OK - I'm guessing that you are using a cell phone and that is what you did the screen shot that I see above. I did move your profile picture slightly higher for you but if you don't like it there you can simply move it back or let me know and I'll move it for you. Given the height difference between the two of you I do not see a way to get both of your faces in that picture without cropping the picture and moving your faces to the right. Assuming that I'm correct about the cell phone usage - please let me know - I'll have to investigate what can be done (if anything) to get more of your picture visible. Bill

I don't think that I'm absolutely sure of exactly what you are trying to do. However, if you are talking about the photo that is at the top of the page where your profile can be seen and/or changed (by you); you can easily "reposition" this photo (vertically only) by clicking on "cover photo" (located at the top right of the page). Then click on "reposition photo". This allows you to move the photo up and down until you get it positioned exactly where you want it. On the other hand - if you are trying to replace the "G" that shows along with your posts on the Forum then; Go to you profile page (simply click on the offending "G") and then click on that little blue "mountain picture" located at the bottom left of the "G" at the top of your profile page. Another menu page will pop up where you can upload a picture of your choice that will not have that blue "G" in it. Hope this helps! Bill

Again - I don't have a Truma, but, if I did I'm not sure that I'd turn that thing on until and unless I really did need hot water AND that hot water could not be supplied via heating it on the stove. With my memory and all of the other distractions that are out there I sure as heck would not want to walk away and come back to a pile of melted resin. Bill

She shows the water "disappearing" as it gets "combined chemically" with the Ethanol Shield. I don't find this unbelievable in that for years there have been products that you pour into your gas tank to rid the tank/gas of water. If you watch her video(s) she shows that the water settles to the bottom of the glass as it would in your tank and/or gas can. This means that it will stay there (for the most part) because water doesn't mix well with gas. This is where the Ethanol Shield comes in - it chemically combines with the water such that it is then drawn into the carburetor/engine so that it is burned during combustion. Make sense? As jd1923 points out, some products (like Sta-bil) really do not advertise that they do anything with water in the tank. They are products that primarily prevent gas from becoming "stale" very quickly and forming a "varnish". So, her comparison of Ethanol Shield versus Sta-bil is a bit unfair IMO. Bill

I'm not sure what I'd do if I were in this situation other than try to stay in very close contact with the folks in Oliver Service and I'm sure that I'd be just a frustrated as you must be. From what I know, Oliver is doing all it can - they simply can't get enough of the units quickly enough. Hopefully, Truma can get its production ramped up. Bill

While the video is interesting and seems to make sense are we really to believe that the folks at the other manufacturers of these gas stabilizers are all lying to us? Its a shame that in today's world we must question everything. What happened to plain and simple honesty? The 'easy" answer to that question is (of course) - money. 😪 Bill

I know nothing about LazyDays. However, a tour of the factory in Hohenwald will help you understand more exactly what you have in a camping trailer. If this visit to Hohenwald does fit into your schedule, I would strongly encourage you to do it. Besides the tour you will get a chance to meet Oliver personnel and get to know them. This might help you down the road when you have a question and/or need help - you will personally know who to call. Bill

Sure does look like the same stuff that is on mine too. If/when you replace it, be sure to clean, clean, clean the surface of the Oliver before going any further. Also, a nice low humidity, and warm to hot day when you can hold the new gasket in place for at least 24 hours would be advisable. Good luck! Bill

This very issue is what made me delay getting a ceramic coating in the first place. I had been told that once the first application had worn then the only way to get it renewed was to sand off the first application and start over. I thought that this just might lead to a "problem" down the road. In a rather casual conversation with the CGI guys a couple of years ago they advised me that the coating they used did not have to be totally removed in order to re-coat/re-fresh the finish. Bill

Yep - The Rally schedule historically has not been set/released until much later in the proceedings. However, with regards to past years - there is nothing happening at the Rally until after registration which doesn't start happening until after noon (or so) on Wednesday (April 30). On Thursday and Friday (May 1 & 2) there are usually morning seminars up in the main ballroom of the Lodge. It is possible that Saturday morning MIGHT be open and Sunday morning usually sees many owners head for home. Most afternoons and evenings are left open for visiting and vendor or owner presentations (usually in the vendor area and/or at the "beach pavilion"). Bill
