  1. Received this card from a longtime sailing friend today. Seemed appropriate. Loved the vid. I only snow camp by accident. Splendid in the Ollie. Not so great in my tent, back in the day. 😀
  2. https://www.fs.usda.gov/detailfull/prescott/maps-pubs/?cid=fseprd586426 Same map here: https://www.visitarizona.com/plan/maps-guides/ Is this what you were looking for @jd1923?
  3. The isotherm freezer "hinges" are just small plastic tabs. In my experience, easily broken. I dry the freezer compartment before storage, and the "drain tray", and just leave the door of fridge cracked a bit, propped open so the light doesn't go on, and right against the door so can't open further, towel in the crack. Only repair ever to my isotherm/truckfridge has been replacing the freezer dor, because of the tiny plastic hinge pins. And, my negligence in not defrosting early enough. My bad.
  4. Happy camping and happy New Year!
  5. Congratulations! Always happy to welcome another Ollie to the Sunshine State! Welcome home!
  6. There are only a few miles of route 66 through Kansas, but it's actually kind if pretty. https://www.nps.gov/articles/000/route-66-kansas-places.htm#:~:text=Despite its short length%2C the,%2C Riverton%2C and Baxter Springs.
  7. Ditto on my 2005 Silverado. We keep what works.
  8. Congratulations. Welcome, and glad to see #292 remains on her home state. Wishing you safe travels, and many miles of smiles.
  9. I would, for sure. A slim piece of marine plywood, solid hardwood or starboard, epoxied behind the inner hull . The table will add stress, loaded Haven't done this mod, but I'm always about overkill
  10. I actually have a 70s lava lamp in one of the guest bedrooms. No shag carpet, though. Lol
  11. State parks are primarily supported by state taxes. I have no problem paying extra to camp in state parks outside my state. Prime camping season in my state is winter. Out of states book it up, routinely. Makes it harder for families to book sites in season. I totally support additional fees for out of state. I've never complained in the states that charge me extra. I get it.
  12. Not everyone understands the differences in chemistry. Nor the ip ratings. It may be up to all of us to educate.
  13. Where are you leaving your trailer during your cruise? We get this question every year.
  14. @TxMN2020, we hope you enjoy your Ollie as much as we have enjoyed ours for the last (almost) 17 years. Welcome, and we're all here to help when you have questions Enjoy your travels!
  15. Some condos in Florida no longer allow eves in parking areas, because of the fire risk if submerged in saltwater. Most lifepo4 batteries are light enough to remove. And take home, if necessary . Interestingly, many new boats in Florida (which live in saltwater) are equipped with lithium batteries, but waterproof... like ours.
  16. I hope you are plugged in to shore power, if you are running on dc. F on a dometic means failure to light. Could have been an air bubble. Or many other issues... You won't "hear" much if you're running on dc. Or ac. Pretty much have to put your ear to the door , and you'll only hear something when the compressor is running. Not nearly as much heat exhausted at the vent, because you don't have flame, and all that heat.
  17. @Geronimo John you will love it, I'm sure I
  18. Changing settings on the blue sky controller is a bit tedious, but not that hard. (Old school dip switches. No blue tooth, etc. ) Send the amazing customer support guy at Blue Sky (Ryan) an email, with your phone number and email, and all equipment info, and he will likely be able to walk you through everything you need to do on the blue sky end.
  19. All the pd manuals are available online. https://www.progressivedyn.com/support-manuals-troubleshooting-guides/ If your unit that you bought used is suspect, and Amazon, start the return process, and just buy a new one. They're not that expensive, and you will have full support from progressive dynamics. Even though you bought it elsewhere, they are likely to help. Have model and serial # ready, and call their tech support. Best of luck.
  20. @DavidK truma will not usually install nor warranty a unit bought on ebay, or from anyone else but truma. Hull #26 would indicate an elite 1, which truma told me years ago they would retrofit. With their equipment, at their shop. In the early elites, it's a pretty easy swap. We have no ducting, so no retrofitting there, like early elite 2's . Good luck.
  21. Nice. During tick season, no one "re-wears" Outside of that, early spring/late fall/winter, in the east, that would work. Looks great.
  22. Our 2008 controllers are under the rear dinette seat. Very tight, but workable. I agree.
  23. You could do a John deere wrap on any pickup, if that's your thing. It's an internet creation. Sadly.
  24. Perhaps not all locations in the US are covered by dealers. It's a work in progress, I'm sure.
  25. We've been very happy with the replacement. We bedded it with butyl tape , and "built up" the low areas. Quiet, effective, love the night. It is more difficult to raise than the old ventline, but a) it doesn't leak, b) love, live love the overhead light, and c) it doesn't open underway. In all fairness, we never had an issue with rhe old vent line opening underway, either. Also love the serviceability. Fuse is easily accessible, unlike the ventline. We installed per instructions, 4 years ago, with the possible exception of using our go-to butyl tape instead of sealant/caulk .
