  1. We picked up our twin bed Legacy Elite II just over 1 week ago. Has the AGM's, solar, Truma AquaGo® Water Heater , fiber granite, etc. - really everything but the Wi-Fi, Satellite stuff, camera's, table, upgrade bedding and cell booster. (5200 lbs. sticker at delivery) I added to my build a spare set of axle replacement seals and bearings, and a complete tire/rim (yes that makes two). So far I have been impressed with the overall integration of the sum of its "parts" into a very functional unit that is well executed. I've run everything but the heat system, plenty of that naturally right now. It is very impressive that Oliver has thought through the process and has included in the delivery the various items needed to actually use the unit - the hoses, adaptors, water pressure reducer, etc. There is a lot to like about the unit, many of you, as owners, know what that is, so my few "complaints" are as follows: 1.Don't understand the shower curtain process - it just doesn't work. Will find a better answer - probably figure out a way to keep water off/out of the Natures Head, and call it a day. 2.Had a small area of unfinished exterior surface prep (about palm size). A little elbow work. 400/600/1200 sandpaper and polish took care of it. 3. After one week of airing it out - the fiberglass and resin smell is still there - I expect this to diminish over time. Yes the AC is loud - but that was expected. The "22” Flat Screen LCD TV, Radio with FM & AM Dual Zone Audio Output, CD/DVD/MP/WMA/MP4, USB, Bluetooth & Remote Control" - whew -works much better than I expected, and the lighting and switch options ae really well done. The DC/usb port lights are annoying if you don't plug in the rubber cover. That's about it - so far. I have installed magnets to keep the bathroom door open, used 3m double side tape - works great. Re engineered my Thule bike rack to install on the rear of the Ollie. It works well and looks very similar to the former factory option. As they discontinued the factory option. Interesting that the tow cable hooks are too large to fit the hitch attachment locations on my GMC. Had to buy some heavy duty large carabiners to make the transition. I Amazoned a box of the recommended grease, a new dedicated grease gun, the Anderson wheel chocks, and the door magnets. Still have to source spare fuses - by the way, Oliver is now putting 2 amp fuses in the Natures Head circuit. I purchased a Gushill lock for the bulldog hitch, and also lock the leaver - thus theft now represents to much trouble - the thieves will move on to the next rube. Or unbolt the Bulldog…. Did you know Dometic fridge/freezer maintains 40 degree at setting 2. Inquiring minds and all. And the Heat/cool T stat is accurate - within reason. Towing was fine, The Anderson worked as advertised, but I have sourced a new TV, perhaps overkill with the 2500, but hey, a man and his toys. (Cindy likes the truck - a bonus) That's it - a satisfied owner - to date. As an aside - the purchase price for these units is hard to justify - unless and until you go through the details of the build, the standard options, and the execution. Take it home, crawl around, crawl underneath, poke it, pull it, use it - the value becomes much more compelling. With that - to all a good day!

  2. That looks like a washer from the right side sprocket on the mucket mill transducer located just aft of the Gbic expansion module on the port side. You'll need a metric left handed wind-up wrench to properly reinstall it. Make sure the back side of the washer is facing out and don't over tighten the retaining ring.

  3. The model I have is the IBR900. I have their 5 in 1 antenna, which has 2 cell antennas, 2 wifi and a GPS antenna. The router itself comes with antennas, and in retrospect, I probably should have tried using them first before paying extra for an external antenna. And, even with an external antenna, it probably would have been wiser to get their 3 in 1, which just has 1 each of the cell and wifi antennas, and use the included antennas for the other two. In fact, I might try unhooking one of the external wifi antennas and use the included one instead, just because it probably makes more sense to have one inside the trailer. Not that we've had any connection problems. Here's where I've mounted the router and antenna: Mounting the antenna was scary since I had to drill through the roof, but actually very easy to do. I think it was a ½" hole through which you stick the cables and a threaded rod and then secure it from inside the attic. I think the bottom of the antenna had 3M tape also. Easy. I caulked it both at the hole and the perimeter, and I think it will be fine. Since I don't have a stereo, I used that circuit to power the router. In addition to wifi, it has two ethernet ports on the back, which came in handy for me as I could connect it directly to my Victron control panel for a full time internet connection. I added an ethernet switch to the other port just because I had one lying around so why not. I don't know what I'd use it for though. I'd say that the initial setup is actually pretty easy. Just insert your sim, plug it in and then connect to it via your phone or tablet. Then it asks you to change the wifi name and password and maybe a few other things and then you're good to go. Like a cable router that you might have at home, you can connect to the Cradlepoint in your browser by entering its IP address and it gives you an administrator page through which you can adjust any settings: What makes it less user friendly is doing things like connecting to an outside wifi for internet, which isn't intuitive in the least. So unintuitive, in fact, that I actually had no idea that it was even a feature until I ran across "WiFi as WAN" in the manual and wondered what on earth that meant.

  4. Some comments about the WeBoost cellular booster and the WiFi Ranger. We are camped at Paradise campground (NFS) on the McKenzie River in the Oregon Cascades. Our Verizon phones have zero to one bar, and my Jetpack has zero to one bar. With the cellular booster they have three bars. My WiFi Ranger is connected to the Jetpack. I can now sit by the river and get, quite honestly, mediocre connectivity. Without the WiFi Ranger I would have mediocre connectivity, but only at the dinette. I like the combined power of the WeBoost cellular booster and the WiFi Ranger. We do not choose our campsites based on cell signals. This area is gorgeous. We had a great hike this morning and saw a bunch of waterfalls.

  5. And therein lies the answer to "why" these parts are not used in your everyday units, or even the Oliver Travel Trailer. 99.9% of owners have no desire to go very far off road or certainly to venture into "Third World countries" so there's no vital need for higher end appliances. Very few people's lives will ever depend on the reliability of the water pumps and refrigerators that are used in our Oliver's. John, overall you seem disappointed with the capabilities and build quality of your Oliver. I'm surprised you've not traded for an Earthroamer or whatever.

  6. I think this has got to be the best $5 mod that you can do!

  7. We could get Coy to have the park block off the back way up to the lodge and could have a hill climb from the campground to the lodge. :-)

  8. John E., The next time it happens I will attempt your exercise. Thank you. So far, so good. Though no plumber, I do think it has something to do with both the pump and valves. Setting two inches on a downward slope to nose may have commenced whatever caused the tank to overflow at a reading of 67%. Interesting to me that when leveled, and reading 100%, the ground stayed dry as a bone. I rely on you good folks of the forum to keep me going, and in extreme respects, in the long run, keep me alive.

  9. Update #2: The fresh water tank never did overflow again before we packed up yesterday to leave the park. The tank gauge read 67% which was due most likely to the trailer not being level and nose pointing down probably at least two inches because I did not want to unhook for only one night. It is quite possible the not-level trailer contributed, or was the catalyst, for the overflow problem. Nonetheless, no more overflow happened after following Randy's suggestion on the outside shower. Upon arriving at our new campsite yesterday afternoon we leveled the trailer perfectly (unhooked as we are staying here three nights), hooked up to city water, and waited for the overflow. It has been twenty hours so far and still no overflow problem. Out of curiosity (instead of due diligence) I checked the gauge this morning and the fresh water tank read 100%. This tells me the system is working properly and the glitch is somewhere between the pump and the trailer not being level. If I can correct the overflow by simply turning off the hose, turning on the pump, running the shower off the fresh water tank, and then securely turning off the faucets before turning the city water back on, then I am okay with it. It just aggravates me to have to tear the bed up to get into the basement on a regular basis. I will continue to add updates, if needed, for anyone interested or who might have the same problem one day. For those who don't, or are not interested, my apologies. And please delete me.

  10. We just got the small door magnets. On Command strips hold one on the bottom of the door and one on the side under the dinette seat. They work well and not very noticeable at all. Mike
