warranty on the hubs/bearings. He shouldn't have to do anything with the bearings according to the 2022 manual. I also believe the hubs are sealed. -

Never Lube are warrantees for 100,000 miles. The hubs shouldn't be touched. In fact I believe the hubs are sealed. -

The 2022 -2025 Oliver's have Never Lub axels (hubs). Never Lub axels are warranteed for 100,000 miles. Your 16 Zerks are the only thing that needs to be greased and serviced, in addition to annual inspection of the entire suspension. -

You have the 5200 on your 2022. It is on your axel sticker -
Drop the nose a little. Is it dead level now?
-
Exactly. I had no interest in rewiring. Still have the box with other items in the event one needs to be replaced.
-
Oliver forgot to put the backer on ours. It was very loose. They sent me a new box under warranty, and I removed the plate and installed on the existing outlet.

Ollie Haus found a post I did on remounting the inverter board back on 2024. I forgot I had posted.π

UPDATE: Shades are new Probably the same frame/blinds as current Olivers. The windows and frames/blinds operate independently. Please post the other changes Thank You

The problem as I see it, is being able to remove them if they are a single unit with a snug fit. With individual chocks placed on either side of one tire or behind the rear and in front of the front tire, you can pull forward to remove the rear chock and then back up to pull the front. My wife is the chock person when we are getting ready to hit the road. Chocks are meant to be hammered in place with a rubber mallet to prevent any movement of the trailer. IMO there is zero value to doing what you suggest. You would struggle trying to get a molded piece out. Bad idea. I wouldn't want that even if there was an adjustable mechanism. I want control knowing my chocks are tight to the tire.

After removing the old adhesive, I wiped the board and fiberglass with rubbing alcohol to achieve a very clean surface.
-
Mine did that I scraped that off and applied a heavy duty Gorilla Adhesive, re-adhered with compression and have had no issues since. Set blocking underneath to keep it in position

Awesome write-up. Thanks for taking the time to share your story.π
