Elizabeth and I have an agreement in hand to sell #64. Assuming all goes as planned we will be trailerless after this July 2020 weekend. I know you will be welcoming to the new owners as they begin their journey. FYI, we are healthy When we bought 64, we planned to own it a couple of years to do some travel that was in our bucket list. We have owned her almost four years and the bucket is full, so rather than just have her parked, we reluctantly decided to sell. We do plan to continue to snowbird, but rather than months in a 23' space, we elect to rent a park home or condo. Wanted to stop by here for what will likely be my final post and thank Oliver TT, especially Jason, for their help. More importantly, I want to thank those of you who have befriended us, shared times, and even helped us when we were befuddled new kids. We have pictures and souvenirs to remember many of you by, and will be looking at our nostalgic Ollie days well into the future. Keep doing what you do. Love you guys and will miss you.5 points

I think that's a good point about the springs. Plus they're just slightly oversized for where it would need to go, which is on the belly band just inside the door frame. Almost, but not quite. But the Sealux magnet would fit nicely there. The Sealux has magnets on both pieces, which is why it's as strong as it is.2 points

@Patriot Lookin' good! I know, it has nothing to do with gutters, but what color are your decals?1 point

It sounds like the water was resting between the butyl sealant and the silicone and it had to be escaping somehow before you breached the dam. I’m guessing that one scenario that has not happened since you removed the silicone is wind driven water. Such as driving 60 mph in the rain. You might be able to simulate that in your driveway with a hose and a leaf blower. So which sealant did you decide to use and can you explain your MOP for removing the existing silicone/sealant and prepping the area for the new silicone/sealant. And following up on Landrover's suggestion of leaving a leak point or two, maybe something like a mini straw or plastic coffee stirring straw would work. Mossey1 point

Overland maybe if you Decide to re caulk the widow skip a space or two at the bottom then see if you still get water from the window frame.1 point

That looks really nice, Patriot! I think the painter's tape is a good idea for the first day. Sherry1 point

A beautiful 78 degree gorgeous North Carolina foothills morning and time for Hull# 634 to have EZE gutters installed. The install went really well and we are happy with the results. My bride was my extra set of hands which really helped. I will leave the painters tape on for another day or two ensuring a good curing of gutter adhesion material. We let the gutter material heat up in the sun which made it easier to work with. We ordered the Bright White gutter color for our 2020 Ollie which matched up perfect. We even did a gen set cargo box fit check with our new Honda Handi eu3000i and all is well. Thanks to everyone who posted up on EZE gutter install info. Another mod done! -David1 point

I like the look of the new cooktop. I especially like that it doesn't have those little rubber grommets holding the grates on. I'm always chasing those around whenever I clean. I've lost one and a couple more are split. I seem to remember someone posting a link to replacements and them being stupidly expensive.1 point

I didn’t notice the difference in the two pucks when I was looking at the Froli website, but looking at the picture you attached it’s pretty obvious. So now I assume that one puck is the magnet and the other is passive. If this is in fact the case, they definitely wouldn’t work on the entrance door without some additional mounting hardware. And you are absolutely right about the long term viability of the hardware in an outdoor environment unless it is fact geared toward a marine environment. Mossey1 point

Not everyone experiences joy through total minimalism. And, that's ok. We all have different styles and goals.1 point

That looks awful! I know some sealants don't like butyl. I'd love to know what they used, so that I never buy any. We'll probably never know, though. My best guess, someone grabbed a gun loaded with an interior bathroom caulk, without uv protection. 3m 4200 will turn yellow quickly, because it has no uv. Hope it's not that, as it's much harder to remove than silicone. I don't think we've ever used a white butyl (just grey), so I can't speak from personal experience, there, either. I saw a post on Facebook about the silicone Oliver is currently using. I'll see if I find any complaints elsewhere about yellowing. I'm really sorry for you. It's very noticeable, and unattractive.
