Therefore, (as with most things) it would be helpful if you let us know what model and year of Oliver you have. An easy way to do this is to simply add this type of information to your "signature". This one looks pretty close if not the exact one. ITC -is- one of the suppliers Oliver uses. I purchased table pedestal caps from them, as well as two additional pedestal mounts. I figured I could use them to make a base for the table to use it outside. (Never did) Since people are talking about the porch lights - those things are DAMN bright! I’d like to dim them or even install additional switches to enable me to turn on just one or two of them to avoid ruining everyone’s night vision. (Same with the killer-bright courtesy lights.) guess I’ll check that link to see if it says they’re dimmable or not. (Listing says they are dimmable. Guess that’s a new project.) As you already know - yes, they are dimmable. I know that for certain since I've got a dimmer on mine and have had it for the past 9 years. I keep telling myself that one day I'm going to change the way I wired it - I used the main feed that controls ALL of the lights. That means - if I dim one light, they all dim. Usually this is OK but there are those times when I'd prefer to just dim the exterior or the interior or the ..... srthomsen Posted Monday at 09:37 PM Posted Monday at 09:37 PM I would think that one could source some thin pliable plastic material (or even a thin metal) that could be hand formed to cover the top then project out and down past a point on the lense that would more efficiently direct the light down toward the ground rather than being directed outward. Maybe a 'shield' of sorts that would encompass the entire light and be mounted behind the light could be 3D printed. Just a thought. 2 2023 Elite #1403--2019 Ford F150--2.7 Ecoboost V6--10 speed auto--without Max Tow

You can get smooth white Kytex sheet from McMaster Carr and cut it and bend it with a heat gun and some wood blocks into a Z shape and attach to the side of the fiberglass with clear double sided silicone tape. I did this to the curb lights on our Oliver to redirect the curb lights straight down. For that I used some extruded aluminum Z channel, cut to 5" long, painted white and attached with the same double sided tape. I couldn't find aluminum Z channel big enough for the porch lights. The attached pictures illustrate the concept. While on lengthy 42 and 48 day trips out west in the last two years we really appreciated the outward strong light pattern that both the porch and courtesy lights throw out. In the high desert there is plenty of rattle snake activity and other savaging critters hanging around campsites. Same applies here in the Blue Ridge Mountains. From a security point of view we like the super bright courtesy and porch lighting. A huge plus if an unknown person decides to knock on our camper door at night. These lights really do an amazing job. We like bright lights where we need it when we want it. 👍🏻 All this said, we use our lights very conservatively and do not leave them on all night resulting in unhappy camping neighbors. There are trade offs for sure! Let there be light!! 😊 1 1 2020 OLEII - Hull #634 aka- “XPLOR” TV 2021 F350 6.7 liter Diesel Lariat Ultimate Tremor aka - “Beast of Burden” Retro upgrades - Truma Aventa 13.5 AC, Alcan 5 leaf pack, Alcan HD shackles & HD wet bolts, 5200lb never lube axles. Thanks for this Patriot. I've been wanting to add front and rear porch lights. I'll buy two of these for this purpose. A front porch light for unhitching if we get somewhere late or need something out of the back of the truck at night. I'll want switch outside next to the jack switches and will have to figure out how to get wiring between the hulls to the new light. The switch below the doghouse will be easy. I want a rear porch light too since there is no light pointing that direction. I'll likely use the "Rear Camera" switch for that since we don't use the camera and it seems odd to have a switch for that purpose anyway. The rear will be an easy installation since there is already switched power for the rear camera to use. With these lights, mounting two new lights at the same height (measure up from hull seam), we'd have 6 lights separately switch in the 4 directions and the install would look OEM. I agree with your idea of lighting up the place with individually switched porch lights for safety needs. We don't use the porch lights unless we want the light to extend outwards. Happy our hull has separate Entry and Porch light switches. Our older hull also has the older dim Courtesy lights which I noted at the Texas Rally, our neighbors Courtesy lights were easily twice as bright. If not, I would do what @Ollie-Haus has done with Z-brackets. Beautiful work, smoothly cut with radius corners, nicely painted, excellent! 😂 2 Chris & John in Prescott, AZ | 2016 EII #113 | '01 Ram 2500 Cummins!

I have a slightly damaged one and appreciate the source. Mine is a PLASTIC fixture coated with fake chrome. It certainly is not worth $44 in my minds eye. Guess I'll use s small dab of JB weld on the screw hole and re-drill it. At the Rally I asked Jason about the black gaskets. He indicated they remove the gasket and silicone the fixture on 3 1/2 sides.
