That was it Galwaygirl! Thank you! It boiled down to simply rescanning after a cable connection. That's probably what Mike was also implying, but I didn't get it. Thank you guys...We love you.4 points

Also in the 2019 and I assume in yours. When you are connected up to a cable port outside the trailer it comes into the "amplifier" in the attic. The AMP is ON when the red lamp is lit. It's only supposed to be on to receive off the air HDTV channels via your antenna. The red light (and amplifier) needs to be OFF to receive CATV , then do a channel scan for the CATV input that is feeding the TV from the CATV pedestal.2 points

This was exactly how I was able to identify the moisture, by removing the left partition in the attic (and the associated electrical outlet and antenna box) to get to the base plate of my corner TV and mount. There was no moisture in the main attic itself...just on the ceiling behind the white reflectix in the dark cauldron of tangled wires! I did not want to mess with removing wires or cords that someone after me might want so I they just got zip tied and neatly placed inside. The moisture was fairly prevalent on the ceiling surface. I know it's not my rear upper taillight as that was properly sealed this past summer. I will check it again in a few days when the weather changes. Thanks for your help.2 points

You might be referring to the LevelMate Pro. I has this on my previous trailer and really like it. A small device is mounted in the trailer and when turned on, connects to an app on your phone. The app presents a visual of your trailer indicating which side or end is unlevel and by how much (inches). I could sit in the truck and back or pull forward onto curved lifts and watch the app adjust as the trailer moved. When leveled at 0” it also turns from red to green as visual signal.1 point

I do mine the old fashion way, I wash it every month and buff if once a years with an auto buffer and the correct fiberglass compounds for buffing. I do admit that a cover would be much easier to deal with, but why change the way I do thing now at my age. trainman1 point

That wall mount amplifier channel is hooked up to the HDTV antenna. So when it's on , that input becomes the most powerful input and your TV won't see any CATV channels. So when you turn it off, then the CATV scan should find the CATV channels. One last thing, in my Hull 505 the factory had inadvertently wired the CATV input (outside) to the Satellite input and vice versa. So if you still don't get anything, stick the outdoor cable into the other outside input and rescan. After that I don't know what to tell you. CS1 point

Since you bought your Oliver used, have you ruled out a water leak as the source of the moisture you are seeing? The illuminated Oliver logo above the rear window is a potential leak point into that attic area where the television wiring is.1 point

Interesting visual! I'm well aware of condensation as I had a fiberglass Casita for ten years with single pane windows.. Double hull is a whole nuther animal!!1 point

I installed a Victron 100/30 solar charge controller in the Oliver and connected it to the zamp outlet to test the truck bed solar. The panels on the truck bed are wired in series so it is only around 5 amps which allows for using cheap 12 gauge landscape wire. Panels were flat until around 2 pm when I raised them up. The truck was facing southwest and I am located just south of Atlanta. Total yield for the day from just the truck panels was 1.77 KWH. This will be plenty to run the iceco fridge and add additional power to the Oliver batteries.1 point

I would like to point out one important factor! If you normally use the city water connection, the leak under the sink could go on for a very long time before it was discovered. OTH, If you normally use the 12 volt water pump, it would immediately be obvious that the system was not holding pressure, because the pump would cycle rapidly. I have never looked under my sink (though I plan to ASAP) but I know that the pressure hoses are OK, but there still could be leakage from the sink drain and trap. This should probably be added to your annual maintenance checklist. I am going to investigate, and think about installing a stainless drip tray with a drain hose going out the bottom of the cabinet. Replace the warped, delaminated, blackened wood, that is mold! You don’t want to keep that inside your trailer. I can’t tell you how to remove that entire cabinet, but that is what I would do. If you can’t do the woodwork repair yourself, find a woodworker shop to do it correctly. You must use the blue plastic clip to hold those two sprayer hose parts together, did you find that, and is it broken? It won’t stay together without that clip. You should also put a new oring on that upper part, the old one could be damaged. Now it’s time to look under my sink…..😳 John Davies Spokane WA1 point

If you are at all "handy", have the time and want to save a bit of coin HERE is a YouTube video that shows you how to make your own version of Andersen Levelers. Bill1 point

I just finished getting the Solar panels put together and attached to the bed cover. Panels are attached together with 1/8 inch aluminum angle and 304 stainless bolts. After much research I decided to just build some mounts out of aluminum. Every time I got on the 8020 site I ended up with a 500-600 dollar rack and this is really the only thing that will travel on the bed cover. I bought an SOK 100 AH battery that will be fed by these panels to run my ICECO fridge/freezer in the truck bed. The battery has bluetooth and a built in heater and is very well made. $630 direct from SOK. The panels are 100 watt 9BB panels from BougeRV. Testing them in the driveway here south of Atlanta I was getting some pretty impressive yields. They are wired in series and feed a Victron 100/30 MPPT SCC. I am going to connect the panels to the charge controller through some Anderson Powerpole connectors. By doing this it will be easy to disconnect from the victron in the truck and connect these to soon to be installed victron MPPT in the Oliver. Since they are run in series and put out plenty of voltage and I can park the truck in the sun and not need a large gauge wire on the run to the trailer. John1 point

Bill... I have the Andersen levelers.... Did you need to "shorten" them at all... or did they fit right out of the box? We are leaving end of April to pick up our Ollie and I'm trying to be as ready as possible for a month of traveling immediately following that day 🙂1 point

I like the Anderson levelers, but I actually broke one, I think the level raised up and caught the back tire when rolling off of them. I just pitched it in the trash and ordered a new one as I felt it was probably my fault, probably the wrong thing to do as I read they have a lifetime warranty, oh well on that. I've already forgotten about it till someone started talking about levelers. trainman1 point
