Got caught by the Google Street View car late last summer putting “Mouse” away….

I am not sure how I feel about this, they did politely blur my house street number, license plate and face, but the actual app shows my physical address…. and much of the contents of my RV bay.

Should I request that they blur out the Ollie and the inside of the bay? Am I being paranoid? Comments? Thanks.

That attached RV garage is awesome!  Regarding, the blurring, I wouldn't have worried about it before, but I guess you can't be too cautious these days.

Lucky You, GE has not updated many parts of western ND since late May of 2017.  and we have new roads, streets and sub-divisions added since then.

I have been trying for 2 years to get GE to update our flyover, and have not received any positive feedback.

and I am truly envious of your "Mouse House".

Imagine my surprise a few years ago when I looked at the Google view of our street and there I was, walking the dog on the side of the road. It gave me the creeps. Paula

Up to you whether to ask them to remove some of the detail, but I don't know that I'd have posted it here. Normally, it is just one of tens of millions of street view shots, but by posting it here with your address, it ties you with a physical address. Using just the image above, I can tell that you bought the house in 2016, how big it is, what you pay in taxes, etc.

Hey at least the yard looks great!   I always watch for my latest aerial view of our little ranch so I can compare my "mowing lines" to the neighbors! 🤣  Out here in the sticks... we don't even rate for the street-view pics.

 UPDATE:   Our ELLiRose was surfing the web and now she is jealous because all she gets is a stupid cover .  She now wants her own dedicated bay too!

Paranoid? Not completely. We listed our home for sale about 7 months ago, east of Indianapolis. It sold in 3 days. The listing was on Zillow and immediately showed as pending sold. By the pictures on the listing on Zillow you could tell we had already moved out. Within two days after it showed pending, our neighbor was sitting on his front porch late at night just enjoying the nice weather and overheard a couple arguing in our driveway about whether they should go into the house since it was vacant. The neighbor informed me of the situation and needless to say I moved back into the house temporarily until the new owners took possession. I don't think you can ever be too cautious.

Really nice two car garage PLUS what looks to be an RV garage.

With or without the pics - I'd bet that there is something expensive in that RV garage and while I'm in there I'd take a look around too  if I was that sort of person.

I wonder just how many crooks of the larceny type spend time on a computer "casing" houses to burgle?

Surely its nothing that "Reacher" couldn't take care of. 😊

Looks like UW colors on the Oliver.  Shouldn't have to worry about anyone stealing it!🙂
