  1. The rubber strips are not screwed into place. They are glued to the top of the frame members and the lower, outer shell is simply sitting on top of them. There are several (unimportant) reasons for these strips moving and sometimes becoming displaced. The important thing to you is to get it back into place. The easiest scenario is to take it back to the factory and they will happily fix it for you. Your profile is missing any pertinent information about where you live and I assume it's unlikely you are close enough to return. What you can do to fix this: Make sure the fresh water and gray tank is empty (no sense in lifting extra weight.) Take a 4x4 or 4x6 lawn timber and cut it short enough to go between the frame rails (about 5 feet or so.) Place it under the trailer adjacent to the cross member with the displaced rubber strip. Put a scissors-type jack about 15 inches from each end and gently lift the underside of the body (1/4" will do) and slide the strip back into place (soapy water will definitely help.) Put a little caulk along side it and it won't move again. This little bit of movement will not harm the trailer. A helper or two would be nice so both jacks can be moved at once.

  2. The attached three images shows a plumbing flow diagram rather than an approximate physical layout diagram. The images are for later Legacy II models. I print out all three and lay them out side by side when trying to follow water flow. Please advise of any errors or omissions.

  3. I have one of the LEII models with two sets of valves. Like CedarForks, I spent time figuring out what each valve does. I made a summary document, which if I uploaded the file correctly, others can download. I have a copy taped up on the inside of the pantry door. 4. This is exactly what the system is designed to do. The air conditioner is not coming on, it’s the heat strips (and a/c fan) that are coming on to aid the furnace in rapidly bringing the temperature up to the thermostat set point. Auto fan setting bypasses this function.

  5. This is a LOCKED thread. I wanted to put all my links in one spot so that they are easy for folks to find. Search remains a real problem with this forum! This thread does not allow comments. If you have questions, find a dead link or just want to talk, you can comment on the appropriate thread, or start a new thread or just Message me. I will add to this page as I start new threads, so hopefully it will continue to be a good up-to-date reference. NEWEST POSTS ARE AT THE TOP. I am not going to bother to alphabetize them, LOL. I put a link to this page in my signature, so you can get here directly from any of my comments. 6. The family and I were super excited to take delivery our new trailer last week. Hull #476. Unbeknownst to me the 2 kids decided the name was going to Little Timmy. Why? I haven't got a clue but they won't give it up and I have to say it's growing on me. We are natives to California so we plan on dishing out a lot of West coast Oliver hype! The Oliver folks at Hohenwald were awesome. Thanks for the pizza and keeping the little rugrats entertained during the walk through. Thanks The Barnhardt Family

  7. David S. brought this to our attention sime time ago. We ask people to use private messages, or pms, when sharing contact info (email addresses, phone numbers,et), to avoid that information being swept up by spammers, bots, and bad guys. Private messages are just that-- private. Only you, and the intended recipient can see them. But, some members are new to forums, and our private message system can be a multistep process. The simplest way to send a private message (pm) is to log in, click on the three horizontal bars top right ( dropdown menu button.) Click on the envelope. Click on compose new. Start typing the first few letters of the user's screen name, and when you see the correct name, start writing your email. Proofread, and hit send. Done. ( note: this is a much simpler process than our old system!) Alternatively, if the person you would like to pm has a recent post, click on his username anywhere it appears in bold... in a post, at the recent users at the bottom of the page, or even in the "thanked by" section at the bottom of a post. Clicking on the username will take you to the user profile, and you'll see an envelope. Clicking here will take you to the message box, where you can type your message, proofread, and hit send. I added a few screenshots in the next post below as visual aids. Sherry

  8. CedarForks, Very nice work. All trailers will have a check valve in the black flush line and some have a ball valve as well. Additionally, all of the early models used two 3-way valves in place of the four on-off ball valves to accomplish the same task. Some also have flush valves in the hot water line. Thanks for your effort

  10. You can always pump the water out with the water pump. It is faster that way and won’t hurt anything. If you don’t want to fill your gray tank you can lock the outside shower handle on and let it water the roses.... The belly drain is not the fastest setup, for sure, even with the tongue raised a little. John Davies Spokane WA

  11. I understand the want for other floor plans, we have a Casita and an Elite II on order at this time with a July 8th delivery date for the Oliver. On the Casita forum Casita owners are constantly asking for a 21 foot Casita, but like most fiberglass trailers these plants are at a 3-6 month wait time just for you to get a trailer. As a manufacture of these trailers would you want to add another trailer line that would just in dollars be very costly to the manufacture, I would think not. I've never thought the Oliver as being an family trailer, that is sleeping 4 people, as well as the Casita. I guess the Oliver could put bunk beds in over the twin bed models, at what cost for the new molds I have no idea, but just to add new options like that probably won't add many more sales to the bottom line and I would think not cost effective. Personally it I owned a fiberglass trailer manufacturing company that is one of the big five I would be smiling all the way to the bank everyday and probably not want to change what I have a the present time. Remember RV sales are good today, but like anything else sales go up and down depending on what the economy is doing, tomorrow it may change. Remember also that Oliver went through a time period like this and they were in a position to recover, most would have been gone for good, thank goodness for good planing by the Oliver family. trainman

  13. After taking Mike's suggestion, don't worry about it (too much). All you are doing with the fresh water tank is sanitizing it. Assuming that you have done the bleach and flush routine simply take a sniff of the water that is left in the tank. If it still smells like bleach then either flush it another time or two and/or add a small amount of baking soda before you flush it that final time. Even if there is a hint of bleach odor left after flushing - it will not harm you. Bill

  17. Do you have the standard 6 gal unit or the Truma? If the former.... Do you mean your heater had the drain/ anode plug removed and the cavity was empty? If so Oliver needs to send you one. In your shoes I would just order these ASAP and wait for the replacement from Howenwald. It might take a while to arrive. That way you will have spares. https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B07CHNPZ79/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Be sure to use teflon tape on the threads and screw it in tight, but not stupid tight. It will be harder to get out by winter.. John Davies Spokane WA
