Where the Power Is and Isn’t
John Dorrer replied to Wandering Sagebrush's topic in General Discussion
Thanks for sharing. My sister-in-law, in La Marque, TX has the Genrac. -
Our Jolli Olli is our first travel trailer. 2 year anniversary is approaching and we couldn't be happier. Came from a pop-up truck camper, and the Olli interior is perfect for us and our lab

Our 2022 E2 doesn't put out much noticeable heat in the bathroom. I had to go under the sink for something else and found no kinks. I think the lack of airflow (heat) is related to the long distance from furnace to bathroom vent. We have the same thing in a bedroom and bathroom furthest from the furnace at home.

Last June we stopped for lunch at Petoskey Brewery in Petosley, MI. After lunch we were sitting in the truck with our Oliver in tow and a young lady knocked on the window. She introduced herself, as Ciera, Evon's granddaughter, and the granddaughter of the late Jim Oliver. She is working for I believe her uncle, Scott Oliver in his modular home construction headquartered in Linden, TN.

As others said. We ordered on 9/21 and our delivery date was to be 6/29/22. In December 2021, I got an email from our sales rep asking if we would like to move up our delivery date to 3/10/22. It took all of return email.....yes, yes, yes. Someone must have cancelled. We took delivery in the morning, moved to the campground. We checked all the systems. Hung around to noon the next day. We had a couple of small caulking items they addressed.

Heads to the front. We like being able to see the tv. The back just seemed too cramped I sleep on the curb side, CPAP sits on the stove glass with 12v plug right above. CPAP put away in the closet during the day.

Many of the COE campgrounds at Land between the Lakes are closed for the winter. Our favorite is Canal COE and it is closed in March. You will need to check the others. Smoky Mountain National Park is one of our favorites. You will still have cold temps and snow in the mountains in March. I would suggest taking the Natchez Trace Parkway from Hohenwald to Natchez, MS. Plenty of campgrounds and State Parks along the way. That heads you South to warmer temps. Head into Texas with unlimited State Parks and Big Bend National Park.

Welcome to the family. Spent 2-3 nights at the Boone KOA in October, out last stop on the Parkway, before heading to New River Gorge National Park and back to Indiana. On the app change #28 from 25 to 15. GCFI's are a PA. You would have to make the change on the inverter remote panel, since you can't plug in yet. You have to be plugged into use the app. Not sure if you can turn the inverter on at the remote and pull it up on your phone. This is the phone app icon you want. Just don't forget to switch it back.

Book Storage bins beneath twin bed “Wing”
John Dorrer replied to Mountainman198's topic in Ollie Modifications
Great idea. The bed overhang makes it hard for our lab, which helps keep her away from the return air vent. These would further help. At night her bed is up by the fridge. Now to get approval😎 -
It is a non-slide, no screen, emergency window for egress only.

Welcome and congrats from Hull #1045, Jolli Olli

You are correct. I went back and found the post. It was a cheap gauge to measure propane in the tank, "Not the GasStop.". As soon as he removed it and reconnected the line, the furnace fired right up

There have been several posts concerning furnaces not working (no flame) and full tanks. Nothing wrong with furnace including sail switch. It turns out the gas stop or emergency cut off were the culprits. They restricted the flow of propane. This provided insufficient flow to allow the furnace to start and operate properly. This information came from posts on Oliver Owners Facebook site.

I have placed some in the bathroom attic and a couple other attic areas. I have a piece I install at the outside door of the basement, and one covering the outside shower (small cut around the rear jack toggles). QUESTION: I want to install some over the driver's side bed for my wife. We have hyper-vent. Do I want to install the Reflectix between the hyper-vent and mattress or under the hyper-vent and directly over the fiberglass?
-
As noted earlier no more touch lights. With that said, I spoke to Mike about replacing all of mine with the new light and toggle switch. The new lights are larger. They would have to move the lights and do fiberglass repairs, making the job expensive. We bought some different touch lights that also have a night light, and Oliver will be installing those over sink and stove when we have our service work done next month.

Room for a work bench and shelves for storage on the side, maybe 20' wide. Probably not a big upcharge

Replacing city water inlet valve
John Dorrer replied to The Loonies's topic in Mechanical & Technical Tips
As Rich said, just need a 1/2" hex tool to tighten. -
Awesome. Merry Christmas

I went back toy charger and it is the regular USB, which will plug in just fine. This must have been a brain fart on my part. Not sure how I was thinking there was a "C" end.🙃

Thank You.

I just got hear aids and hoping someone can share their charging experience in their Oliver. Just purchased Oticon hearing aids. When plugged into shore Power, I can plug into 110. I can also use USB. The charging manual says to ensure that the power source is USB 2.0 compliant, with a minimum of 500mA output. The USB cord has the oval end. I don't have access to our Oliver right now to see what the USB looks like. Wonder if Oliver installs the new oval plug or the older that has a longer bottom leg with shorter upper leg. Worst case, I'm guessing I can purchase a 12-volt plug, that has the newer USB plug on the the end. Any advise would be appreciated.
